“Just enjoyed the Nutella & banana & cheesecake and blueberries crepes! So fresh and delish!! Highly recommend”
“The best burger in town is at a Korean restaurant. Gotta try the KC burger!!”
“Absolutely wonderful experience!! Food was so incredibly good- so fresh and delicious! Service was on par! Very friendly and welcoming! We loved every bit of our meal and time at Soba. 100% recommend!!”
“We visited on a whim and despite it being packed and busy, we were seated promptly and received wonderful service. The food was very delicious as well.”
“Watching the guys cook is a blast! The restaurant is clean, the service is attentive, and your dinner comes with a show as it's cooked.
This place is great for business meetings, graduations, anniversaries and important events like that, but if you're feeling fancy for just a normal meal you can also come here.”

“Had excellent meals and plenty.
Service was great. My wife had left her bag an the staff placed it in a safe place until she retrieved it. This was very much appreciated.
Thanks again”
“I’d never tried this place, though heard of it on multiple occasions. Tonight I placed an order through DoorDash, for jerk chicken, baked mac n cheese, and cabbage. Right away the owner (I assume?) called and let me know the jerk chicken available was just a few pieces and there were dry. He offered me to supplement it for a new protein. I picked opted for fried chicken. So right away, customer service is on point. 10/10 The food arrived and I can tell you this is my new favorite spot. The cabbage was something from a dream, as was the chicken. I haven’t tried the other stuff yet, but will shortly. Though I’m the only one in my family who likes spicy food, you can bet I’ll be going there regardless. WOW!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BEST Food in Fairbanks, Alaska! I recently dined at Jazz Bistro On 4th and was blown away by the experience! Chef Tony is absolutely fabulous, and his culinary skills are exceptional. Every dish was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. I can’t recommend Jazz Bistro enough — a true gem in Fairbanks.”
“The customer service was excellent, the food was well reasonably priced and there was something for everyone. The food was really great and it came out to the table quickly. When we came in, the owner greeted us and opened the doors for my elderly grandmother. 10/10 would eat here again. I’m telling all my friends to drop by and get something here now on.”
“It's been a while since I've been back here, and that's a shame, but with 23 Thai restaurants in the Fairbanks area, I try to vary it some. Going back today reminded me how consistently good they are with their dishes, and how they make the best tom yum I have had (I'm keeping track with a spreadsheet). Going there today was a good reminder that I need to go back far more frequently than I do. The atmosphere inside is more utilitarian than aesthetically designed , but they know what they are doing when it comes to making food. My only complaint is the use of Styrofoam and plastic to-go containers making direct contact with hot food in takeout. We would prefer paper-based containers, or a parchment paper barrier to minimize contact with the plastic.”
“Our favorite place in town. Always super friendly and fast service.”

“THE local hangout in Fairbanks; the cool place local Alaskans want to be for after work beer or to show off to visiting friends and family; the kind of “chill” place that is cool with the younger crowd but comfortable for the older crowd.
Variety of food trucks visit to get your grub on and the beer is first rate.
I don’t know if it would add or detract from HooDoos to have a full pub/tavern kitchen and paved parking lot, so I also don’t know if that’s what is missing…or perhaps it’s just right!”
“Can't comment on the food but Alexandra the bartender absolutely made the last night of our hard earned vacation worth it. It was undoubtedly busy, but she was hustling with CVS receipt long tickets, handling the bar and two restaurants by her self. To the management, you needs a barback. Several tables were upset with service but as far as I could tell it was a staffing issue, not the employees themselves. Thank you for a fine farewell from Alaska!”
“OK. This might be a little long/different type post from me but I want to give a big plus to a waitress. We were in Fairbanks Alaska at The Pump House. We were taken care of by not just a good, not a great but my all time best server I have ever had. Her name is Jenna. I want to say that she is my all time best and favorite waitress in my 77 years of being. The food and ambiance were also good. But Jenna was fantastic Thank you Jenna”
“Easy parking in very large non paved lot. Zero wait with reservations. Quiet and relaxed cozy atmosphere. Emily was our wait person and was amazing! Very attentive, friendly, and personable. Checked on us frequently and was a pleasure to chat with. Menu selection was extensive. Salad bar was average in selections but well tended to and everything available was very fresh and tasty. Pricing was, IMO quite high but considering our location in the interior of Alaska not unexpected. Overall the quality of our meals were good but not equal to the prices. Considering the limited “fine dining” options in Fairbanks I consider this restaurant a win and definitely worth a visit.”
“Over the last few weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed investigating the menus at the Princess Hotel, but I owe you all an apology for taking so long to make a post about it. You have about one month until they close for the season and you need to put them into your regular rotation.
I have eaten twice at the Edgewater, once at Trackers, and last night out on the deck.
I have had the gnocchi twice because it is so good, a chicken sandwich, and halibut with a curry coconut sauce. And every time except for my lunch visit I have gotten the rosemary rolls - I am going to have withdrawals from those this winter - amazing!!
They maintain a large garden behind the restaurant - more on that in a minute - and the the menu features the garden including fresh salads. Last night we had a kale salad with sesame dressing that I will be back for. I have topped off a few of the meals with their amazing blueberry Baked Alaska. Share it as it is a large portion! Or don't share it because it is so good!
Oh, and the garden? Last night we planned to get there early for dinner so as to take a stroll. We went from the parking lot back out towards the road and then into the trails on the property. We went all the way around the back, which included a wonderful little tour of the beautiful garden plots, a good way to work up both an appetite and an appreciation of the freshness to come.
The chef, Christopher, is so enthusiastic about what he has done there with the menu this summer. Bonus if you get to chat with him for a few minutes. His joy in what he does is reflected in all of the amazing waitstaff that I have had in my visits. I now have to figure out how to fit a few more dinners into my budget before they close in mid September.”
“Great buffet breakfast, plenty of choices. Reindeer sausage is on the menu, really tasty. They seat you. Located inside the Westmark hotel. We had super good service. The waitress(SHOUT OUT) was very informative, a wealth of info. She was glad to see us when said we were from Maryland. She was born in Maryland.”

