Campfire
“We eloped yesterday in the desert and drove into Carlsbad to have a relaxing day near the beach. We have heard such great things from a close friend about Campfire so it was a no brainer where we would eat dinner. We had no idea how fantastic of an experience we were in for, or how insanely delicious the dishes and mock-tails would be, and lastly how the service and hospitality would be so beyond that it would bring us to tears. We felt so special and honestly cared for by our waiter Zach and even the management. Being that it was the day after our elopement they went to beautiful lengths to make me and my wife feel special. There are no words to capture how emotional that was for me and her. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Campfire and Zach will always be a part of our wedding story!Thank you thank you thank you for being beautiful people!! We hope to make it back there one day! Maybe an anniversary trip! ”
“Really good beer and great selection of different brews . Great atmosphere to sit and relax and enjoy a drink with friends . Big shout out to Bill and Mathias for guiding us in our selections”
“Great food and service but they need to do something about the hostess stand location. It is very awkward and there is nowhere to stand when waiting for a table. I moved forward and four groups cut in front of me since the hostess did not ask who was next in line, she just looked at someone else and took their information.”
“Wow! Today was my first time here. I eat vegan as much as possible but don't really care for vegan cheese, so I tried it here with no cheese at all. It was delicious and made perfectly.”
“The Food and service were amazing! The gnocchi appetizer is made from scratch every morning. So worth the calories! The duck confit was prepared perfectly. My husband Loved his pheasant dish and said it was so good! We're from out of town but would return to eat here next time we're in San Diego.”
Restaurants by Cuisine
“You can't go wrong with any item here. We ordered a range of items from Mopu Tofu, Trio Kung Pao, Eggplant, to the garlic green beans with shrimp. Everything was so good! The lady we picked up the takeout from was so sweet and accommodating. I cannot wait to return!!!”
“Took my group out for a work dinner. They were busy, we made a same day reservation on the patio. Service was top notch. The food selection was very good. Most of us were looking for good seafood options and found it here. The price was pretty reasonable as well, in my opinion, for this level of quality prepared food. We enjoyed it and would go back.”
“Lived in North County since 1998. I have never been to this restraunt and its a shame. The food was very good the prices were decent and the staff was friendly. We sat outside and the heaters work. I cant wait to share this place with friends and family.”

“I've only eaten here once, but it was fantastic. As you might suspect, this is one of those places where you're going to pay quite a bit, and you're going to do it specifically to be somewhat outside your usual comfort zone. Portions are small but not unreasonably so. Flavors are going to be complex and rather experimental, even unconventional, so only come here when you're in a mindset for being adventurous in eating. That will ensure you have a positive experience and get the most out of your adventure. During my meal with friends I learned that I can absolutely love rhubarb and sweetbreads, two things I've not liked before. But this place turned them into new magic. The halibut and wagyu beef were to die for, but not in any way that I have ever tasted before. I wasn't a huge fan of a bone marrow appetizer (although friends loved it), so the servers gave us a complimentary round of champagne. Pretty fair, if you ask me. Speaking of drinks, the bartenders have as many tasty and unique tricks as the chefs do. Order a gin gimlet even if you don't usually like them. I was hooked. Remember, adventure and new flavor experiences are the reason for coming here, not just to have food made from the best ingredients. Decor is romantic and sort of mid century mod, spacing is cozy but not tight, and the atmosphere is vibrant, perhaps even a little loud. I will definitely be coming back for more new flavors.”

“Food was great! I love ramen and this spot is one of the best I've had! We got the Gonzo black and the tonkatsu along with some takoyaki. The Takoyaki was average, but the ramen was superb! The broth was rich and was very flavorful. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by again!”

“Had our food delivered, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. But the burgers and fries we got were great! I particularly loved the Well D'Onion burger; the spicy ranch had flavorful kick with just a little tingly on the lips, not burning your mouth off. Good stuff. Totally will get food there again as I want to try a shake too.”
“Food is fantastic, and spice levels are spot on. I believe the owner has greeted us on multiple occasions and he's extremely friendly. Great atmosphere, milkshakes, and service! Definitely will be back many times. They also have military discount which is always nice to hear of the support!”
“I love vegan food especially when it's out of this world amazing, there's a reason why this is called express and not like the other Plot. The food is alright at this one, fries are great but the truffle sauce needs a rethink. The crunch wrap is good but mainly full of lettuce. The Chicken Bites are pretty yummy but I don't care for any of the sauces. So some good and sucky things here, I honestly rather go to the other one that's a restaurant, it's better with more choices.”
“Handels, a local ice cream parlor, offers a delightful experience with its charming ambiance and high-quality offerings. The establishment exudes a sense of community and familiarity upon entry, making patrons feel right at home. The ice cream itself boasts exceptional quality, with a range of flavors that cater to various palates. Each scoop is crafted with care, evident in its rich and creamy texture. While the prices may be slightly higher than average, the quality justifies the cost. However, it’s worth noting that the limited seating can sometimes lead to overcrowding during peak hours, impacting the overall experience. Nevertheless, for those seeking top-notch ice cream in a cozy setting, Handels is a solid choice.”

