“Great meal last night. Crispy Pork Belly was amazing and a generous portion. Followed up with Fire Roasted Maitaki Mushrooms and a glass of Nebbiolo. Rye Boulevardier (a Negoni with whiskey) for a night cap. All delicious. Friendly yet prompt and professional service. Chatted with sommelier Katie about the awesome wine program. Beautiful space. Wil be back next time in SLC.“

“We ate on the outdoor terrace. Although being warm August temperatures, there was a beautiful cool breeze. The small waterfalls added a nice background to the light music being played. The food was outstanding. Wide selection and nice flavor combinations. We will be back.“

“WOW!!! As far as this review and my opinion.... this place is awesome and amazing. The vibe, the food, both Austin and Sandra were the perfect host to our special day. I dont drink alcohol so it really made no difference, i am a fan of breweries and i can say the beer here is like no other. The food was hard to choose from since this is our first time here. All i can say is this will be my come to place when we are in town with a few hours to spare. We had the house wings with white sauce, my mouth was in heaven and we both had the falafel salad, another perfect choice.the portions were perfect size for me and my new fiancee. (Thanks to Nomad eatery) it was a very pleasant atmosphere for our lifestyle. We shared the peaches and cream desert, but the name should be punches and scream... get your own!! Im a chocolate lover but the homemade granola was to try and the blend of peaches and cream was the perfect pair. The Vibe!!! This place may be small, but it definately has an atmosphere of what you bring to the table. The indoor seating is nice, the outdoor seating is perfect for large groups and "fur babies" we ran short on time with all of our planned festivies, that our little girl had to wait. I can say say a whole lot more, but i will stop at the general store and restroom. Clean and inviting as any other part of this establishment. From the time we stepped foot inside the door and paid our bill we were treated like we belonged there. I am glad i chose this awesome place to get engaged. “Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

“If you’re ever in Salt Lake City - Savannah and crew are some of the loveliest people I’ve met in a long while and they’ve been taking good care of me while on assignment here with the FAA from out of state. The staff are friendly, timely, and have made me feel so welcome, A+ service from all staff there! I love the vibe and atmosphere there. It’s so cozy. This has been my favorite spot in Salt Lake while here! Dinner - breakfast - their alcohol you HAVE to try it all if you ever come through SLC! This place outdoes everything I’ve ever tried back home in Vegas!“

“have been there a couple dozen times and will keep going back the HOSS is the best thing but it is the only thing I have ever had but everything is great the waitresses are all very nice and helpful but please don't take my word for it get there and try it for yourself it is the best place to eat it is my Saturday morning spot the one on 1700 south was there yesterday. So get off the couch and please get to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade you will be happy you did... also get on the wait list before you get there it's a busy place because it is great“

“With winter on the way, you have to have a bowl of "Some Soup." I can't tell you what is in it because Chef Milo's drive to create results in new recipes every week (I think?), but what never changes is the always exceptional blends of flavors.“

“All in all a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and beautiful. While there were some dishes I probably wouldn't try again, that has more to do with personal tastes than an error on their part (for instance, the Calamari seemed bland, but I am used to getting fried Calamari). I also was on the fence about the carrot puree for the scallops, but again - that's just on me, and I didn't read the description very well.
Our server was delightful and kept the martini's coming as I'd indicated I wanted (it's hard to get a martini in Utah, because it's only one alcohol, and the stupid state has such stupid rules).“

“Great atmosphere. We sat outside and it was really nice. Food was great as well. My wife had the Asian Salmon salad and I had the Blackened Salmon Sandwich. Fish was cooked perfectly amd my wife loves her salad. I had the house pasta salad with my sandwich and it was really good. Great service and got our food pretty quickly. Would recommend for a nice casual lunch or dinner.“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

“The food is very flavorful and tasty. I got a chicken entree with the sesame noodles (6/10) and broccoli (9/10) sides. The noodles have too much mint in them. I didn’t realize at first and got an entire mouthful of mint leaves. Please chop or just have less overall. Portion sizes are quite small for the price. I feel like a slice or two more of chicken and it would’ve been there for me.
Lots of other things on their menu look good and I was glad to see lots of people there too around dinner time. I think they just need a couple tweaks and it would be an easy 5/5.“

