“I stopped at a Starbucks off Jank Road on my way to work for a caramel crumble frappuccino, but unfortunately, it tasted like watered-down coffee—something I’ve never experienced in all my years of visiting Starbucks. I was disappointed, but on my way to work I came across this beautiful location (in the Midlothian/Glen Allen area) and decided to stop in.

The team there immediately corrected my drink, added extra crumbles, and delivered exactly the rich, flavorful frappuccino I was craving. They exceeded my expectations and turned my day around. I generally have great experiences with Starbucks, but this location really stood out for their quick service, friendly attitude, and commitment to making things right.“

“This Starbucks has a quaint exterior. The staff is courteous and professional. My order did not take long to be prepared. Seating however is extremely tight and limited; this location may not be best for working or meeting someone. I would however recommend this location for just picking up an order. There was great customer service and cleanliness.“

“I love this location so much. All of the opening baristas are super nice and friendly, and they work fast, too. I’m usually here right after I get off a night shift and need something to keep me awake on the drive home, and the nice baristas are just the cherry on top.“

“i got delivery on doordash, the lady who picked up the phone was so sweet !!! I asked her if i could get a cup of water with my order and she said yes, and that she’ll keep a lookout for my name. I love customer service like that, it made my whole morning. Then someone wrote my name in a fancy cute font and put a mini heart. Its so pretty !! I just got my drinks and THEY DREW THE CUTEST FLOWER ON ITTT AND MY NAME IS GORGEOUS. This made my whole WEEK.“

“I know there is unrest in the company, as it is all over vlogs, blogs, and social media. This store seemed unscathed and employs a staff of personable, kind, and funny staff. I appreciate their interactions, and already always chipper and sweet. They helped me navigate my dietary restrictions. I love the coconut milk with my usual order. I appreciate the baristas helping me out.

Dietary restrictions: Helpful staff. They helped me with my dairy selection. I was just told to avoid dairy, so for the first time, I tried my drink with coconut milk.“

Respect to the Starbucks employees who showed up and worked while others chose not to. They carried the store, served customers, and kept things moving without excuses.

The contrast was obvious: some people stepped up, others walked away. This location stayed open because a few adults understood responsibility. Those are the workers who actually deserve recognition.“

“Just went to this Starbucks inside of Target. First time at this location. I ordered a coffee that I typically get, and the person who made it somehow made it the best that I have ever had at any Starbucks. Must have added extra love or care. I believe their name was Jen. “I almost always enjoy Starbucks food/drink; Starbucks is Starbucks. This being said, not all locations are created equal. This location has the best staff that make perfect, consistent food and drinks, and pay special attention to each and every customization. They are always so friendly and accommodating, and no matter what kind of day you’re having, it’ll be better when you visit this location.
The manager, Victoria, was made for customer service. She always has her game face on and clearly runs her Starbucks ship with kindness and care for her staff, customers and community. For teacher appreciation week in Henrico, she helped me get several large carafes of coffee to celebrate the staff at the school I work at, making sure to tell me how grateful she is for HCPS and how they love and help our children.
When you drive around any corner, there’s probably a Starbucks. I go out of my way to visit this location before any others, and you should too!“

“The staff was great. I asked for a drink concoction to be made and Malaysia made her creation and it was amazing! I have tried so many Starbucks all over east coast and just couldn't find the right drink until yesterday. Thank you, Malaysia for your unique creation. Truly like Christmas in a cup.“

Food was warm not hot. Yet, it was good.
All in all, I would order here again.
Drive thru was busy to the point that cars were out in the main road. I'm sure that's not fun for drivers in the morning. If you park in handicap, you could get stuck if drive thru is busy.“

“My experience at Starbucks was great overall. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable, with private, family-style bathrooms and convenient phone charging available. The service was fast and thoughtful they even remembered my name from an earlier order and encouraged me to use my Starbucks Rewards card, which was a nice touch. The new Ube Coconut Macchiato was amazing, and I really enjoyed the early 2000s music playing. With added perks like a drive-thru and consistent service, it’s definitely a location I’d recommend. ☕✨“

“I wanted to get some Starbucks after hearing news about me spraining my shoulder. I couldn't get his name at the time but the employee working there on 7/5 at around 4 pm was super polite and telling me how he hopes I feel better and just went above and beyond honestly. “Got the total Starbucks experience. The barista LC's smile was contagious, which is hard for me before coffee. lol Great selection of pastries, clean and organized store. LC's positivity is a great way to start your day. The only disappointment is there was no tip jar to leave a tip.“

“My family was on the road traveling, and we stopped here to clean up our toddler and get her lunch. I wish I got their names, but this afternoon (well, I guess yesterday by now, writing this after midnight) we had the sweetest staff go above and beyond to make things so much easier for us!

I hope their manager treats them well, they are definitely keepers. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because Starbucks, as always, is only so-so in quality. But this staff is totally 5/5.“

“Been at the hospital all week with family in ICU. I have been so thankful for the much needed coffee, kind workers, and quick service. Only one day was it really slow BUT they were training so I totally understood and had no issue waiting. Looks nice and has lots of sitting room.“

“I would like to say, since COVID, I have lost many of my favorite Baristas… however when Owen, Jomar and Jack are there I know I’m taken care of. They always know my name and the drinks I get.. I fluctuate between 2 and they always remember….
Jomar always has pleasant conversations with me, and Owen never messed up my drink, (they are amazing) they are both the best! Jack is always very pleasant.

Yall need to do what you can to keep them… us regulars that go in at least 3 times a week need stability.“

“Starbucks food is pretty average, sometimes at this location they are missing a lot of inventory which sucks! The workers are nice. Every month they have new featured drinks which are cool!They have pretty nice lobby area with nice lighting and booths. The outlets are very useful for studying too!

Vegetarian options: They offer bell pepper egg bites and spinach feta wraps!“

“Visited this location yesterday evening. It was packed. There must have been at least 20-25 people inside this tiny location. All waiting for their orders or to order.

There were 4 baristas which anyone in the store could tell was not enough.

These ladies did a phenomenal job maintaining a positive demeanor, professionalism, and ability to get folks’ orders out as quickly as possible.

Everyone working was doing everything possible given their lack of resources from Starbucks. They deserve to be recognized and hopefully Starbucks knows what amazing members of staff and how much the need these women at this location.

Thank you very much, I can’t imagine the adrenaline, stress, and anxiety these champions go though on a daily basis.

“If I could give ten stars to this location, I would. I come to this Starbucks at least a handful times a week. Each member of the team is outright enthusiastic, prompt and kind. You really start to appreciate that after consistent experiences. This Starbucks deserves a medal in the area, as a top-notch, quick, efficient and pleasant place to patronize.“
