“I live right next-door this restaurant. I’ve been there once before and had their breakfast burrito, which was amazing! Decided to take my son here while he was visiting town and did not disappoint. I had the eggs Benedict Florentine, which means no meat and we shared the bacon. And he got the hamburger. Our meals were absolutely delicious! The restaurant was very, very busy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was not any long waits between getting our food getting our check, etc.

The pancakes went by on a plate to another table and they look so yummy! I will definitely be coming back here again. I might try to go during the week because the weekend was very loud and busy. It didn’t interrupt our meal, but it was loud so just FYI.“

“Great meal last night. Crispy Pork Belly was amazing and a generous portion. Followed up with Fire Roasted Maitaki Mushrooms and a glass of Nebbiolo. Rye Boulevardier (a Negoni with whiskey) for a night cap. All delicious. Friendly yet prompt and professional service. Chatted with sommelier Katie about the awesome wine program. Beautiful space. It was a wonderful experience: the atmosphere felt warm and family-friendly, yet at the same time very cool, with great vibes all around. “WOW!!! As far as this review and my opinion.... this place is awesome and amazing. The vibe, the food, both Austin and Sandra were the perfect host to our special day. I dont drink alcohol so it really made no difference, i am a fan of breweries and i can say the beer here is like no other. The food was hard to choose from since this is our first time here. All i can say is this will be my come to place when we are in town with a few hours to spare. We had the house wings with white sauce, my mouth was in heaven and we both had the falafel salad, another perfect choice.the portions were perfect size for me and my new fiancee. (Thanks to Nomad eatery) it was a very pleasant atmosphere for our lifestyle. We shared the peaches and cream desert, but the name should be punches and scream... get your own!! Im a chocolate lover but the homemade granola was to try and the blend of peaches and cream was the perfect pair. The Vibe!!! This place may be small, but it definately has an atmosphere of what you bring to the table. The indoor seating is nice, the outdoor seating is perfect for large groups and "fur babies" we ran short on time with all of our planned festivies, that our little girl had to wait. I can say say a whole lot more, but i will stop at the general store and restroom. Clean and inviting as any other part of this establishment. From the time we stepped foot inside the door and paid our bill we were treated like we belonged there. I am glad i chose this awesome place to get engaged. “None of the food locations in the zoo have a lot of food choices, but Shoreline has better quality food than the other locations. I told the Team Lead that the condiment cups were out, and she was very cheerful and refilled them within 20 seconds.“

“We came here for brunch for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was also our first time coming here. The food was absolutely delicious AND we got a free dessert for her birthday. Not only was it free, it was a delicious, house-made crème brûlée! We will definitely be coming back!“

“If you’re ever in Salt Lake City - Savannah and crew are some of the loveliest people I’ve met in a long while and they’ve been taking good care of me while on assignment here with the FAA from out of state. The staff are friendly, timely, and have made me feel so welcome, A+ service from all staff there! I love the vibe and atmosphere there. It’s so cozy. This has been my favorite spot in Salt Lake while here! Dinner - breakfast - their alcohol you HAVE to try it all if you ever come through SLC! “Amazing experience. We did the seven-course tasting menu with some in-season soft drinks. The mushroom curry dish completely knocked my socks off, definitely my favorite. All the flavor combos were incredibly fresh. Amazing upside down apple cake at the end. The service was exceptional, great atmosphere and nice bathrooms. Didn’t hurt that there was a sick rainstorm happening while we were there—overall definitely one of the coolest restaurant experiences I’ve had. 10/10!“

“Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

“I'm not even sure where to begin. I am a young combat Veteran. This was the only place near me that I thought I'd have a chance of connecting with other veterans and families of veterans. Last night, Aug 14th, after only a few minutes there I was met with hostility, degrading comments, and physical assault by an intixicated individual. His name is Keven Sloan who isnt even a Vet. I'm in shock that the victims (myself and my friend who is also a combat vet) were removed from the establishment and the aggressors were allowed to follow us to our vehicles. And the people here were completely ok with it. Even as I was signing my tab, these aggressors were by my vehicle the entire time wanting physical altercations. I'm pursuing legal remedies at this time. The news outlets are aware too of what transpired. Stay away from this poorly ran establishment. It's not Vet friendly.“