“Whenever I see a mcconnells ice cream store, I've got to stop by and get me some haha. This location is very clean and offers a variety of flavors and samples. Easy access to park or sit outside. I was helped by a friendly worker who was by her self but took care of everything and there was no wait. I chose the small size but I like how I can pick two flavors. I went with earl grey lavender and my gf got strawberry & shortbread cookie. The plus side is you can get a free cone on top. Also they were giving out free cookies which was awesome! I recommend trying mcconnells”
“before you get impatient about waiting an hour for pizza , think about the time you are ordering it at. Also ITS WORTH THE WAIT ! Everyone is ordering this spot during prime times , because there pizza is just perfect! Never a cold delivery and always a great customer service”
“This place is always a great place to stop by whenever we are in the area. High quality good, service and dessert. Their chicken pot pie is our favorite and any pie or dessert from the bakery is a special treat. Counting the days for us to return to this kitchen restaurant.”
“What a great dessert! The owners are Italian and offer a wide variety of tasty treats. It is so nice finding a Gelato shop that sells the real deal, and doesn't simply sell mislabeled ice cream.”
“Authentic Italian Bakery! How did I miss this place?! So unassuming, hole in the wall bakery tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. The pictures speak for themselves. Delicious and authentic. Don't come here expecting American style pastries or sandwiches. It's amazing and the quality is there! I've been to Italy, husband is from France so his expectations are always high when it's an European bakery. He loved the Italian sandwich and Italian ham especially. As for the prices, it's on par with the quality, did I hear imported Italian flour?! Yes. Italian family owned bakery where you hear them speaking Italian? Yes. Cute Italian mom and dad hanging out in the bakery? Yes. You can't get more authentic than that. My new favorite local bakery.Kid-friendliness: Yes”
“Kid-friendliness: This place is so amazing everyone always has a smile on there faces and the service is just so good and the food is to die for oh and the pita bread is bommmb!”
“Pleasantly surprised! A very nice date night meal of Caldo de Siete Mares (a special, not on regular menu, with scallops, shrimp, octopus, mussels, calamari, fish and lobster) and steak fajitas. Delightful! Also a nice dessert of passionfruit creme brulee, also excellent.”
“Had a nice time. Friendly server, good food had the sliders. Great combo cheese burger, pull pork and chicken with coleslaw. A salad and Fries. And don’t forget about the beer on tap, can’t decide orders sampler.”
“Ever since moving to Oceanside my family has desperately searched for Italian food as good as our favorite place back home. After trying many restaurants 2051 Cucina is hands down our favorite place and we now eat there regularly. Everything is homemade with fresh, high quality ingredients. We cannot recommend it enough.Pictured - pesto gnocchi, kids mac n cheese, tortellini Parmesan.”
Outdoor Dining
“What a find this place is! The cocktail program is spectacular, extremely unique and well balanced original cocktails coupled with excellent classics.Food is also really tasty and unique with thai inspired dishes. As if Same Same wasn't great enough, they have gluten free dishes and clearly someone is aware of cross contamination in that kitchen, because I have celiac and woke up feeling great which is kind of rare. So BRAVO Same Same. Your staff was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining as well. The decor is also awesome. My husband and I cannot wait to come back and try the whole menu.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and Gluten Free / Celiac friendly”
“Great food and service but they need to do something about the hostess stand location. It is very awkward and there is nowhere to stand when waiting for a table. I moved forward and four groups cut in front of me since the hostess did not ask who was next in line, she just looked at someone else and took their information.”
“I'm wine club official! Tried this spot with a girlfriend who is a regular and I fell in LOVE. Wines are so so so good! Also the staff are amazing, really fun, good conversation. A hidden gem! Highly recommend!”
“Wow! Today was my first time here. I eat vegan as much as possible but don't really care for vegan cheese, so I tried it here with no cheese at all. It was delicious and made perfectly.”
“Excellent Decaf Americano. Definitely the best I've had while visiting San Diego.Chill atmosphere, and personable service.Note: I noticed on the way out that there was a pathway from the main drag. Just look for the metal gate - this makes the shop much easier to access, if you're not coming up from the beach :)”
“Best croissants in town, hands down! The owners are European and their baked goods and quiches made me feel like I was right back in France, eating the perfect croissant!”
“The Food and service were amazing! The gnocchi appetizer is made from scratch every morning. So worth the calories! The duck confit was prepared perfectly. My husband Loved his pheasant dish and said it was so good! We're from out of town but would return to eat here next time we're in San Diego.”
“Great burritos. I tried La Bombs the tri-tip breakfast burrito and the Grand slam. Both burritos were great and reasonably priced. The service was great. The location is a little hard to find but has plenty of parking. Give Sam's a try for a breakfast burrito served all day.”
“I went there today on a recommendation from an IG post and I was a bit skeptical because so far all Cuban restaurants in San Diego are below average. This place is small and has no tables to eat inside but there’s a huge outside eating area. Being Cuban myself I was hoping to have a good experience and to be honest it was a VERY good experience. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and I must say that it’s the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in all of California. I also tasted their black beans and rice and they were delicious. The gentleman running the place was Cuban so we exchanged conversation and he was very nice. My food was on time and nice and hot. I’m planning on returning and trying a few more dishes and see if it will be as good as my first experience, I would recommend this place over Havana Grill or Havana Kitchen,. Give it a try I think you’ll like it.”
“This is a long overdue review for Urban Plates. I do not usually post reviews, however, I have to reward the consistency of outstanding customer service and consistently good food with my feedback. Manager Manny Mejia is always on site greeting guests and making sure all customers have an exemplary experience. I have been coming to Urban Plates for years with my family and friends. I love the Plate Pass program that gives me 20% off of my entire bill including wine/beer. The restaurant is always clean even during their busiest times. When it is peak eating times, you may have to wait for a table but, Manny and his staff will try to make your wait as quick as possible. Finally, let's talk about the food. The beet salad is one of my all-time favorite salads. I also love the chciken tenders which are addictive as are the fries. The steak with chimichurri sauce is delicious. I always leave Urban Plates feeling satisfied and happy that I am able to enjoy tasty food prepared in a healthful way. You owe it to yourself to eat at Urban Plates.”
“Love this spot! I have been here a few times and we hosted our daughters 1st birthday at the Lullabar. She loved it and everyone had a great time. Everything was clean and the decor is beautiful. The play area is so great to let little ones explore and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend for drinks or a birthday party! They even have a nail salon and yoga! A momma must visit for sure!”
“This Himalayan Sherpa cuisine has great food but slow service. It is in a funky location that looks like it may have been a diner, with booths and tables. They decorated the walls with fabric wall hanging that are also for sale. We ate Lamb! This is not the place to come for steak.lol. Lamb! Veges! Naan bread! Delicious food. Just be patient. Slow service and every table was filled. Busy! We enjoyed a vege dish, Nawaeratan Korma, which proved tastier than expected. Veges, including tofu in the most delicious coconut curry sauce. The two lamb dishes we got: Lamb Saag and Lamb Tikka Masala were delightful. Now, we love curry, so we have an appreciation of the flavors. The food is consistently delicious. We have come twice. No issues with the food. The servers run around, taking orders, clearing tables, bringing food, taking payments. There are plenty of people who come in to pick up their TO GO Orders; so that seems to slow down the process for those people dining in. But it is worth it!”
“Nothing but good coming from On A Roll! I started working in the area about 6 months ago and this quickly became my goto lunch spot just about every day. What can I say, I love sandwiches and plenty to choose from at On A Roll. Simple deli atmosphere and I can't help but smile and laugh when talking with Lou and his amazing staff. If you're hungry, go for the Ultimate 9", the Rueben is great (the rye bread is the bomb!), or go for something different like the High Roller. I've tried just about the entire menu and it's nice to go to a sandwich shop with their own style, not the same old same old. Some of the combinations are adventurous and absolutely worth a try so I recommend breaking out of your shell and trying something new.My biggest note is that you always check the special board for the special of the day. Lou has some tasty specials so don't forget to check the board. Sometimes I forget and kick myself once I see what I missed. My final words: Get over to On A Roll and help out a tasty small business that won't destroy your wallet like everyone else!”
“Lived in North County since 1998. I have never been to this restraunt and its a shame. The food was very good the prices were decent and the staff was friendly. We sat outside and the heaters work. I cant wait to share this place with friends and family.”

