“My Father's Day Surprise was a visit to Arleana's Restaurant in Kirkland, Washington. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was very good, especially the jerk syrup was was delicious. And I am very picky about jerk seasoning. The Bloody Mary had a unique flavor. It was not my traditional BM. But it was surprisingly great. It's quite a drive for me. But I will return for the selection of food, drink and ambiance. This was a great dining experience.“

“Anthony’s HomePort @ Kirkland made my Birthday Special. First was greeted by a wonderful staff at the check in area. Then when seated at a wonderful window view was handed a cute Birthday card. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. “I chose this restaurant because my friend loves oysters. We had Sam as our waiter in the dining room and he was magnificent! He recognized that I wasn't quite sure what to order because this was more high-end restaurant than I've been to, and so he guided me based on my preferences. He suggested that I try the sea bass and I did and it was so delicious!! I have never eaten sea bass before so I had no idea how great it would taste and the way they prepared it was just beautiful. My friend was also pleased with her meal but I'm not sure the name of what she got. Regarding the food, it was excellent!!

Unfortunately, we were seated right by the kitchen so I cannot attest to the ambiance.

My biggest complaint is that we did not get served drinks for quite some time even though we were sitting at the bar for happy hour prior before going into the dining room for our reservation. The Bartender, who was making drinks right in front of us, didn't talk to us for a few minutes and then she said she asked if we had a reservation. I said yes and we continued to not be served. Finally she asked if we had ordered drinks. I said no. She said I told her yes when she asked 15 minutes ago. I said I may have misunderstood her, even though my friend stated that she didn't ask that. My issue is that even if I did misunderstand what she asked, she still waited too long to follow up. If it had been super busy I would give more grace, but it wasn't. Maybe I should have spoken up sooner, but I was confused.

Overall it was fine. I knew it was going to be expensive; I was there for the experience and I guess I was expecting more. Thank goodness for Sam!!“

“Their fish is of superior quality compared to other Japanese restaurants in this area. I used to live in Japan for a long time so when I feel like eating Japanese food I always go to this one. I am a routine customer and I always order their salmon box, which they remember every time.“

The fried rice was excellent and the fried shrimp, we were mixed on the honey shrimp, really sweet . The broccoli beef was cooked perfectly , not mushy .
The chow mein was lacking the pork and just MEH.
FOR $100 we got all of that and the appetizer combo.
Plenty of food for 4 people with a lunch for 1 leftover. Good portion size .“

“Two moms had the most enjoyable dinner compliments of our adult children. Exquisite flavors, relaxed vibe, gracious hosts. Absolutely fabulous!“

“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“
