“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BEST Food in Fairbanks, Alaska! I recently dined at Jazz Bistro On 4th and was blown away by the experience! Chef Tony is absolutely fabulous, and his culinary skills are exceptional. Every dish was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. I can’t recommend Jazz Bistro enough — a true gem in Fairbanks.”

“One of our few favorite places to enjoy a meal here in Fairbanks, the food is good, the hibachi chefs and the waiters are nice.
Only issue is the guy with the thick rimmed glasses( I want to assume he is the manager/owner) he comes off very rude. Throws the menus in the tables, cuts infront of guest to get by. He just gives off a bad energy. But other than that the place is decent!”

“My boyfriend and I had a pretty stressful Christmas Eve. We live in Goldstream, had no running water and needed to get an airbnb in town while that got fixed. We were starving and needed a beer on Christmas Eve and these folks were open and SLAMMED. There were only a few folks working and they were so friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible. I had the sweet n sour chicken and he had the beer bulgogi which were both INCREDIBLE…but the star of the show was the crab Rangoon. OMG. If you come here you have to get it. It was like a dessert. Thank you all for an amazing and welcoming dining experience!!!”

We were taken care of by not just a good, not a great but my all time best server I have ever had. Her name is Jenna. I want to say that she is my all time best and favorite waitress in my 77 years of being. The food and ambiance were also good. But Jenna was fantastic Thank you Jenna”

“First time trying the fruit crepes today and it is sooooo delicious. I highly recommend trying them out. I order the beef lo-mein and keep seeing the crepes but always scared to try them. So glad I bought it ate half and can eat the other half later. 5 star from me.”

“Can't comment on the food but Alexandra the bartender absolutely made the last night of our hard earned vacation worth it. It was undoubtedly busy, but she was hustling with CVS receipt long tickets, handling the bar and two restaurants by her self. To the management, you needs a barback. Several tables were upset with service but as far as I could tell it was a staffing issue, not the employees themselves. Thank you for a fine farewell from Alaska!”

“It's a bit of a drive but if you're looking for prime rib, this is your place to go. ALSO not to outshine the prime rib, but the 6 layer chocolate cake is totally the bomb! Heck, forget the dinner, just go for that cake!”

“This place was amazing! We have been twice so far during our visit to Fairbanks and have had baked potato soup, breakfast burritos, nachos, a brownie, muffin & tea ♥️ It has all been so good. I am vegan and my husband isn’t so it’s always a treat to find a place that’s great for us both. There is a pastry case full of vegan and gf treats & the owner also wrote me a list of other restaurants with vegan options in town. Can’t recommend this place more!”

There is another coffee hut that blends their drinks and they almost seem like a frozen mousse. Anyway, I'm not sure if it's the blender or the amount of time blending the ice. The barista was super friendly helping suggest a fruity drink for my friend that has several weird fruit and berry allergies.”

“Visited one night and it was the only restaurant open in downtown that had moderate pricing and it was packed. Poor waitress had to wait all the tables herself. I went the next day and the food was delicious. I had the fresh spring rolls and drunken noodles. Not spicy at all so if you like heat, you will need to ask them to add more heat.”

“I wanted to take my Granddaughter to a nice sushi restaurant since in our extended family she and I are the only sushi eaters. I would get sushi rolls and share with her from the grocery store but we had to go into Fairbanks for a dental appointment for her so we had a day of having fun. They open at 11:00 which fit my schedule so I decided to go to Kanpai. I ordered a bento box with sushi to "share." It was amazing. I commercial fish in Ketchikan and I can tell when fish was handled correctly; it was. I had her go to the counter to watch how the food was prepared and she loved it. The chef was gracious and deftly demonstrated the preparation for her. My wife doesn't eat raw fish so she got tempura instead and it was excellent. They also gave our granddaughter special training chop sticks that she got to take home! To top it off, the chef made a koala out of an orange for her dessert! Did she ever feel special. I highly recommend Kanpai for a special meal. The bubble wall kept her mesmerized and the playing grand piano added to the fine atmosphere. All the staff were exceptional.”

“I can’t say enough about this place. It helped provide entertainment, great food, and great drinks while we waited for our next Alaskan adventure during our week long visit. I have to give a very special shout-out to Denaeuh. If you get a chance, don’t leave Fairbanks without spending time with her at the bar in Pike’s Landing restaurant. She’s a genuine person with outstanding customer service and hospitality. Her drinks, food recommendations, service, and conversation were excellent! If/when we come back, we will seek out this restaurant and service with Denaeuh. Overall… I highly recommend. It’s a great place!”

“We stopped at Mein Diner with our family who is visiting from out of state, after a day of fishing, after we saw the mobile restaurant was stationed at its own spot. Having eaten there before myself at HooDoo I knew the food was good. We had the Schnitzel Sandwich, Wieners with sauerkraut, and the Käze Spätze. So much good food and the service was amazing! I am originally from The Netherlands and grew up near the German border and eating German food at our German friend’s home down the street. This brought back memories. Thank you for the pretzels, we definitely enjoyed those as well as soon as we got home and we got enough left for lunch tomorrow. Konrad, you are a gem to the community. Such a special gem to find close to home. We've gone 3 times in the last 4 weeks.
The staff was so friendly, we talked about Thailand and what it's like to visit. I wait in my car for the food to be ready (typically only 5-15 minutes, fast!) and they brought it to my car everytime which was super sweet of them.