Ponto Lago
“I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience dining at Ponto Lago last week. From our arrival at the valet with Tom who went above and beyond to walk us to the restaurant and give us recommendations at Park Hyatt, to our greeting from the hostess to our service from Saeid and Norma- everything was incredible. We ordered the- Guavarita which was a Tequila Cocktail with Guava Foam (the guava foam was SO good): $20- Seasonal Fruit Smash which was a Berry Mocktail: $14- Burrata Salad: I don’t remember the price but it was delicious- Local Blue Fin Crudo: I’m pregnant so I couldn’t taste this but my husband loved it- Tenderloin Steak with Chimichurri, Sweet Potatoes Side & Churros for DessertThe entire meal was absolutely delicious. The portions appeared small at first but they were so flavorful and with the various courses, it was actually the perfect amount. Each dish had a phenomenal presentation and we talked about the sweet potatoes and churros for days after- they were THAT good! We’re already looking forward to our next visit to the Park Hyatt Aviara and Ponto Lago. Hoping we get the same staff as they really enhanced our experience!Parking: Valet parking only in front of Park Hyatt Resort”
“Visiting from LA and I would drive down here again just for the sushi. Been eating sushi all my life and the quality and taste of the fish is a 10. Additionally, the Fantasy Roll is, by far, the BEST roll I've had in my life. The Tempura wasn't my favorite, but it was by no means bad.”
“I'm wine club official! Tried this spot with a girlfriend who is a regular and I fell in LOVE. Wines are so so so good! Also the staff are amazing, really fun, good conversation. A hidden gem! Highly recommend!”

“So good!!! I had the burrata pizza and let me just say it was delicious! The pesto was amazing and had a bit of sweetness to it. Very good! The tomato sauce was to die for! Probably the best ever! The crust was delicious and had a nice flavor! Also there is a quite the groovy and cool aesthetic! Bathroom as sparkling!”

“Avo Café was great… So nice to find a fast-food place that can deliver the best Vegan food. We had their classic burger and it was great. The atmosphere is nice and the owners are very friendly and give the good vibes. Highly recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Yea!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat”
“Great service! I had the scallops with polenta and it was so good! The scallops were sweet, the polenta was creamy, and the sourdough bread that was served before the meal was hot, fresh and crunchy. I plan on coming back the next time I'm in Carlsbad.”
“As always, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival and seated immediately (always recommend a rezi just in case). Our server, Angelo, from beginning to end was awesome and friendly. The restaurant is quiet and nicely laid out. The food....amazing. We started with calamari, which is a generous amount, followed by entrees (mine pictured and the wife got the gnocchi), and capped off with crème brûlée. Delicious. Can't wait until next time!”
“Polo Steakhouse continues to impress with its attention to detail and culinary excellence. The addition of New York steak to the menu further enhances the dining experience, offering another delectable option for steak enthusiasts. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, the New York steak is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. Before diving into the main course, indulge in their bread appetizer, a delightful assortment of freshly baked bread paired with artisanal spreads. It's the perfect way to whet your appetite and set the stage for the feast to come.As for the cocktails, they are nothing short of extraordinary. Expertly crafted with premium spirits and innovative flavor combinations, each sip is a journey for the senses. Whether you prefer a classic martini or a unique concoction, the cocktail menu at Polo Steakhouse offers something for everyone. From start to finish, Polo Steakhouse delivers an unparalleled dining experience. With exceptional service, a luxurious atmosphere, and a menu that showcases the finest ingredients, it's a culinary destination that never fails to impress.”
“The chilequilles had outstanding flavor and freshly made tortilla chips. My wife likes chilequilles, and I don't usually prefer them because I don't like soggy chips... However, these chips seemed fresh and crispy despite being in the green sauce. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes (opted for gluten free) were really good especially for being gluten free! There are so many menu options that sounds so good that we definitely have to come back to try them all.The service is great and fast.We dined on the patio with our fur baby where they provided blankets and heaters so we were very comfortable out there.Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten free pancakes!”
“We had already been to the location in uptown Carlsbad and had always wanted to try this location by the beach. The crew members were very courteous and attentive. We were seated at an ocean view location, which was perfect til the screaming kid next to us kept testing the acoustics in the building. The parents had no intention of calming him down. We asked to move to another seat, and we took the option of sitting in the bar area. The outside dining area wasn't available for another hour. Unfortunately, we could periodically still hear the kid screaming, but it wasn't as loud. The food was great! Our waitress was excellent! The seating in the main lobby could've been a little more spacious, and the parking could be an issue if it weren't for the great valet parking. We definitely will be back.”
“Underrated food. The food is awesome, and the actual restaurant is styled as of themed as part if a theme park (80-90s themed) Overall great food and amazing experience.”
“Another great evening at Bob's which we think is the best steakhouse in San Diego County! Food is always perfectly prepared and portions are large. We always split the delicious blue cheese salad which is served on ice cold plates. I ordered the rib eye which came with a giant glazed carrot and a baked potato. My husband had the rack of lamb with the glazed carrot and a baked sweet potato. We ended up bringing enough home for a second meal1 Unfortunately we felt the service was a bit slower than normal and that is normally not the case. We love this restaurant and highly recommend it.”
“Great evening! The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. The drinks were delicious. And the price...perfect! It was our first visit. We will definitely be back. We did the $75 early bird dinner special...and it was!”
“Man it's really gone down in quality and quantity since the last time I visited. I got the spicy chicken which was salty and tasted different then I remember. My so got the new orange chicken. We switched plates. The Orange chicken had a nice orange flavor. I remember when they'd give you enough to share. The lettuce wraps were still good, but they no longer offer the 3 chilies you can mix to you're liking of heat level. I won't be going back anytime soon.”
“Had lunch there today with wife, son, and daughter in law. It was our 4th or 5th visit in the last couple of months. Food and service, as usual, both outstanding! We left for a gelato, and I freaked out, finding out I didn't have my wallet. Went back to restaurant front desk, "no problem, here is your wallet". Whew! Thank you, Thank you - Le Papagayo!!!”
“Went there for lunch with a friend from outta town. The greeting was friendly and the service was professional. Food was great and our waiter was friendly and kept our glasses full. I highly recommend Olive Garden if you haven't been there but if you have then go back for their quality food and service.”
“Great service! I had the scallops with polenta and it was so good! The scallops were sweet, the polenta was creamy, and the sourdough bread that was served before the meal was hot, fresh and crunchy. I plan on coming back the next time I'm in Carlsbad.”

