“This is an awesome Latin-owned coffee shop, right here in bham. Everyone who works here is always welcoming. And, perhaps most importantly, the coffee is excellent. The shots are consistent and the beans are great. Oscar who manages the store knows his stuff. I always end up getting the horchata latte because it was too good to pass up after I tried it once, but perhaps one day I will branch out. Glad to see the stickers keep growing on the tables :)“

Their flavor add-ons are inventive - the barista suggested their Herbalicious, a blend of lavender, rosemary, mint, and thyme, with vanilla syrup, and it was such a soft, delicate flavor that was sweet, herbal, and delicious, and truly shone through in a creamy oat milk latte, which I did not expect. I tried a couple of their bonbons, and they are well worth the price; the sea salt caramel was gooey, salty, and sweet, while the strawberry lemon is a revelation of flavor. It's an added bonus that the coffee and the other ingredients are sustainably sourced and dietary restriction friendly, the atmosphere and character of the entire place are eclectic and creative, and the baristas were so patient and helpful. Truly, a must-see place for anyone wanting a unique and beautiful experience in the Magic City!“

“I liked the Mayan coffee and the stoic service. I don't know what happened to my hearing that day but I had the hardest time understanding the barista. She took it in stride and after my third fumble she started speaking with an accentuation that bordered on the theatrical and a smile that showed more empathy than frustration or sarcasm. I guess a white beard comes with benefits.“

“Lively! I am not from Birmingham but I am a coffee lover. From Orlando but, I wanted to see something new for a change from the normal city life. Noticed there were allot of coffee shops here than in any city I’ve been to which made it hard to decide on which one I liked to visit more but something about the atmosphere caught my attention. It was quite which made it easier to work. The environment even though it was quiet it felt inviting. The glass made allot of natural light come in and I loved being able to enjoy a good view while working. I definitely would come again even if it’s to relax. Unfortunate I’m not from here. Anyone who enjoys coffee I highly recommend to come here.“

“Stopped into Santos Coffee & Bar Uptown for a quick breakfast snack while attending a convention at the BJCC, and it was a nice little find. I grabbed the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant — it was good, warm, and hit the spot, though not the best I’ve had.

What really stood out, though, was the strawberry smoothie — excellent flavor, refreshing, and made just right. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and need a quick boost.

Friendly staff, good vibe, and a convenient spot to escape the convention bustle for a few minutes. Solid 4 out of 5 stars from me — and I’d go back for that smoothie alone.“

I don’t know why I have not stopped here sooner but like everything else God’s timing is right on time.. the ambience and the service the coffee is amazing the staff is so very sweet this was my first visit and I order an Iced latte and it was absolutely amazing .. the cherry on top was the staff ..they were so kind patient and I can appreciate gratitude with great customer service.. “My first time to order a coffee at the "new" Starbucks inside the remodeled Target. Starbucks was moved over to what was once the small in-store snack/cafeteria and it also got a nice remodel,. I ordered a regular coffee and the server asked if I wanted a flavor with it so I asked for vanilla and the drink was great - I really liked it as I have found most "regular" coffees in Starbucks are too bitter for my taste and required me to add much cream. This new Starbucks is nice, clean and lighting is great.“
