Fernando and the Head Chef were both off this evening and the staff and food were as great as if they had been there. They all take their part in the restaurant very much to heart and it shows. Everything was perfectly balanced and presented with care. The quality definitely exceeded my expectations for the price. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving quality sushi. “I looked up musubi and this place came up with really good reviews. I was not disappointed. I got three different kinds of musubi. Tempura prawns, spam and Portuguese sausage. All of them delicious. I also ordered a combination plate and got machicho(sp?)chicken and the shoyu chicken. I used to compete in barbecue and the shoyu chicken is a prize winner. So far nothing has disappointed me. Don't expect it to be super clean. The table tops were ok but the floors had all kinda dust and stuff. They do have really nice pictures up though. Make sure if you don't see anyone up front they have a bell next to the POS.“

“A nondescript pub on the outside with outstanding food and service on the inside. I went for the seafood special of black cod, which came plated as though i was at a restaraunt with white linens. And the taste... MMmmm! Hadn't eaten all day, so followed that with fish and chips. The thinly breaded very generous fish portions were cooked perfectly. After stirring the coleslaw to get the sauce up from the bottom, the flavors meet the high bar the rest of the dishes had set. Great IPAs on tap and a very good porter, too. But the night i was there the rotating sour tasted more like a cider. Bonus: A seat at the bar may treat you to a view of the kitchen in action!“

“The food was wonderful!! Full 5 stars! My favorite is the cashew noodle and I love that you can, for a small fee, add an additional serving of protein, which I did. The gyoza was wonderful too. So many restaurants take out is not as nice as at the restaurant, but not theirs. I opened both orders and it was arranged so beautifully, like a pretty picture and it tasted as good as it looked. I'm so happy to have them 5 minutes away. You won't be sorry with what you order, I'm sure it will be excellent too. Thanks for the great food!!“

I prefer my egg slightly cooked a little longer but other than that the flavors were all great melding together and cooked well. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the egg and also most ramen restaurants I've eaten at also offer a baguette type bread for dipping in your broth. “I first visited Ono Teriyaki in 1996 while working nearby for a while I got lunch there at least 3 days a week. It's always been good food and good customer service at a good price. It's no wonder that after 3 decades they are still there.“