“Ambiance - chill place ans love the wine selection Service- fast and friendly Food- great concept..52 wines to taste ans different sizes and price. They also do special events and feature a winery each week.”

“Taco Shop 101…. The iconic idealism of what a SoCal taco shop is…. Great food… Decent pricing… Good variety of choices… Authentic taste… Great taco shop vibe… Winner winner taco combo dinner. The taco shells were on point crispy, light and had great bite. the meat was seasoned well. Great amount of cheese and lettuce… The beans were just perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The rice was classic mexican rice taste and was not dry or flavorless. The enchiladas were delicious and the sauce had a perfect mix of tomato and seasoning. The breakfast burrito was big and was packed full of flavor. Plenty of seating… Drive thru.. Fast ordering.. Quick service… Close to beach… This is a great classic taco shop spot.”
“Fast service and open late.Edit: Additionally, this specific Jack in the Box seemed to cook the food the best compared to all other Jack in the Boxes we had experienced recently, surprisingly. And this was late at night, when the staff was still fairly busy on a late shift. The food was extra delicious and all details were done to satisfaction.”

“Really yummy tacos. Good tequila though, overpriced a little bit after looking up the price of the bottle I was drinking I realized I paid for an entire bottle after only two shots lol”
“Spent my bday at the beach. Had dinner right before sunset at Dini's. Atmosphere was great, family friendly, and view of ocean across the street. Food was excellent, had the blackened chicken pasta. Glad we found this place for dinner. Will certainly be back when in town.”

Sushi Taisho
“Food was great and the female wait staff were so nice but the male kitchen staff made my friend and I quite uncomfortable with so much staring at one point it seemed all of them were out in the front and were staring so much. No hate to the restaurant but i’d like to comment on it because this sort of stuff can be very uncomfortable for women I’m just trying to enjoy a meal and don’t want men staring for no reason.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Unreal. UNREAL. I cannot believe how amazing their GF bread tastes - will definitely be ordering more. I have yet to find a GF bread that satisfies me like regular bread used to. UNTIL NOW! So grateful. ”
“Sugar moon is amazing I have been coming here with my mom since before it even had seating. They have pastries, boba, and a ramen wall.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp at the entrance”
“Please serve bigger scoops for what people are paying for is all I'm saying respectfully so. I paid $9 for two tiny scoops wasn't enough for myself and a baby. So had to end up giving my rations to the baby which was mostly all of the ice cream. I'll try again another time in hopes of good changes.”
“This is the perfect spot to satisfy your hunger, a true California classic conveniently located right off the freeway. With ample parking and a drive-through option, it's a super convenient stop. Although the drive-through line can sometimes be lengthy, the quality here is consistent with other In-N-Out locations I've visited. Plus, there are gas stations nearby for a quick refill before hitting the freeway again.”
“Always like to take a bike ride to this location. Sugar free vanilla latte is my favorite. Have had some other biscuits and bagels and are also amazing. Lovely patio to sit out and just enjoy the ”
“Perfectly fine food, the salad greens were fresh and the chicken wasn't dry. The shawarma is fine, the hummus so so, the tzatziki familiar, the pita warm but a little spongy. I liked the fried chickpeas in my salad, I guess that stood out. It's a well run branch of a fast casual chain, staffed by local teens. A functioning expression of a corporate concept.”
“This Italian restaurant is fantastic. I love the food the service and where it's located. Besides it feeling a little bit crowded it is a place I recommend.”
“Really yummy tacos. Good tequila though, overpriced a little bit after looking up the price of the bottle I was drinking I realized I paid for an entire bottle after only two shots lol”
“Want to give a shoutout to amazing customer service from Baylee! She was so sweet and attentive when we had questions about the menu. She gave us her recommendations and followed up by making sure we were happy with everything that we ordered. Amazing service and a great experience! ?”
“I didn’t expect much but was surprised to get the tastiest food I ever ate in Mexican place. I suppose it was because the Taco Oasis shack was a first for me,beng used to restaurants, but those people know how to prepare the most tasty tacos I’ve ever eaten. They also add avocado no extra charge. Carne Asada Taco only $3.50 each. What a deal!”
“We tried a few places in Carlsbad during our vacation, but this place had the best food. I had the avocado toast and a side of hashbrowns, it was simple but delicious.”
“Ever since moving to Oceanside my family has desperately searched for Italian food as good as our favorite place back home. After trying many restaurants 2051 Cucina is hands down our favorite place and we now eat there regularly. Everything is homemade with fresh, high quality ingredients. “Came in late just for a couple crepes on the recommendation of friends. It was very good and the person taking our order was incredibly nice. I will have to go back if I'm ever back in Carlsbad.”

