“2/24/2024 After waiting patiently for a table and then another 40 minutes on our food, the food was wonderful, cooked exactly the way we ordered. I understand it was a Saturday night, but we were there at 5pm. Then waitress kept coming and just standing looking at us, she would take empty plates and glasses, that part was ok too. but when she came back after we paid and insinuated, we needed to leave because we had been sitting there an hour and that was long enough. I told her we were still eating and trying to enjoy the drinks we ordered. We had only gotten our food 2o minutes prior to this. needless to say, we hurried and finished so we could give up those 2 precious spots. Probably won't go back and if I do it won't be for a 1st date like that was.”

“One of our favorite places to eat;however, the last couple times we’ve been, they are out of items on the menu. They are also out of what is needed for certain drinks on the menu. Probably won’t be back for a while since there are other places that have items in stock.”

“I just returned from having Sunday lunch with a group of 10 at your location.The five men sat at one table and the ladies at another. Even though their orders were taken first, our food came first by about 45 minutes or longer. The waitress went to the ladies table and asked were they ready for their tickets like the restaurant needed the table. Somewhere along the line their order did not make it to the kitchen. Thirty minutes later the ladies were served and the men had to sit and wait for them. We were all given a discount on our tickets and that was appreciated but no one ever said they were sorry. That would have gone a long way. Everyone makes mistakes, even restaurants, but an apology . That would have been nice.”

“We rented the party room at JW Steakhouse May 3,2025 for our 40th class reunion and it was 10/10. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Didn't have to wait long on our food and the waitress kept our drinks full. Very nice staff and would recommend this Steakhouse for your special events.”

“Never judge a book by its cover! We are new in Decatur, trying a couple different local places here and we decided to try this coffee place, what a pleasant surprise! Coffee is delicious , had the hot almond joy and my husband the same flavor in frap, the sandwiches were also fresh and taste! The building almost turned us off, is old and it can use some tlc outside, inside is kind of artsy decor, the atmosphere is calm, it can also use some chandeliers or have the lights fixtures cleaned to brighten up the room a bit. Overall a place to enjoy good coffee and grab a deli style sandwich. I recommend this place and we will be back.”

Even though the line is almost out the door every day. It moves quickly because of their great serving and cooking team. The flavor & tenderness of their smoked chicken can’t be matched by anyone else. With a large selection of sides, you can get just about any combination you like. Don’t forget an order of deviled eggs.”

We got a crab rangoon type appetizer and it was good, just not exactly what I was expecting it to be in terms of filling. In all my food cost $23.** and I was shocked how much food we actually have! Im really glad we chose to support a small business instead of panda express. Adding an updated version of the side of the menu I didnt see on here.”

We sat at a high top in the bar area and our waitress was the bartender. There were several people at the bar but overall the restaurant was relatively empty but probably normally for a Monday night.”