“have been there a couple dozen times and will keep going back the HOSS is the best thing but it is the only thing I have ever had but everything is great the waitresses are all very nice and helpful but please don't take my word for it get there and try it for yourself it is the best place to eat it is my Saturday morning spot the one on 1700 south was there yesterday. So get off the couch and please get to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade you will be happy you did... also get on the wait list before you get there it's a busy place because it is great“

“Great atmosphere. We sat outside and it was really nice. Food was great as well. My wife had the Asian Salmon salad and I had the Blackened Salmon Sandwich. Fish was cooked perfectly amd my wife loves her salad. I had the house pasta salad with my sandwich and it was really good. Great service and got our food pretty quickly. Would recommend for a nice casual lunch or dinner.“

“Food was good, as usual. Loved the presentation of the octopus appetizer, but oddly, not the octopus itself (did love the grilled pineapple and shishito peppers, however). Salmon was excellent. Server, not so good. Food came out way too fast (didn't ask), with the entrees piled on before we'd finished our appetizers.“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

I got the avocado hummus and olive oil cake which Joshua recommended. As the young kids say it was absolutely BUSSIN…

I had the rainbow trout and it was a 10/10!! The rainbow trout was by far the BEST rainbow trout I have ever tasted!! If you’re into seafood I recommend to try the rainbow trout.🙌🏽❤️“

“I enjoyed dropping in here for lunch while in the SLC area for SmallSat. It is conveniently located inside of the Harmons grocery store. I was able to grab a good burger and some hand cut fries for lunch and then pick up some groceries after. The burger was quite tasty and the fries were very good as well. It was inexpensive and a nice place to grab a quick lunch. They did not have a gluten free bun option but the meat by itself was plenty tasty. Overall I enjoyed my lunch here.“

“Beautiful views and good food (for a hospital). It could obviously be a little more seasoned but hospital food isn’t known for its seasoning for a reason. I prefer going here over the main hospital because of it’s made-to-order food, instead of burgers that have been under a heat lamp. Plus the fries are yummy :)“

“Having been a cook there and working directly with the kitchen head and resident chef, it was fast, fun and sporadically busy-then dead. All that melts away when you see the view of SLC and the campus sprawled out before you. The Philly cheese steak sandwiches and grilled cheese are the go to items when I was involved. It's a great place and excellent view, would highly recommend.“

“We were treated by having Tucker as our server on the first day we went in (Halloween, 2025). He's got a great personality and had the time to chat it up with us - there weren't that many other parties because we arrived at 4p! His tips on how to enjoy the most out of our dishes, especially the mushroom flatbread, were irreplaceable. We felt like real insiders. Anyway, we enjoyed it so much that we brought our fellow foodie friends in the very next day! They tried many of the same dishes we ordered and also loved it. Great work with your menu and staff. We will come again and again and again whenever we're in town. Oh, just one slight negative note. I called to make sure you were open on Nov 1, and someone from the kitchen picked up. “It has been a minute since i was here last. Was up in the area and was telling a friend about the Gawd Awful and how good it was when i ate there while doing work up at the U. It has totally been revamped inside to a new clean Hipster feel with a more “cleaned up modified version” of what i remember. As it was still good and the portion size was smaller it was still really good. But i do miss the old “Dive” it once was tho. It is what made it stand out among the rest of the new hipster joints piping up in the area. It was a really cool place to take people and no one would expect the food to be so good and it proved them wrong every time. We will just have to get used to the new i guess“

“From my wife and sister in law's: Our server was amazing!! Food was excellent, however we were disappointed we couldn't get a glass of wine or a cocktail. We were on a sister trip and were wanting to have a special “fun” lunch and that was an unpleasant surprise.“

“First time at Cubby’s, and they’re missing the boat. Tacos should always have a corn tortilla option, especially for those who eat gluten free. I had to pick the tri-tip and toppings off the tacos, which I will say were tasty, but would have been much better in a corn tortilla. And would have been much more filling. Suggestion from a Texan, add corn tortillas please.
On a side note, the rosemary fries and fry sauce were good. And my hubby enjoyed the Gypsy burger quite a bit.
Also, the service was excellent.