“This is the first time we have visited this restaurant. I was shopping in the area and stopped by to see their menu. It smelled wonderful just walking in the door. It was my husband's birthday, so we decided to go there for dinner. He had the chicken mo-mos, and I had the lamb kabob/vegetables tandoori. We also had some soup. The sauce for the mo-mos was awesome, and the lamb was very tender and flavorful. Tutu was our waitress, and she told us the restaurant was established 7 years ago. What a gem this place is! She even gave us a little dessert to take back to the room. Two little cakes in a honey drizzle. She told us to heat in the microwave for 18 seconds, melts in your mouth delicious! We will definitely visit here again.”
“This place is fantastic if you're a beer lover! Also it's very dog friendly, they even allow dogs inside. I've only ever been here for work happy hours, but I definitely need to make the trek sometime to experience it without a big group, because I have no clue what the food menu actually looks like. All I know is the food we have here is always really good. Parking can be a bit tight sometimes but that's the only real downside.”
“Food is excellent, we've had this about 3 weeks in a row. Everything you try is something you will like. Tops are Crab ? Fried Rice, French Toast, Fried Chicken ? & Waffle. Paella ? is a favorite, so is lobster pad thai.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“My first time at an El Pollo Loco (btw love the name ?). We chose to dine-in. The place was quite, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions about their menu. I had the chicken&avocado bowl and the rest of the family had chicken quesadillas, tacos al carbon and chicken burritos. The flavours were there and the prices were good. My only comment for the store manager would be to ensure that the avocados in the chicken&avocado bowl be as fresh as possible because mine were a little passed their best point and they are one of the two main ingredients of the dish. But we would definitely go again! Thank you.”
“I loved it, a little complicated to use the bathrooms but the place was very cleanParking: Very large parking lotKid-friendliness: YeahWheelchair accessibility: Clear”
“I'm not a fan of Panda Express for chinese food. Though, this location is very generous and the staff are really friendly. I think out of all of them I like the layout here the most. The cub meal is always perfect for me but the combo plate is also affordable ^_^”
“I got hooked on the nacho cheese fries. So the last couple of days I have been having it for lunch and today I had the bean rice and cheese burrito. The food is good and fast just quick bites. The store was pretty clean and great that they have condiments, sauces and napkins out for use. I wish the service as far as the order taking could be more upbeat and friendly. I was a service oriented person myself so it's important to have really good connection.Vegetarian options: Bean, cheese and rice burritos. Nacho fries.”
“Sergio Enriquez at CARLSBAD 92008 on Carlsbad Village Drive is the freaking bomb! So fun!! We live up the street and everyone seems so grumpy there… he was amazing!! Great experience!”
“I was craving beyond beef. Famous star. Sounds strange but I didn't want the heavy meat. I just wanted to taste the burger. Glad you still have the beyond products.”
“Reese’s pieces, PB&J’s and Paydays,These are just some of what she won’t eat,I wonder why she is this way,Maybe she’s just picky and petite? At Jack in the Box, we ordered milkshakes,She leaves, and I sprinkle bits of peanuts,All over her whipped cream for when she returns. After a sip, she complains her stomach hurts,Next, her throat begins to swell. It’s already too late, although I dial nine-one-one,The paramedics declared her gone at age twelve.I guess I should’ve known,My friend has a peanut allergy.”
“Very good experience I was for the breakfast burger everything is fresh, the lady prepared burger is very friendly smile with all people.this is a good reason for coming back. ”
“Very great service the young gentleman was very courteous. I ordered chips and nacho cheese and two rice bean and cheese burritos. Really the burritos tasted great I think the combination with the sauce makes it very tasty.”
“Sometimes, you just need Taco Bell. ? We stopped by, ordered in the app. Very easy and convenient. Order was completed perfectly. They have family meals, this order was $20. Lots of food- cheap! What more could you ask.”
“It's your usual McDonald's experience: the food was as expected, and the staff provided great service. However, the recent remodeling gave the restaurant a rather sterile vibe, resembling a hospital cafeteria. Additionally, we noticed that the exterior lights weren't functioning at night.”
“Great Mexican restaurant in Carlsbad. The restaurant is very welcoming, the service was friendly and personalized, and the food is absolutely delicious. We had Catherine as our server and she took care of us from the moment we sat down, guided us honestly through the menu, and made our experience totally enjoyable. This is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner between San Diego and Los Angeles.”
“Hidden behind another pizza joint, I suggested we eat here instead. I was honestly thinking they would have pizza by the slice, but their way of competing against the many other pizza choices around the village is different. They offer a menu more than just pizza, including pasta, salad, veggie appetizers, and wine. Their pizza is practically a thin crust until you get to the end. It was amazing how perfect the crust was. It wasn't floppy anywhere and had a good chew. It was wonderful to dip into the leftover sauce from the stuffed shells, which was also great on its own. The pronounced lemon in the filling was awesome; I actually liked that it wasn't just a hint of lemon. The ambiance is intimate, but it's nice where we sat in their outdoor area. The service was OK. We weren't greeted when we stepped inside or as we walked up. The server didn't present our food by name, but rather placed it on the table. I don't think they even said, "enjoy". It just wasn't personable for a small local shop. When we left, however, another server who was working inside said bye and thank you. Guess it depends who you get.”
“So so so good! I enjoy finding new lunch spots in the area because things get real boring and real quick around here. I ordered for delivery and I was surprised with hot and fresh everything came as well as the portion sizes. The soup was great and full of veggies. The zucchini sticks with the marinara and ranch hit hard, they were addictive. The pasta surprised me the most because I feel like it can be hit and miss at most places because apparently seasoning your food is hard or something. But everything was flavorful and a great price I gotta say. I'll probably dine in at some point because I'd like to see what their dinner service looks like and what the vibe of the restaurant itself is like, but all in all I highly recommend.”
Cheap Eats
“Oh. My. Stars. this ice cream spot was SO delicious!! The flavor options were super unique, and I loved that it was nestled in a perfect spot to sit & enjoy. We enjoyed an ice cream sandwich made with brown butter pecan ice cream between the nutty chocolate chip cookie and my goodness, it was delicious!!!”
“I had high hopes for the brown sugar sage latte but it fell short for me. The sage flavor wasn't really there for me and the almond milk made my drink taste a bit off. I would get oatmilk next time. The tarragon turkey sandwich, however, was AMAZING. 5/5 for the sandwich. The service was quick and the vibe of the shop was cute. A bit expensive but the quality is there.”
“Called to ask if they delivered our hotel. The food arrived hot and right on time. We got wings and two pineapple and ham pizzas.Food was great and they even threw in cups and plates since we were getting delivery to a hotel.Would recommend to anyone looking for good pizza after a built day.”
“$2 fish tacos all day?!?! Take my money. All the food is great, especially the green curry shrimp taco and elote ? cup. The bartender with braids is a star. Prices are great. New local fave.”
“Cafe Topes was super busy when my friend and I came for breakfast (Saturday at 11am, duh it's busy!) but the service is so quick and efficient we were in and out in thirty minutes. You order at the front, the person who took our order was super helpful and friendly (I wish I got his name) and made great recommendations. We got the crack breakfast burrito, the 222, and two delicious lemonades. The food came out incredibly fast, piping hot, and super yummy. We really enjoyed the inside seating, although the outside is just as nice when it's not rainy! Would go again, and probably will soon!”
“one of my favorite vegan restaurants, I love coming to this veggie grill! the food tastes as good as it looks and the staff have always been so friendly :) the nachos and buffalo chicken salads are our favorites! and their desserts are always so good ”
“The cutest spot! Different vibe from the og location in San Marcos but change is never a bad thing! Super clean with a good amount of tables, and seats next to outlets which makes the perfect study spot! The coffee itself is amazing and the service is always great and quick. Super friendly staff and overall the best cafe around”
“It was pretty good. Pretty standard, tasted healthy. Lots of options. Service was prompt and prices were pretty standard. Cool vibe inside. Instagram wall for photos.”
“Arrived on Sunday 4/7 I got the hunger for teriyaki….. where else would I go?!??Surf Brothers Teriyaki!! If you haven’t been, you should! Enjoy!Parking: Small, “mom and pop” feel. I have been following them since 1999.”
“We really enjoy this local coffee shop and roaster. Always popular with indoor and ample outdoor seating. Coffee is always served just right and independent vibe and care surpasses chain shops. Great place to people watch. I personally study there but often get distracted by the great weather and nice people. Excellent service!”
“Amazing place. Top notch food. They were so nice too. We brought our dog (pug) and were able to sit outside. They were super patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. If you just want a nice place to get some breakfast - this is your go-to for the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. I wish we were native to the area so I can go more often!”
“Lower prices, faster service, and more friendly employees than Bird Rock.Honey latte was decent; would try something else instead next time."Breakfast bucket" was fire. Blueberries tasted very fresh.”
“Came here after a hike based on all the good reviews. I will need to try the other things but this sandwich is hella bomb...mostly due to the crunchy/soft bread. I go to a bakery called crème in Claremont and it rivals her ham and buerre sandwich which is saying something. Simple and excellent.”
“This is a hidden gem somewhere in Carlsbad. I'm so happy I found this place and I fully regret not ordering my own acai bowl. Although it doesn't seem like much, the acai bowl that we got here was actually very delicious and fresh! Something about it made me enjoy it so much more than I have the others I've ordered from other businesses. If you're in the area, definitely go check them out!”
“Had a wonderful time at Witch Creek Winery, thanks to Nick the bartender. He created a relaxed atmosphere, chatted about local spots, and made my visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by to enjoy great wine and great company with Nick!”
“Without a doubt. Burgeon Brewery production of the best beers anywhere. The large list of Burgeon IPAs is second to none. Then there's the Pales ales. Incredible. Pilsner popularity are on the rise and leading the pack again is Burgeon. To be fair there is a plethora of amazing brewery's in SD . Particularly north county coast. But the comparison of any to Burgeon isn't even close. If your thinking of visiting a few breweries while in SDs north county coast I would highly recommend you try them 1st. If you start at Burgeon the others won't be as impressive. 2 other very important aspects of this brewery are the people who work here. Very knowledgeable and strive to take care of anyone who walks in the door. See it every time we go. And the food trucks. If Burgeon has them , expect some of the best in town serving you.”
“She made a beautiful amazing cake for my little boy! :D Absolutely delicious and creative! Everyone loved looking at it and eating this masterpiece she made for us! Thank you Brittany Austin for your hard work and the obvious love you put into what you do! You are super sweet and kind. :D”

