“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(“

“This place is amazing. The ambiance is dark and sexy, the staff is beyond welcoming, and the execution of the dishes is consistently on point. The menu is fun and hits from eclectic to classic. My wife and I have been here twice, and both times they slipped us a thank you dish. Normally we like to try different places, but 2120 is a place we’ll go back to again and again. Cocktails are inventive and complex. I have one gripe, I’d love to see this place expand to an international wine list, cause if they do this well at what they already do, their international wine choices would prob be exceptional. Owen Kotler Selections would be a great fit here. Shout out to Jason the Gm and our server was Will (I believe, sorry homie, strong cocktails blur my memory). The desserts man. It’s like everyone here really loves what they’re doing, and intense scrutiny goes into each dish the comes out of that kitchen. Top restaurant in Seattle for sure. More affordable than most too. “After living across from Copine for nearly a year, and then moving, we finally made a reservation, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The restaurant’s intimate, refined atmosphere is complemented by attentive, knowledgeable service. From the amuse (not pictured) to dessert, every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, the combination of exquisite food and impeccable service makes Copine a must-visit in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. We’ll definitely be returning.

“Frank's is my favorite place in town to get oysters on the half-shell. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The bread with ash butter and sea salt is a favorite. The oysters are fresh, plump, and succulent. The champagne mignonette is flavorful and delicate so as not to outdo the oysters. We tried a seasonal dessert: nectarine, rose, and pistachio pavlova. Everything is delicious. Finally, the service is impeccable. We always feel special when we are here and we can't wait to visit again soon!“

“America’s 1st all vegetable based Fast Food burger joint. Tasted great, a wonderful variety of add-ons and sauces 😋 . Didn’t try the shakes, but they looked marvelous and a friend highly recommended the Peanut-butter shake!“

“I've come here twice and both times, this place was a hit with two separate friend groups. The dishes we tried were a brisket burger, buffalo chicken sliders, cilantro lime salad, and their street tacos - all were amazing and cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the Strawberry Basil mocktail (it's super refreshing) and their blueberry cheesecake.

This is a great location w/ a lot of parking around it, a great outdoor sitting area, fair prices and friendly staff. Fingers crossed they will extend their lunch hours throughout the week =)“

“We stopped in Solo Bar after attending the Folklife Festival for a bite to eat. Wow, what a great menu. I’m part Greek, so when I see lamb meatballs on a menu, I’m likely to try them, and I was glad I did. Super flavorful, served with salted cucumber slices, tzatziki sauce and pita bread. Amazing. We shared a generous antipasto plate and probably one of the best lemon chicken soups I’ve ever had. If you find yourself on Lower Queen Anne sometime, give this place a try. I regret not taking a photo to show you all.“

“Solid brunch experience with delicious food and reasonable (by Seattle standards) prices. The menu features classic dishes with fresh, local ingredients, and our meals were well-prepared and flavorful.

We got an omelette, pork schnitzel, and cornmeal pancake. It was all very good!

However, our experience was slightly dampened (literally!) by the weather. Due to limited indoor seating, we were seated outside on a chilly and rainy Seattle morning. While the covered patio offered some protection and the heater offered some warmth, it was still quite cold, which detracted from the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the meal. At least the coffee was hot!

Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the quality of the food and service at Harry's Fine Foods makes it a worthwhile dining destination. Just remember to dress warmly and hope for sunshine!“

“I was walking in the area looking for a restaurant to get an early dinner when I saw republic. I don't drink so was hesitant but when I entered I was surprised to see such an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly, efficient, professional, friendly, and accommodating. The menu was eclectic with unique offerings. I chose the grilled asparagus which was amazingly good , and the beef tips which were tender and delicious. My friend had a cheeseburger which he said was wonderful, and cooked to perfection. It was served with a generous portion of the best fries I have eaten in years. I highly recommend this place!!!“

“Bummer, been going for years to all of her restaurants. Food is excellent, ambiance is five stars. However, for the first time I felt very unwelcome here. My server couldn’t get me outta there faster. I had two kids with me, but they didn’t act up or anything and we had a 5.15 seating. Our server asked me for my whole order with drinks, and when dinner was over asked me if I wanted my check before she asked about dessert. I literally started thinking “do I know her from somewhere else? And does she not like me for some reason?” I had to ask for my dessert to go, as it felt like she didn’t want me to eat it there. Restaurant wasn’t even full when we left. Will put some space between me and whale wins for a while 😥“