“Came here for NYE. They were charging a $20 cover charge, which is pretty steep; however, this was waived if you have a reservation. We had a reservation for later at night but were allowed to hang around until later, which was nice. It was probably one of their busiest nights, so it was packed, but the vibe was great. They had a DJ playing great sets and then a band closer to 10pm. It was quite challenging to order drinks due to the long lines, but it was understandable because the bartenders were swamped (this was even the case if you were seated at the bar). The main bar seemed reasonable, but their window had outrageous prices (probably scaled up for NYE). Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I recommend making a reservation for events ahead of time to avoid a cover charge.

Kid-friendliness: 21+ at night“

“I'm not even sure where to begin. I am a young combat Veteran. This was the only place near me that I thought I'd have a chance of connecting with other veterans and families of veterans. Last night, Aug 14th, after only a few minutes there I was met with hostility, degrading comments, and physical assault by an intixicated individual. His name is Keven Sloan who isnt even a Vet. I'm in shock that the victims (myself and my friend who is also a combat vet) were removed from the establishment and the aggressors were allowed to follow us to our vehicles. And the people here were completely ok with it. Even as I was signing my tab, these aggressors were by my vehicle the entire time wanting physical altercations. I'm pursuing legal remedies at this time. The news outlets are aware too of what transpired. Stay away from this poorly ran establishment. It's not Vet friendly.“

“Beautiful views and good food (for a hospital). It could obviously be a little more seasoned but hospital food isn’t known for its seasoning for a reason. I prefer going here over the main hospital because of it’s made-to-order food, instead of burgers that have been under a heat lamp. Plus the fries are yummy :)“

“I enjoyed dropping in here for lunch while in the SLC area for SmallSat. It is conveniently located inside of the Harmons grocery store. I was able to grab a good burger and some hand cut fries for lunch and then pick up some groceries after. The burger was quite tasty and the fries were very good as well. It was inexpensive and a nice place to grab a quick lunch. They did not have a gluten free bun option but the meat by itself was plenty tasty. Overall I enjoyed my lunch here.“

Personal favorites: Tacos, quesadilla and their weekly special menus! It’s tasty and the price is fair.

The place tends to be a little on the noisy side, but that was not a distraction, and the restaurant shares space with the bar, so expect a little noise. All said, we had a great time and a great meal.“

“Having been a cook there and working directly with the kitchen head and resident chef, it was fast, fun and sporadically busy-then dead. All that melts away when you see the view of SLC and the campus sprawled out before you. The Philly cheese steak sandwiches and grilled cheese are the go to items when I was involved. It's a great place and excellent view, would highly recommend.“

“Love their food! You pre order then staff brings you your meal. Salads are great. Lobster bisque is amazing. Wait staff can be ok. My last visit my gal was slow and I had to flag her down. Space isnt big so wait staff can see everyone from most points in the restaurant. Also can get busy and not have tables available. A great spot when shopping. I wouldn't bring a large group though unless shopping is part of your day.“

“We had one of our favorite meals in Salt Lake City at Carson Kitchen. From the very start our server, Nicky, was incredible. She was handling multiple tables while also making out drinks while also making sure we never went unattended. The food was always coming out hot and better than you would think. The grilled oysters, shrimp scampi, and steak were all great choices. To top it all off, the small but mighty dessert menu was perfect. You can't leave without trying the lemon bar. Overall this was a great dining experience and we hope to be back soon for more great food and great service from Nicky!“

“First time at Cubby’s, and they’re missing the boat. Tacos should always have a corn tortilla option, especially for those who eat gluten free. I had to pick the tri-tip and toppings off the tacos, which I will say were tasty, but would have been much better in a corn tortilla. And would have been much more filling. Suggestion from a Texan, add corn tortillas please.
On a side note, the rosemary fries and fry sauce were good. And my hubby enjoyed the Gypsy burger quite a bit.
Also, the service was excellent.
And why is it 65 degrees in here? We had to get hoodies from the car.“
