“I judge a sushi joint by their Sashimi, and their fish is pretty darn good. Anybody can hide bad fish in a cheap roll stuffed with “Krab with a K”. Fake crab is just filler, and often it is used by poor restaurants who just want to sling drinks and blast the music. Sushiholic is different. The vibe is very chill, and their fish is EXCELLENT!“

“I was in Phoenix 3 nights. I went here the first night and was blown away. In all sincerity I would have come back every night but forced myself to try something different the second night. The 3rd night was also great. Miguel and his staff are great. The food was fresh and awesome. The calamari is the best I have ever had. Sushi was great as well and this is the first time I have a combo which every piece was unique. Well done and I will definitely be back.“

“Been craving a good ramen and decided to give this a place a try! WOW!!! I’m not kidding when I say this was the best ramen we have ever had! HANDS DOWN! First, the service was amazing! Ian went out of his way to make our first time there exceptional! Brought multiple sauces for us to use on our small plate starter, (mixed tempura) which was light, and delicious!! He went above and beyond to make our visit special. Service was fast but not rushed! I felt like I was at a 5 star establishment! Now back to this ramen!!! We got the Tonkostu ramen. It was thick and creamy and FLAVORFUL!! Wow. Meat was tender and everything was so yummy! My husband who normally says everything is “aight” said this was really good and definitely the best he’s had and we’ll absolutely be back! Although he ate all his noodles he still brought the left over broth home it was so good! Thank you Ian and Yutaka for such a wonderful experience and meal for our Friday date night! “This is by far my favorite sushi place. Don't be fooled by the hole-in-the-wall vibe. The food is great, the prices are cheap, and most of all I love that the owners are waiting on you and cooking for you. I was afraid this small restaurant might not survive Covid but I'm super happy that they did. Let's all support good quality inexpensive mom and pop restaurants whenever we can!“

“Omakase experience was unreal and unexpected. Every fish was fresh and had the same texture as if we were eating it in Japan or Taiwan. They even had fish from Yuma which was a surprise. The chef made mouth watering combinations to highlight the fish/eel/uni and we definitely ordered another round of our favorites after the omakase. Overall pleasantly surprised! Don’t let the location fool you!! It’s a gem of a sushi place.“

“Their black garlic ramen is so freaking awesome. Their appetizers are all super flavorful as well. The drinks are always strong and well mixed. Some people have said that the service is slow, but typically there's very few workers and they make everything to order. It's probably not the place to go in a hurry. But if you want really delicious freshly prepared food, it's worth the wait.“

Their house special yakisoba noodle is my favorite too ! Sometimes I try something different and it always surprises me .one time my child spilled his drink and dropped food on the floor .I felt really bad ,but the waiter was very patient and caring ,not upset at all ! I am finally traveling to Phoenix with them and look forward to eating here frequently during my stay. “Love the sushi, they have a huge variety. The sushi comes around on a conveyor belt like thing and you choose what you like or you can order from full menu. Only downside of all the times we've been there is it's crowded. They could use more space to seat customers and no where to really stand and wait. Everything else is wonderful.“

“We arrived with no waiting. We were seated right away and actually got to choose where we wanted to sit. There really wasn't a bad seat in the house. Our server was Zack and he did great and even took time to talk sports with us. He made the visit more personable. We got a couple of appetizers like the meat balls, and the Edamame. I ordered the fish and chips which was a healthy portion. BBQ chicken flat bread was very tasty. And the salad was refreshing. Very enjoyable. Good service and support from the staff and even got a couple of chances to visit with the manager. This is a great place to dine and or even have a business meeting. But overall, good service and vibes in here! Easy parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. No bathroom inside (I think it’s outside).“

“I love Gogi, me and my wife drive up from Tucson just to eat here often. We get the bento boxes, the sweet and spicy wings and their extra spicy Korean wings every time! They are hooot but soo tasty , they are worth the sweat. The owner and his staff are always so polite with smiles. Recommend 10/10 for locals and visitors.“
