We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the food here. My family and I really enjoyed the tempura, bento boxes, aburi nigiri, and saba oshi. At first, they thought they had given us the wrong order, but it turned out they had it right, but still let us keep the extras at no charge, which was really nice of them!

Our server was super nice and attentive, but things got crazy busy all of a sudden when the lunch crowd came in. She was trying to handle takeout phone calls, pickup orders, and dine-in customers all at once. Poor woman definitely needed some backup! She still did a great job and stayed friendly and attentive even with everything going on.

Overall, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. We’ll definitely come back!“

“I ordered omakase nigiri, mackerel and eel hako sushi, black cod saikyo yaki, and agedashi-tofu to takeout for our anniversary dinner. All of them are amazing! Especially, mackerel hako sushi was the best of all mackerel that I ate in Canada. Not only the fish, sushi rice was so good! Thanks to these great foods, we could spend the great anniversary! If you are looking for the real Japanese amazing sushi, I strongly recommend Yugafu!“

My only complaint is the rice, in my opinion felt a bit heavy and I didn’t hate it but I didn’t like it either. However, the hospitality was great and got free dessert for her birthday. “Ko’s is a super cute mom and pop shop with delicious sushi that will make you want to come back over and over again! You can taste Mr. Ko’s passion and professionalism in every bite. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, the asparagus goes surprisingly well with the Philly roll but be advised, the rolls are pretty big. The spicy tuna salad has a tasty kick to it from the gochujang sauce which makes it a wonderful dish with a slight Korean twist! 10/10 experience. “Super cute little sushi resteraunt with fresh and filling sushi. My only complaint is that we asked to add mango to the yam roll, which was only added to the two end pieces. We had the party tray A, which was shared between two people. We both left full and pleased. My little one enjoyed the miso soup (as did I). There were 3 bits of sponge like bits on top which I am unsure of what they were, but I ate them anyway as I assumed they were dehydrated tofu potentially? “My son wanted me to write this review. He has yet to learn how to use chopsticks properly and really appreciated that they gave him the learner chopsticks. The server also gave him ice to add to his miso soup to cool it down. They were courteous and the food was delicious!

While we were eating, we noticed how kind they were with an older gentleman, who had ordered take out. With so many sushi places in Brookswood, I would recommend giving this one a try.“

I’ve ordered from them recently quite a bit and it’s the same every time, same mods same food.
Today I forgot to add one of my usual modifications… and they called me to check if I wanted the sauce or not because Ive always put a note asking for no sauce and this time I didn’t. Like what! The care! ☺
I order through Uber Eats and honestly if this is not going above and beyond, caring and knowing your costumers… even your fairly new ones, thn idk what is because WOW
The food has always been outstanding since I started ordering there but the attention and costumed service that I just experienced!! Mind blown.

I had the Chicken Katsu, Negitoro and egg roll.

I placed a call at the restaurant to ask for no salad and sauce for my katsu on the side. They were very polite and took care of my needs right away!

The food arrived pipin' hot (Chicken Katsu) The Chicken Katsu was very well made. The amount of outer coating wasn't too much or too little, it was just right enough to leave that crispness with each bite of the chicken. The chicken itself was also juicy as well. I highly recommend this dish.

The negi and egg toro were good, very simple yet perfected dishes. If you want something to top off your meal, I also suggest ordering a side of these small rolls!

Overall, the food was perfect, and it arrived tasting extremely FRESH.

I realized it was gone when I came home and called Ato sushi right away. The server confirmed that she found it in the bathroom. “Landed in Langley last weekend visiting from Alberta and my cousin insisted we try Hitori for dinner around 7pm, glad we listened because the place was packed but they still got us seated fast. The chirashi bowl was easily the freshest raw fish I've had outside of actually being on the coast, and the miso soup that came with it was a nice touch. Staff were really attentive without being pushy, checked on us a couple times but never made us feel rushed even though people were waiting for tables. Parking behind the building was surprisingly easy to find too, which made the whole night stress free.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“The sushi is the freshest you will get anywhere and their portions are generous while the price is very reasonable. We've been three times lately and it's always great. The restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall type, so not much they can do to make it glamourous, but it is so worthwhile.
