She was pleasant, smiled, joked with us & checked on our needs on a regular basis. When we were done eating, we asked if she would take our picture with the car and she said sure! We asked for a couple of angles and she happily did it! The food was excellent, came quickly and there was a lot of it. We enjoyed everything about our experience!”

“We were in GS late June, early July. The only place on my list to go was Wacked Out Weiner! The name alone caught my attention, but it was definitely the prices that really pulled me in! Sadly, we arrived right at closing and I didn’t want to go in with 8 people. That’s just not who we are. We went next door and ate (it was awful), but when we came out, the owner greeted us on the sidewalk. We explained that we came by to visit but it was 7:03! He looked at us like we were crazy and said “YOU SHOULD’VE CAME IN!. I would’ve opened the door for you.” Then, he asked if we wanted to come in and look around. The door was locked and the lights were off and he didn’t even hesitate to open the doors and let us come in and look! He was the most genuine person we have met in the years we’ve been visiting GS! We told him we would be back and the next night, we did! He was hilarious, polite and down to earth! He genuinely cares about his customers! Wacked Out Weiner will forever be in our plans when we visit! The food, atmosphere and owners were top notch! Don’t sleep on the Weiner! Find it, load it and swallow it! Ya won’t be disappointed! 🌭”

“The OmG poboy was delicious. Shrimp perfectly fried and super fresh! Even the lettuce and tomato tasted like it came from the garden. The tomato was perfect. I loved the sample of swamp soup, also delicious. I wanted to taste the gumbo, it also did not disappoint! Hush puppies perfectly flavored. Fries and okra fresh. Service was friendly, wait time was appropriate. Highly recommend. It does have an old vibe to the building. I’m guessing it was an Asian restaurant prior. Overall absolutely amazing, it’s definitely on my return restaurants in Foley.”

“If you love true smoked meats and fish, you have to stop by Brookmans. It's a hidden gem just off Hwy 59. He does a great job on salmon and pork chops. Check out his selections from his website and order online ahead of time. Smoking takes longer than cooking so take a little time to plan ahead. Amazing smoked flavors and tender as well.

This is basically a carry out place that has no tables inside. If you can imagine a butcher shop for smoked products. Bring a cooler or order ahead online.

“We had a great dinner at Tide & Table on our last night in the Gulf Shores area. Our experience started with fast and friendly valet parking from Sid outside the entrance to the hotel. Valet parking is complimentary for diners. Our food and service were amazing. We shared the Conecuh Sausage Broiled Oysters as an appetizer. I couldnt resist dessert, and their key lime pie is one of the best I’ve had in the area. We would definitely go back!”

I visited on a Saturday night and they had line dancing lessons. I would think they would have this during the afternoon and not during the night when people just want to drink, listen to good music,and have a good time. The only thing that was great was the service. Cha Cha was one of the best bartenders I've experienced in the area.”

We thoroughly enjoyed each and every morning at Hazels! The people are the friendliest ever and then there’s Mack, what a guy!!!!! He even scaled our omelets down because we couldn’t eat all of it and enjoy the breakfast bar as well! We will make this our first stop next trip down to GS . “I’m giving atmosphere one star — and that’s entirely on the customers, not the staff.
There was the sweetest elderly man working the register, checking on orders and making sure everything was moving along during a very busy lunch rush. He was doing his job with grace and care. Meanwhile, the majority of customers were moaning and carrying on because their food wasn’t out fast enough — making the whole space feel uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing.
If you choose to visit a McDonald’s in a touristy area during spring break lunchtime, a wait comes with the territory. It was also pretty clear they were understaffed. And yet, those employees held it together with patience I’m not sure many people could manage.
These are human beings doing their best with what they have. A little empathy goes a long way — especially when you’re ordering a hamburger and some nuggets. This is not a life-or-death situation.
If you happen to visit this location and see the elderly gentleman at the register — show him some love. Be patient. Be kind. And extend that same respect to everyone working there. They’ve earned it.”

We were a little hesitant at first to bring in a 6 and 8 year old kid after opening the door but there was another family in there as well and I’m so glad we walked in. The egg rolls were amazing (to our surprise), the pork was excellent and our kids finished the burger and all the fries without a complaint. They had happy hour on a Saturday, which is unheard of in Colorado, and the prices were great!

Beer was cold and poured to the top. It was loud, but full of live great music.

This has been our favorite place to eat from Colorado to Alabama!!”

“We love this place. We come often with friends or just us since it’s right outside our neighborhood. When it opened, service was top notch. Lately - not so much. We come about once a week (this is second time this week) and have only ever seen the same server more than once maybe two times. The food is always great! The pickle burger is my favorite! Love the cheese curds too. But the service has been seriously lacking and it is becoming harder to want to come or suggest it to others (which we always do). Almost an hour and a half to get your food out (and not bringing two of the orders), having to ask for drink refills or fresh drinks, waiting 10 minutes to even be asked what you want to drink, or bussing your own table because nothing gets picked up and you need room for the food coming - it all adds up to a poor service experience. The wait staff we’ve had has always been really nice and friendly, they are just not very good about visiting your table to check on you. I’m a diner who only wants the waiter/waitress to come occasionally and even I think they are almost like ghosts here - invisible. I gave an overall 4 ⭐️ because our visits together rate that, but if I were going just by tonight, it would be a 1⭐️ because service has steadily gotten worse.”

“3.82 - Overall, this was a pleasant dining experience for a vacation meal. The warm, fresh chips were a highlight, though the salsa selection was a bit hit-or-miss for my personal taste. While the green salsa was enjoyable, the orange and chipotle varieties featured a unique flavor profile that didn't quite land for me.
​The rice was perfectly fine, though fairly standard. However, the tacos could use a bit of refinement to really stand out. What truly elevated the visit was the excellent customer service—the staff was wonderful. Thank you!”
