“I stopped at a Starbucks off Jank Road on my way to work for a caramel crumble frappuccino, but unfortunately, it tasted like watered-down coffee—something I’ve never experienced in all my years of visiting Starbucks. I was disappointed, but on my way to work I came across this beautiful location (in the Midlothian/Glen Allen area) and decided to stop in.

The team there immediately corrected my drink, added extra crumbles, and delivered exactly the rich, flavorful frappuccino I was craving. They exceeded my expectations and turned my day around. I generally have great experiences with Starbucks, but this location really stood out for their quick service, friendly attitude, and commitment to making things right.“

“I love this location and the workers here their great, but this going on strike thing is kinda ridiculous because this is the closest one to me I don’t want to travel further every time I want a coffee it kinda feels like yall don’t mind not making money.“

“Always someone greeting you with cheer in their voice each visit through the drive thru and in person. The drinks are made with love. You can taste it. Never have I visited this location and my drink turned out disappointing. Quick service. Never have I had to return because something is missing or wrong. So many options for my breakfast run. Java chip my favorite. Gruyere egg bites yum. Double smoked bacon ,cheddar and egg sandwich takes one back. Chocolate croissant you name it! No trip to Paris needed.“

“Hello! I hope someone from this Starbucks gets this review. I just wanted to say I keep coming back for the apple crisp oat milk macchiato (hot) and it’s very good! I also keep coming back because the service is very welcoming and friendly. There was one time where I tried to pick up my order around 5:30am and the doors were still mistakenly locked but when I came back the next day they gave me a gift card which was very nice of them! Thank you guys for all you do!“

“There seems to be a permanent shortage of cinnamon-raisin bagels, my favorite!About atmosphere:I fully understand the change in interior furnishings to encourage more rapid turnover of occupancy and increase business, but I have to say, knowing that it won't result in any change, that I much preferred the softer seating and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere that were present prior to the change of business plan to increase drive-by ordering.“

Respect to the Starbucks employees who showed up and worked while others chose not to. They carried the store, served customers, and kept things moving without excuses.

The contrast was obvious: some people stepped up, others walked away. This location stayed open because a few adults understood responsibility. Those are the workers who actually deserve recognition.“

“Just went to this Starbucks inside of Target. First time at this location. I ordered a coffee that I typically get, and the person who made it somehow made it the best that I have ever had at any Starbucks. Must have added extra love or care. I believe their name was Jen. We stopped here on a road trip back to New Jersey and really loved this location. It is so clean inside, the vibe was really chill, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, and great drinks.

I definitely recommend stopping at this location! They also have a great selection of coffees to purchase as you walk in. They had some flavors I have never seen before!“

“I know there is unrest in the company, as it is all over vlogs, blogs, and social media. This store seemed unscathed and employs a staff of personable, kind, and funny staff. I appreciate their interactions, and already always chipper and sweet. They helped me navigate my dietary restrictions. I love the coconut milk with my usual order. I appreciate the baristas helping me out.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to this time. I’ve only seen Aryn one other time before, but the moment I walked in, he remembered me right away. That little detail honestly blew me away.

That day I wasn’t at my best (and yes, I’ll admit I was even “cheating” on my usual coffee spot), but Aryn’s infectious attitude completely turned my mood around. The way he greets people and carries himself makes such a difference — it’s rare to meet someone who can brighten your day just by being themselves.

Starbucks is lucky to have him. He’s one of those genuinely awesome employees who reminds you that great people really do make all the difference“

“We came here during our road trip. The people here were nice and courteous. They did not have everything we wanted but the guy over the speaker was patient telling us what they had. I had a large number of people with me and I went there in the evening so that's understandable. If I pass through this way I would come back.“

“I had a much better experience at this location instead of the one close to my house. I was greeted when I walked in, holiday tunes playing, people enjoying the atmosphere & my hot tea was on point. If you feel a head cold coming on or have one, the medicine ball is the best thing to get you through the day. My drink was perfect. My lemon pound cake was FRESH too!“

“Came in around 5:30.
The person behind the counter told me before I ordered that the card reader wasn’t working and I could only pay with the app or cash, which was good to know before I ordered!
I ordered a grande matcha latte whole milk and a chocolate croissant.

Ended up parking for a minute with my laptop to do some work and only realized about fifteen minutes later that my food/drink hadn’t come out.
I went to the register to check on that and apparently the scan hadn’t gone through, but the team working handled it so kindly and made me a new drink and warmed my croissant so quickly. They didn’t have to rush since I was working in store, but they hustled and handled it like it was nothing.

Starbucks, fix your equipment. Your teams shouldn’t have to deal with faulty issues that could end up having them being treated unfairly for something out of their control. Looking back at previous reviews I see this has been going on a month and that’s inexcusable. That’s how you lose great employees like the ones who helped me today. :)“

“Starbucks food is pretty average, sometimes at this location they are missing a lot of inventory which sucks! The workers are nice. Every month they have new featured drinks which are cool!They have pretty nice lobby area with nice lighting and booths. The outlets are very useful for studying too!

About 15 minutes late (5:30am 😩), I picked up my online order. I just got to my office and saw a good morning message on my coffee cup. It made me smile. “This is my favorite Starbucks in Charlottesville. The one at 250 bypass & Emmet Street is so crowded and the parking lot is awful. This location has plenty of parking, the crew does their best to get you your drinks quickly, and they've been open during bad weather and holidays when other Starbucks in Charlottesville aren't.“