Yard House
“Exceptional service. They accommodate our last minute birthday group of 15 on a busy Saturday night.Big thank you to the young ladies at the front desk and our server. You saved the day with smiles and kindness !! 5-STARS ?”
“Absolutely amazing experience, fortunate enough to have the chance to speak with the owner who's very passionate about pizza and has a deep understanding of the origin and history of it. Ordered 3 pies and was pleased with all of them. I will be back again and will recommend to others as well. Thank you for excellent and over the top customer service!”
“Always enjoyed having dinner here. The El Fuego roll is a good one. The soft shell crab is another one of my favorites. The atmosphere has always been relaxed and a great spot to sit at the bar.”
“Great evening! The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. The drinks were delicious. And the price...perfect! It was our first visit. We will definitely be back. We did the $75 early bird dinner special...and it was!”

P.F. Chang's
“Best bbq in San Diego. Anywhere from tri tip, to Mac n cheese hands down the best, chicken , bbq sauce , oh ya the ? bread u can’t get enough of. Everything there is mouthwatering ”
“Went there for lunch with a friend from outta town. The greeting was friendly and the service was professional. Food was great and our waiter was friendly and kept our glasses full. I highly recommend Olive Garden if you haven't been there but if you have then go back for their quality food and service.”
“Our waiter Carlos was super friendly and welcoming! We loved that he gave great food recommendations, everything tasted delicious, especially the cheesecake dessert!”

