“At Julii, you can temporarily forget that you are in the middle of the Pike & Rose shopping center. Is it French? Mediterranean? doesn't matter, it's delicious. The place is small, but can get noisy when busy. On Sunday night, it was neither. Bartender Tico was also our server, and was attentive and friendly, with some top-shelf touches. There are a lot of meatless choices. The Greek salad was innovative and big enough to share. Our trout and swordfish were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. All the draft beers are local. It was clear from conversations we overheard that the place attracts regulars - with good reason.“

Most of the customers were much better dressed and without a child. Nothing wrong with this, just painting the picture. The staff could not have been nicer and more professional. We were greeted with open arms, sat immediately, and served with absolute professionalism. My food (the fish) was so good I considered licking the plate. They don’t necessarily have a kid’s menu but offered numerous things to make a toddler. I went with the burger and fries. They complimented this with numerous dipping sauces and made the burger to order. The charge was minimal and fair. I always clean up after him as toddlers can be messy and they insisted on letting them clean up (I did it anyway). Restrooms were spotless and the kitchen area you pass was very clean and well organized. It’s a small spot full of big talent. This will be a regular for us. A must dine.“

“I can't believe that I have lived here for nearly 20 years, walked past this place many times, and just discovered it several weeks ago. WOW! The pastries and, cakes, muffins and croissants are excellent. Their homemade jams are wonderful. Their breads, quite yummy! I love their iced coffee , which has s a very subtle taste of cocoa. And, I am a very picky coffee snob. Service is sometimes a little chaotic, but the staff is super friendly. Weekend mornings are insanely busy- a reflection of how good they are. Amazing, spacious outdoor seating! LOVE this place.“

The Tuscano Sandwhich really hit the spot - great flavor and fresh ingredients. I also had a fruit cup and fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything was nice and cool - hit so good on a hot hot day. Overall this spot is pricy but totally worth it today! I can’t wait to come back and try more sandwiches. Quick and responsive staff as well.“