“the food is always good but heaven forbid you want any salad dressing with your salad.... wife and I have ordered salads several times from them request dressing each time and it never comes... aside from that great place good food and fast service just no dressing with your salads”
“This was a stop on our trip to the arctic. I am not going to be negative on a review for a restaurant like this one. There are many folks thankful that it is there. It has a lot to offer from a meal to gas and maybe a souvenir. Truckers appreciate the location and a chance for a break from the road.”

“The atmosphere is great with the bubble wall and player piano, etc. The bathrooms are clean. The seating is comfortable and adjustable. We have come here many many times since they opened. They had been our favorite sushi place in town. Toyko Express was another favorite before they sadly closed. However, our last two experiences were not the best, and we will be giving our future business to others: Ninja, Aijimi, Irashai, Seoul Gate...and so many more options in our little town! We are going to have a great time not returning here, so good luck, Kanpai.”
“Nice environment, yummy ciders (blueberry spice and strawberry lime)!”

“Mocha Moose Express is seriously my most favorite hut in Fairbanks 🫎😭💕☕️ I’m so happy they now have 2 locations! 🤗 The baristas are always so friendly + personable, the food + drinks are always spot on, and the possibilities for drink combos are endless! I always have to look on Mocha Moose Express’ page/stories for drink ideas, because they can make pretty much anything you want 🤪🤗💕 HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a yummy pick-me-up! ⭐️”
“Best coffee shop in Fairbanks hands down. I have 4 gift cards in my wallet to other places around town and never use them because backwoods coffee is perfect every single time. I order a 16oz white mocha, half sweet, extra shot everywhere I go and backwoods tastes the best!! Most coffee shops in town are entirely too sweet. Glad they have two locations now 😀”
“Thank you Lulu’s for supporting local teachers and their classrooms with your monthly specials! With your help I will be able to take my class on field trips this May without having to ask for extra funds from families. Our school is closing this year, so it will be great to be able to give my students some amazing memories. Thank you for your support! Also, the coffee and bagels are the best!”
“Our favorite place in town. Always super friendly and fast service.”
“All Alaska wild caught salmon goodies! salmon hot dogs, salmon jerky, king salmon & sockeye smoked, salmon steaks, jap&chzhuntersticks. King Crab legs and Ikuru caviar”