“We visited the Village for an early dinner but it was too cold to eat outside. Fortunately we came across The Compass. Good food, good service, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.”

OAK + Elixir
“The service was amazing. We were looking forward to sitting outside and were bummed that the patio area had closed! But the indoor area is pretty nice and you can actually hear your own conversation. Very nice wine selection too!”
“I have been eating here for 20 + years, I have seen the owners change, the food change and the servers come and go. Two things always stayed the same, great food and service,It feels strange to go to a "nice restaurant" and have to ask for salt, pepper, and red pepper to be brought out to the table, I know fewer places have it out, it's nice when you don't have to bug a busy wait staff to get it and wait to eat until you get it.That is my rant, love the place and will continue to go for another 20 years.Parking: Parking can be a bit tight and a bit rough to find in this lot I recommend getting there early and plan on hunting for a spot”
“We came here on a Sunday. There was about a 40 minute wait for a table. Everyone in my party loved their sushi. The only downside was how loud it was inside the restaurant. A little sensory overload.”

Eureka!
“I am visiting my son in San Diego area.We have been dining at different restaurants.Tonight was Eureka ! Wonderful and unique ambiance. Seating includes high top tables, dining room tables, and awesome bar area. Beautiful outdoor sitting when weather permits. The vibe is great, along with the food and service. Interesting menu with intriguing options. A shout out to our fabulous server, Nathan! We had a wonderful evening and dining experience.”

Sushi Kuchi
“Love that place, great sashimi, great sushi. Awesome employees.Parking: Yes, do order the baked scallop dish and the handroll quail egg, salmon roll. Ask for Ajoke the great sushi chef❤”
“My Boyfriend and I love this place. This time we tried Pizza and it didn't disappoint. It had tons of meat on it even filet mignon that melted in your mouth. That was a first for us. never have we had filet mignon on a pizza before. This is a gem of a place in the heart of the Village. Our Server Renaldo was excellent. We normally don't get dessert but we couldn't resist the limoncello cake. Yum!”

“Kylie was our amazing server on The Deck above the restaurant! Attentive and efficient service and great recommendations. She even changed the TV to the NHL playoffs for us. Superb food, good cocktails, gorgeous view of the ocean.”
“A beautiful bar area located inside the Park Hyatt Aviara. We stopped by here on two occasions during our stay, once for Japanese take-out, which was awesome, and once for an after-dinner coffee, tea, and a date at the Top Golf simulator. You have to check in at Pacific Point for the Top Golf experience fyi.In any event, this is a great, sophisticated spot to grab a drink or dinner at the bar. Pacific Point even had live music playing on a Tuesday night, which was very cool!”
“Timothy was outstanding! He was so refreshing and personable in an age where customer service is lacking. This young man will go far! Thank you Timothy for offering hope for the future in your generation! Thank you again …”
“The tejate was a nice experience. I've never had the drink before so it was good just to try it out. He checked in regularly with the tables he had which was cool. I got the mole negro burrito and it was HUGE I don't think anyone can finish it in one sitting. Personally I'm more of a brown mole person instead bc I like the chocolate taste but I wanted to try the mole negro and it was good, had a spiciness to it.”
“I have one word to say....LEGIT!!! This place is absolutely legit. So nice to have some legit cultural food here in Carlsbad!! The walnut prawns are the absolute best I have ever had and they are my favorite so that is saying a lot. Prices were absolutely reasonable for what you get. We did not have to wait and the service was perfect!!”
“First time and enjoyed the staff very much! Super nice & accommodating. Food was great! Drinks were good. Dj was really good with 2000s hits and great transitions. John the bouncer was a pleasure to have at the door. Really great night”
“obsessed !!!! love love love this place from the people to the food how can anyone not love this place ! we come here frequently and leave happy and satisfied every time !!!”
“This is really really good Italian food. Small place surfer beach vibe not fancy but cozy and smells so good! Service is great and feels like home town, cuz this is my home town.”
“I don’t live in Carlsbad but tried Food here and it was delicious, it was clean and service was great…I come to Carlsbad every 2 months and this will be my place to eat at least once per visitVegetarian options: It is hard to find vegetarian option and this is the best place”
“Here, in this restaurant, you will find delicious food if it Is for breakfast or dinner and the price of each plate will vary depending on what you do order. If you are a member of IHG Rewards Club, then please charge everything to your room because that's the only way for you to accumulate hundreds of points so that you can get free nights, free merchandise or free airline tickets.”
“Islands rocks! We've ordered a ton of food to go and it is always expertly packed! Super nice wait staff and the chefs always accommodate my customizations which I appreciate ? I recommend Chili Cheese Onion Rings (custom)!”
“Wonderful owners and wonderful products. I've been taking a shot of Demonic Tonic with the Beet Kvaas in the morning for about a year now. I can feel the difference. Great stuff!”
“Omg. Best Italian ever. Jose, Manager sat us for a special birthday for 86 year old birthday, and had the most special evening ever. She was so surprised and smiled all night long. Thank you!!”

“We came here for a late lunch and it was wide open! No one to be seen. The service was prompt and efficient as such. The food was very good and tasty. We enjoyed our lunch here. We saw a few planes, but not too many.”

Thai One On
“I was a little blown away by the increased prices got a hotpot of coconut chix soup w white rice and it came out to 30$ to go ! I can get the same at my other Favorite Thai place 1to2Thai for $20 and I think it's better as well...”
“This was the best food option for us in the park. Great selection of salad/pasta ingredients, pizza bread and several pizza options, all was delicious. We arrived around noon and it wasn't crowded - it got packed later around 12:30.”
“I ordered the tomato basil soup. It was delicious! My friend who ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup also loved the food. The owner and the staff were friendly and the service was timely. Highly recommended!”

