“Finally! A place that seasons their food a little bit! I'm a Texan transplant here in Washington State. I've been all over, and this is the first place that has flavor to their food in this state. I wouldn't call it bold. It did make my son and I smile when we had the fish and chips Cajun style. Not even close to Cajun, but at least seasoned well enough to make me happy! 5 stars purely because this was not bland food and we ate outside by the pier. We will visit again!“

The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. “This place is just the best. My family has been going here for decades. My father was actually their very first customer at grand opening. To this day we still celebrate yearly by having our family meet here for dinner. Absolutely wonderful staff, relaxing atmosphere, and the best Chinese cuisine you will have ever had (disclaimer i've never been to china 😅) you will not regret it. Love em, Ill be a customer for life, just like my dad was.“

“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

“A few of these reviews are very helpful! The one thing I was looking for that I didn't see was the trailer temp for loading. It looks like they want reefers set to -10. Doesn't seem like a big deal to have it pre-chilled as I'm sure it would have said so in my load information, but I would've liked to have mine already running at the correct temp before I arrived.“

“My aunt loves Ivar's fish & chips, so she was very happy that there was one close to her assisted living apartment.

It was fun to listen to her tell stories of going to Ivar's pier 54 on the Seattle waterfront when she was young.

“As a hotel-affiliated bar, it completely lowers the brand image. Traditional Western food is not well done, and fusion is also a mess. The appetizer should be refreshing and creative, but unfortunately I don't buy this tuna taco. The taco part is like a sesame crisp with too much sugar, which is very sticky. Another steamed clams is very salty, not fresh, not fragrant, and not paired with bread. The main course is shocking! Don't make the halibut too old, and it has no taste! It feels like I can do it (a disparagement of the restaurant) pp spicy review: The fish is like the top student of the Group Project, and it has played its own level, so it will only feel average. But the rice is carried away in it, and it is even better. The best part of my seafood ragu is the garlic butter bread. The quality of the fish is good, and the scallops are tender and big. But the tomato sauce is completely uncreative, salty and ordinary The baked brulee cheesecake with too much vanilla extract is suffocating, and the caramel crispy crust on top completely suppresses the mellow cheese flavor. The chocolate mousse was rich and delicious, but the milk-like stuff on the top had some grains and was not stirred well. No next time!“

“The second you walk in you are greeted and given a table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Placed my order and in less than 10 mins the food arrived. The staff were quick and polite the whole time, refilling my cup of water when it was halfway empty. The food was delicious and FRESH! If you’re not from Washington do expect to pay before getting your food. Loved eating here, will come back again.“

The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. “I love hot pot and I really love Haidilao! Very attentive service and many options for all your needs whether it’s soup base options, spiciness, veggies, proteins and more. I’m very satisfied and will definitely come back. I’ve never ate hotpot alone always with larger groups but I was in the area and have been craving so I decided to stop by, I will say you definitely get a better “bang for your buck” when you dine in groups! I spent about $110 by myself before too, I ate a solid amount over about 1.5 hours and took some home! You could definitely get that price down ordering one of their lunch combos for 1 person but I wanted two soup bases because I was splurging. Not to mention all there amenities!! A nice fabric apron, I was even offered a phone stand so I didn’t have to use my cup to prop it up, complimentary ice cream, and also disposable toothbrush/paste and mouthwash in the bathroom. Like seriously how sweet and can it get any better? Having said all that I knew what I was getting into price wise, don’t expect a necessarily cheap lunch but it’s worth it to treat yourself every now and then and I am another happy customer of many!

“A local Seattle friend took us to a seafood restaurant, and the grilled lobster was indeed a masterpiece, Q-bouncing as if it were fighting with my teeth ...... Steak grilled octopus fried squid clam chowder are all this 👍🏻 and the final dessert of caramelised bread pudding was amazing! The meal cost nearly $650 plus a $100 tip, so it was worth it, haha!😁😋😋I'll be back next time.“
