“2/24/2024 After waiting patiently for a table and then another 40 minutes on our food, the food was wonderful, cooked exactly the way we ordered. I understand it was a Saturday night, but we were there at 5pm. Then waitress kept coming and just standing looking at us, she would take empty plates and glasses, that part was ok too. but when she came back after we paid and insinuated, we needed to leave because we had been sitting there an hour and that was long enough. I told her we were still eating and trying to enjoy the drinks we ordered. We had only gotten our food 2o minutes prior to this. needless to say, we hurried and finished so we could give up those 2 precious spots. Probably won't go back and if I do it won't be for a 1st date like that was.”

“I just returned from having Sunday lunch with a group of 10 at your location.The five men sat at one table and the ladies at another. Even though their orders were taken first, our food came first by about 45 minutes or longer. The waitress went to the ladies table and asked were they ready for their tickets like the restaurant needed the table. Somewhere along the line their order did not make it to the kitchen. Thirty minutes later the ladies were served and the men had to sit and wait for them. We were all given a discount on our tickets and that was appreciated but no one ever said they were sorry. That would have gone a long way. Everyone makes mistakes, even restaurants, but an apology . That would have been nice.”

“We rented the party room at JW Steakhouse May 3,2025 for our 40th class reunion and it was 10/10. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Didn't have to wait long on our food and the waitress kept our drinks full. Very nice staff and would recommend this Steakhouse for your special events.”

“Found this spot by accident last year and LOVE it. The owner is super friendly but professional. Has the best coffee I’ve had anywhere in town. Love the fact they have vegetarian and vegan options, considering that’s extremely difficult to find in this part of the world. My kids love coming and looking through their Pokémon cards and the amount of events they host is spectacular. 10/10 recommend!”

“Never judge a book by its cover! We are new in Decatur, trying a couple different local places here and we decided to try this coffee place, what a pleasant surprise! Coffee is delicious , had the hot almond joy and my husband the same flavor in frap, the sandwiches were also fresh and taste! The building almost turned us off, is old and it can use some tlc outside, inside is kind of artsy decor, the atmosphere is calm, it can also use some chandeliers or have the lights fixtures cleaned to brighten up the room a bit. Overall a place to enjoy good coffee and grab a deli style sandwich. I recommend this place and we will be back.”

“I went through the drive thru tonight which was the first time I have ate at a slim chickens. I ordered my chicken strips grilled and they were really good. They weren't over cooked or over seasoned. The fries were tasty too. I looked at the menu and they have great family deals for fair prices. Although this place was wrapped around the building with people the staff was so pleasant, polite, and efficient. I don't leave many reviews but thank you for the good food and service, please keep up the good work.”

“Giving a 5 Star for everything because my girlfriend and I love this Olive Garden, and enjoy our regular waitress that takes care of us VERY WELL.

However, during our recent visit on July 12th. We were seated in Gideon’s section (Not our regular waiter). Gideon was the most rude, unenthusiastic, and forgetful server I’ve ever encountered at any restaurant.

He insulted mine and my girlfriend’s age after asking how old we were, which I thought was an invasive and odd question. Asked what I studied in college and said it’s “For geeks”. And he just kept on asking VERY invasive questions after I told him that my girlfriend and I are just trying to have a silent dinner and not do a Q&A. We never got refills from him (A different waitress had to get our refills), he forgot about our to go boxes TWICE. And kept on adressing me as “Bro”. I do not recall being his brother.

As a server myself, I was just astonished at the HORRIBLE attitude from him. Extremely disappointed.”

Even though the line is almost out the door every day. It moves quickly because of their great serving and cooking team. The flavor & tenderness of their smoked chicken can’t be matched by anyone else. With a large selection of sides, you can get just about any combination you like. Don’t forget an order of deviled eggs.”

I’m a chef that operated a food truck for several years, and worked in pubs and operated smokers in England for 3 years, so I’m a bbq guy to my core. We did an order for takeout tonight. This has been the best bbq I’ve had in north Alabama for quite some time.The pulled pork portion was 8oz and plenty, it was juicy, smoked perfectly, and that vinegar sauce was the cherry on top. The mac and cheese is the truth. Best mac and cheese I’ve had from a restaurant, ever. The potato salad wasn’t my favorite, but personal preference is no reason to dock a star or knock a restaurant in a review. The ladies inside helping were friendly, answered all of our questions, and informed me if I wanted the old fashioned pound cake I’d need to visit the 12th street location, which I will be doing in the near future. What y’all have going on in here is great, the food A+, service A+, the vibes immaculate. We just moved to the area and will most definitely be back to the Beltline location and will be visiting the other locations as well. Thank you for a great dinner tonight.”

“A quick visit yesterday was the perfect cold, soft, sweet treat. Price was fair simple because we had a buy one get one free coupon. Had we not, it would have been about $8.50 per person for frozen yogurt. The quality was really good. I had white chocolate and rice chocolate flavors, with hot fudge. My daughter had the same but with more chocolate chips, cookie dough, Oreo crumbles and chocolate sprinkles. There were lots of flavor and topping options.”

I recommend pork as the safe bet and turkey the same. The Chicken you may like, just texture was off.

We sat at a high top in the bar area and our waitress was the bartender. There were several people at the bar but overall the restaurant was relatively empty but probably normally for a Monday night.”
