“First visit to this location, the location interior and exterior is beautiful. This is a huge restaurant! The fresh made chips are amazing, couldn't stop eating them. I had higher expectations for the menu items, maybe they need more specials? Kids menu was minimal but $7 is great. My salad was bleh. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp fajitas and margarita though! So maybe stick with the staple menu items. Service was good, but not overly amazing or joyful (I felt like she was a little tired and I didn't want to inconvenience her). Overall good visit, just not overly wowed.“

“Just had Analilia’s for the first time today and it was SOO good!!! I got the 3 queso birria taco combo wow. The tacos were filled with meat, the consume was delicious, and the green salsa is AMAZING very different from other green salsas ive tried. 10/10“

“First time trying this location. We’d been going to the one on Greenway for years. After going to another restaurant that had an unorganized staff and no a/c, we decided to drive out here and try this. I’m so glad we did. We walked in and the hostess asked if we wanted bar or restaurant. I said I didn’t care, whichever had the shortest wait. We were immediately seated in a booth in the bar, and our server walked over. Manuel, “Manny,” was an older gentleman and very personable. But best of all, he was efficient and attentive, but not bothersome. He brought extra salsa, extra chips without asking. He brought extra water without asking and before we were empty. He checked to make sure we had everything, and at the end of our meal, he made me a balloon animal. Completely unexpected - a nice touch, I haven’t had a balloon animal since I was a kid. Manny made our night and hands down is the best server we’ve ever had. Superb service that doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Thank you Manny!!!! (And the food was good too.)“

“I’m currently on a mission to find the best chilaquiles in Phoenix, and Canelas Placita is definitely worth mentioning. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos, and the salsa roja estilo Michoacán was the highlight great flavor and authentic taste.

The café de olla was excellent as well, very flavorful and prepared just right. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with good music and friendly customer service.

The only area that could use some improvement is the beans, but overall the food and service were very good.

Canelas Placita is a solid spot if you’re looking for authentic Mexican breakfast options in Phoenix. I’d definitely return.“

“We visited tonight with friends and their adult sons and everything was delicious! We tried the following: fried fish, street tacos, quesabirria tacos, fajitas and the Chile relleno/taco combo. I wish we would’ve taken more pictures but honestly we finished the food too quickly. Once I started taking pictures of the quessabirria there was only 1 taco left. Lol. The menu is huge! There are over 30 burritos and over 30 combos. This is definitely going to become our go to especially with the drive thru opening soon.“

“The tacos were really good and the service was great. The drive thru layout is weird that it shares with dutch bros. The outdoor seating was on a slope but the table and chairs were still balanced. They need to do something about the pigeons.“

“We go for taco Tuesday and the $2 tacos. Beef or chicken. $6 Bean and cheese burrito. They are great for being $2 tacos. Not sure how often I would get them at regular price. Green sauce is awesome! Red is ok but not as good as the green.

I’ve been going for years and plan to keep going.“

“We been going to Rubio's since we lived in San Diego where we lived close to the original location. The food continues to be excellent and tasty. I'm glad the rainbow bowl has been added it is very complex in flavors and is so yummy. The location in Peoria - Lake Pleasant is always clean and the staff very helpful and pleasant.“

“There’s only one employee there that just has a very mono tone, kind of feels like she doesn’t care to be there, besides that, I absolutely love all of the staff. Everyone else is always friendly and welcoming, the food always taste amazing and I’m not waiting forever for my food so I always come back here. I highly recommend this location over any other ones.“
