“Found this hidden gem by chance while driving around Tsawwassen Mills. We were looking for something with rice and noodles, and this one came on the signboard. The menu is pretty good, covers all basic Japanese food you can find in Vancouver, and taste is great. I will say is a comfort food for Japanese food lovers. The highlight was sushi tower, with tuna, salmon, ebi, imitation crab meat, avocados with special sauce. Ambience is quiet and spacious, and the staff were amazing, attentive and polite. It was a good experience overall. Thank you Kamome staff!“

“Absolute wast of money, spent over 50$ on their pre packed sushi to go, and when we opened it up (after already leaving the mall) i was overpowered with the sent of mold. So also a health hazard as we got this to share with our toddler I’m so glad I was able to notice the mold before he ate any of it. Will definitely not be going back there again. Not at all impressed :/“

“We love this Japanese restaurant for the high food quality, high staff quality, reasonable prices in today's market & location! Today, I tried the Nigiri Lunch and loved it! My husband had the double meat chicken teriyaki and some of mine cause it looked so tasty, and it truly was scrumptious ! We started with the Crae crae roll (shared). In my Nigiri lunch, I upgraded the salmon to sockeye, one dollar more, but worth it! The miso soup was perfect for us as we watch our sodium and they only use low sodium soya sauce! The combination of food, service & cost is why they get 5 stars! Any staff we saw were very friendly & said hello & goodbye. Customer service is top notch! Aside note, their green tea is one of the best we've enjoyed, too!“

“We wanted to try something new and we did. Nobi Nobi is a cute eatery in the Coppersmith mall, next to Tim Horton. When we walked up, we almost went into Tim's instead of Nobi Nobi. The waitress wanted us to order our meals before sitting down. Above the cashier is a screen filled with sets. There were chicken, beef and unagi sets. Sets included a bowl of rice, soup and side dishes. I chose the chicken and my wife chose the unagi. We didn't have to pay for our order but was directed to an empty table. It was a pretty busy place. With less than 10 tables, this place was buzzing until closing time. When our sets came, we were impressed with the tray. Everything neatly organized and appetizing. We couldn't wait to dig in. The taste was just right. My chicken teriyaki was delicious, along with miso soup, salad with peanut dressing, a piece of Daikon and agadeshi tofu. Only improvement I see is that the waitress can refrain from speaking mandarin to customers who think this place is Japanese. They also have a frequent eaters' club for you to collect stamps.“

“So impressed with the high standard of food and service. One of us ordered the Essential Tasting Menu and the other ordered a la carte. We were offered a guava gin sour in celebration of their 1 year anniversary. It should be a signature drink for Torake, just suggesting.? Would recommend the foie gras aburi and the salmon oshi was supreme. The entire experience was outstanding.“

“I have dined in and ordered take-out from Myomi Sushi several times over the past couple of months. I absolutely adore their sushi and lunch boxes. The staff is consistently fantastic, even during busy times, and the restaurant maintains a pleasant and clean atmosphere. The value for the quality of food is excellent. However, parking can be a bit tight, so I suggest arriving early. Also, making a reservation in advance is highly recommended.^__^“

“Stopped in here before a round of golf. Didn't really know what to expect as I was just looking for a place to eat on my way to the course. It's a small restaurant from what I could see. Maybe 5 or 6 tables(?). It looked like it is a small family run restaurant. There were two people in the kitchen.I ordered the Tsawwassen box and it was really good. There was a lot of food and the sashimi was fresh and very delicious. The surprise was that the salmon was wild salmon and the tuna was a very nice cut, not the usual big mushy cut of fish to make up for the lack of quality.“

“Not many places in town get sushi right, as in Japan, but this place nails it. It's usually the quality of the rice that makes the difference. Soft, not too packed and well balanced seasoning. Quality of fish is great, they used wild sockeye in the Maki trio for 13.50. Very good value.“

“Otaru is in my neighbourhood and I invited my friend’s family (2 adults, 2 boys) to come join me for lunch on a school holiday (Monday Oct 2, 2023) . I walked in at 12 noon. There were 2 tables of customers before me, and 3 tables got the “reserved” sign. Luckily, we got seated at the larger table by the window. Their menu is impressively diverse, so many different items to choose from. We ordered sashimi, soba, a deluxe roll and a kids sushi plate to try a variety of things. We thought we might need to order more since we had 3 adults but we were actually quite full! I was impressed by how thick the sashimi slices were cut and they were all so tasty and fresh. That speaks quality! I also like the broccolis on the soba which had lots of beef! Will definitely recommend! ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: Sushi rolls“
