“Excellent spot. They have a select few options but each one (that we had) was done really well. We had the seasonal focaccia, the sweet croissant, and the savory croissant. We loved them all - (even though this is a personal thing) I did feel like the snap peas on the savory croissant gave it a weird smell. We also grabbed their olive oil sandwich bread which is good! Nice for making avocado toast. Finally, their drinks: the seasonal matcha strawberry was BOMB. The ice coffee was average. Would highly recommend this place.

“Although finding parking is a bit of a challenge, this place did not disappoint. I chose a variety of items to try, the regular croissant, the chocolate hazelnut croissant, the pan au chocolat, and the Kouign amann. Each and everyone of them was amazing. “Customer service is great. The owner was serving us and she's as so nice! She told us how the shop opened in June during the pandemic. There isn't seating inside but just across the street is a cute open public seating area. We got the chocolate chunk salted cookie, the vegan triple chocolate cupcake, mocha, and chia with oat milk. I recommend all of it! The vegans triple chocolate cupcake was perfect, moist and light.“

“Are you KIDDING ME???!! This is the best (& tiniest) little place in all of Pikes place market center. Serena (owner) has absolutely killed it with this place. She was so knowledgeable about all things pastry baking, and answered my (mannnny) questions about each individual pastry helping me to pick the perfect one for my taste buds. She was so delightful and seriously put the cherry on top of my Seattle trip. A lot of the other shops we stopped by seemed annoyed with tourists and me asking questions but she was genuinely was excited to serve us. The wild part is, she did all of this a couple minutes after close bc I didn’t realize they were closed as I approached the counter. She could have easily turned me away but instead she was so inviting and spent a fair amount of time with me making the experience memorable. I will be SURE to visit her again my next stop to Pikes place market and shout from the rooftops : ANYONE WHO VISITS SEATTLE, GO SEE / SUPPORT SERENA AT HER LITTLE PASTRY SHOP!

These pastries are REAL, AUTHENTIC, QUALITY, like hand made pastries. You can taste the love and labor. Not mass produced and generic quality like some of the other shops we purchased pastries from. I want a refund from all those shops so I can go back and spend it alllll on Pufftown.

“on Saturday in Seattle, at a bar right around the corner, that this little cookie shop had strawberry rhubarb cookies! I RAN to this little shop to grab obe for my husband as it was his birthday and his all time favorite pie is strawberry rhubarb! every year instead of a cake i bake him this delicious pie. so when I heard about this cookie and how good it was, I was running. when I arrived there was only 1 left, and this lovely couple in front of me, who picked it out for themselves, heard my gasp, and asked if I wanted it! I happily paid for a scrumptious looking key lime cookie for them and got my gift for my husband. it was DELICIOUS!!!! The cinnamon sugar outside with a great crumble to chewy consistency with the perfect strawberry rhubarb stuffing was out of this world good! such a cute little spot right by the old rainier building in seattle. highly recommend to all my friends next time they are in the area! I got the grilled cheese, a couple of quiche, lavender chia tea, and some other goodies in pics. The magic bar was my fav. So good. The cafe itself could use some updating, but I just got items to go. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and it's located right across the street from the little kid pool at Green Lake.“

“I am from Europe and both me and my wife consider Grand Pere Bakery the best French pastry bakery we've seen in Seattle so far. In particular, the pastries are just perfect - airy/fluffy and not over-buttered. In particular, just try to the plain / "butter" croissant - it is just right, not greasy, perfectly baked. Most other pastry shops around here put way too much fat in their pastries so they are too greasy and heavy. Their Danish pastries are great too. I hope they keep going for a long time because they are now my favorite bakery :)“