“Batter & Crumb is an amazing bakery. I reached out to have my wedding cake made here and had such a wonderful experience! The owner has the best customer service, she listened and was proactive in helping me create my dream cake. She did such a fantastic job and it was absolutely delicious!! 10/10”
“My mom and I would fly into Fairbanks from South Florida again to enjoy this cafe’s food, drink and desserts (and not to mention the incredible customer service). One morning I was having a rough start, I went here for the first time and my cloud was lifted! Such a refreshing place to sit at or get to go”
“Absolutely love Grinders! The team is always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating — no matter how busy they are. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure my order is just the way I like it. The kindness and positive energy they serve with my drink and breakfast is what keeps me coming back. Truly one of my favorite local spots!”
“A very tasty brunch spot serving sandwhiches, scones, cookies, and more. Plenty of delicious, local ingredients and the staff are very nice. It would be amazing if there could be a way to have sandwiches on Saturday, as right now (tasty!) calzones are offered instead. The homemade lemonade is delicious!”
“Awesome beers and incredible ciders. The bartenders are knowledgeable and offer great suggestions. Great vibe in general and lots of seating! They have rotating food trucks too!”
“Just left this location on Valentines Day from out of state and food was impeccable! So grateful this restaurant took my reservation last week via Facebook messenger. Effortless! Great service!”
“Absolutely amazing staff and always good food! 10 outta 10 would recommend any time!”
“Best sushi and Japanese restaurant in town. I’ve had many of their special rolls, bibimbop, donburi, Katzu chicken, and ramen. You know it will be good when a simple miso soup is to die for. Never disappoints! This our new favorite spot.”
“What an awesome experience! We sat at the bar and met the owner/bartender/chef Larry. We each had a couple of cocktails and deviled eggs, which were amazing. We met some locals as well and all the food looked great. Thanks you Larry and locals for a great time”
“Sinfully Sweet Treats. 🍰🧁🎂 I ordered a number cake for the first time for my daughter's 12TH birthday party from Sinfully Sweet Treats. I must say from the start, she was very eager to take on the challenge to create the most perfect tween cake. 🥹 I also would like to say she replies in a timely manner & is very sweet! 🤗 I came to her with a picture from Pinterest, and the way she exceptionally outdid herself for my daughter cake is very heartwarming. 💖 This is the most beautiful cake I have ever laid my eyes on. And the cake tasted WONDERFUL by the way. The filling in the middle with strawberries and cream was SO GOOD! Everything was edible, besides the butterflies pieces. My family is still thinking about how good this cake was. 😋 I got a 10/10 on the cake from everybody that attended my daughter's birthday party. 🥳 Some even asked where I got the cake made, because it blew them away how GORGEOUS this cake was! The picture doesn't even do justice for just how breathtaking the cake was in person. 🤩 You would have had to see it in person. ✨️ I highly recommend Sinfully Sweet Treats to everybody, if you need a beautiful birthday cake created. 💯”
“Thank you to the staff and patrons of Tony's Sports Bar for the great time last Sunday! We were visiting from Wisconsin and stopped in to cheer on the Packers💚💛We felt very welcomed and received tips to visit the classic car museum which my FIL loved!! Alaska was a bucket list trip for us, but if we ever return, I would love to stop in at Tony's again!!”

“I wanted to take my Granddaughter to a nice sushi restaurant since in our extended family she and I are the only sushi eaters. I would get sushi rolls and share with her from the grocery store but we had to go into Fairbanks for a dental appointment for her so we had a day of having fun. They open at 11:00 which fit my schedule so I decided to go to Kanpai. I ordered a bento box with sushi to "share." It was amazing. I commercial fish in Ketchikan and I can tell when fish was handled correctly; it was. I had her go to the counter to watch how the food was prepared and she loved it. The chef was gracious and deftly demonstrated the preparation for her. My wife doesn't eat raw fish so she got tempura instead and it was excellent. They also gave our granddaughter special training chop sticks that she got to take home! To top it off, the chef made a koala out of an orange for her dessert! Did she ever feel special. I highly recommend Kanpai for a special meal. The bubble wall kept her mesmerized and the playing grand piano added to the fine atmosphere. All the staff were exceptional.”

“I can’t say enough about this place. It helped provide entertainment, great food, and great drinks while we waited for our next Alaskan adventure during our week long visit. I have to give a very special shout-out to Denaeuh. If you get a chance, don’t leave Fairbanks without spending time with her at the bar in Pike’s Landing restaurant. She’s a genuine person with outstanding customer service and hospitality. Her drinks, food recommendations, service, and conversation were excellent! If/when we come back, we will seek out this restaurant and service with Denaeuh. Overall… I highly recommend. It’s a great place!”

“We had the opportunity to have a photobooth at Big Daddy’s in 2023. The staff was accommodating to make sure we had a great location for our clients. They moved tables and chairs to make our job of capturing the fun easy. Thank you! We highly recommend having an event with this long time Fairbanks family owned restaurant. Also the food is amazing!!!”
“Interesting atmosphere that displays Alaskan tradition. My pasta wasn’t very good. Was expecting a mouthful of flavor based on the description in the menu. However, very bland; that goes for the cheese and grilled chicken.
Our waitress was great. She was the highlight of the visit.”