The Market
“Good coffee options (and good coffee) conveniently located just inside the entrance to get the energy to take on the park and again to get the energy for the drive home. It’s priced well for an amusement park.”
“We stayed at the hotel as part of the Legoland vacations package. The hotel is right next to the park and because you stay there, you get early access to the park. Breakfast is included but still best to make reservations. We stayed in a Friends themed room with bunk beds for the girls. The girls had a great time and enjoyed meeting characters on site.”

Skyline Cafe
“Good spot for a meal in the Legoland Hotel. They take good allergies very seriously here, with the chef himself coming out to our table to discuss how menu items are made. Our flatbread appeared as if it sat on a heating plate too long (see picture), but the chicken pesto sandwich was good and the beer selection was quite solid (a pint of Yeti imperial stout from Great Divide!).Dietary restrictions: They take food allergies very seriously here, asking about them before orders are taken, and the chef coming out to discuss food preparation in light of any allergies mentioned.Parking: No parking specific to the restaurant, use the Legoland Hotel parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, as is all of Legoland.”

Fun Town
“The driving school is the kid’s favorite. It’s good opportunity to learn the traffic rules and the responsibilities with fun. There are some other rides and attractions to explore in the Fun town, such as Fun Town Police and Fire Academy, DUPLO Playtown, Kid Power Tower, Rebuild the World, etc. kids can have lots of fun.”
“Absolutely loved this sushi restaurant! I got the double salmon tempura roll, and the baked salmon roll and they were both absolutely delicious.Service was great and they got a 30% off happy hour from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM each day which is awesome.”

VUE
“We had a great time overall and do plan to come back during the day to experience the view in a daylight. The food was great - we ordered Calamari, Salmon and Chicken curry. The place was busy and our order was mixed up which is understandable. This was not a big deal given the overall great experience we had. Our waiter made up for the small glitches and we appreciate him.”
“DoorDash delivery was good. Ordered the custom ramen which was delicious. Fresh ingredients and you can add extra sauce or extra noodles so good portion size. A bit expensive for the delivery side. But still good.”
“Delicious yet clean cut burger! Friendly service in a well maintained environment, nice indoor and outdoor seating available. Had the Lounge Burger - excellent! Add bacon for a few bucks more next time, then would be almost perfect ;) Wheat bun, different but healthier so I'll take it, definitely a go to spot for lunch when in Carlsbad”
“We were in town for a soccer tournament and Karl Strauss hosted our group easily. We had a very long table on the outside side patio. They also have QR code ordering so everyone can order separately to avoid dealing with a massive split check problem. We ordered the pork chops with potatoes, zucchini, pub burger with fries, a kids meal, and ahi poke nachos. The food was all solid. I don't particularly like the way they make sauces but they accommodated putting everything on the side so I could sauce or not sauce at my leisure.”
“We waited about 20min for someone to knowledge us just to get water and another 30 to take our order I never got my complete order she forgot to bring she said asked if I wanted it of course I ordered it so she brought it out COLD I sent it back and no longer wanted it will never return not to sure if it was the color of my skin or just flat out bad service!!!”
“A very good place to grab a healthy and refreshing juice. They have convenient bottled grab and go options that are super easy. Not cheap, but it all tastes good. People are hit and miss but overall I’ve never had an issue with anyone.”
“Love this Thai restaurant!! The food is absolutely delicious! And the folks who work here are just amazing... So kind friendly and awesome!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for dining in and takeout! But even more for catering! They did a small takeout catering for us for 20 people! It was so delicious and such generous amounts! The summer rolls were decorated, so pretty with these beautiful orchids and flowers. We were so impressed. Thank you.”
“Great time there. Very good prices. Service was fast and very friendly. One of the better salad bars for sure!Vegetarian options: Salad and soup barKid-friendliness: They have kid cups and there definitely food options you can find for kiddos”
“I had the chili colorado and it rocked. My wife had a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and it was huge and awesome, she only ate half took to rest to go. I will go back! If you want fancy drinks, it not the place to go, but for great food and a beer in a frozen glass it's not to be missed. The service was very good as well. P.S. I rarely write reviews and only for great places.”
“Let me tell you a lot about this restaurant: My brother and I decided to go out for dinner while we were staying at sharoton hotel. We of course out of convenience pick their on site restaurant the 7 mile kitchen. The name is catchy, I must admit but I have, sadly, no idea what it means. As we walked into the place I was struck by the atmosphere. The decorations were unique and fun and the view was splendid but I have to admit the rest was quite depressing. We came at around 5:30 but the restaurant was dead other than a family who seemed to be quite hangry at a table near the entrance. There was no background music and there was an obnoxious tv in the corner that was quite distracting. We walked to the desk where the hostess, Simon, met us. He was polite and very nice but seemed bored, sad, and wishing that he could be out at the beach rather than working as a hostess. We continued to our table, a squishy booth with a table that was mostly sanitary other than a few funky stains and spots. Our waiter came to greet us by the name of Edgar. He was very studious. He gave us water which was very nice even though it tasted like butt, but that’s California water for you. But back to our experience, we then looked through the menu and chose the margarita pizza, mushroom truffle pizza, and a Cesar salad and Edgar very kindly took our order with his cute notepad. We then waited for a respectable 15 minutes for a dinner. In the mean time we drank our butt water and watched the other waiters do their job, Reynard and Charlie. They seemed to be doing splendid Reynard was very very nice and Charlie did a great job cleaning up the food that some kid dropped all over the floor. She did it with a bright smile on her face and she looked like she was having a sunny day. A lady by the name of Megan brought out our food. Let me tell you a little bit about Megan. She, according to her name tag, was IN to gardening. That’s all I know about Megan. Now on to the food:Cesar salad- greens= fresh, delicious and CRISPY, dressing=mhmmmmmmmmmm yummmy all in all would def recommendMargarita pizza- at first glance and last glance it looks like cheese pizza. First bite and last bite, looks like cheese pizza. But it was quite enjoyable! It was a little soggy but the tomato sauce was SPLENDID and the motzerrepla was great. Sometimes it all fell off the crust though like a slip in slideTruffle pizza- As I toke my first bite the flavors rushed into my mouth. The main one being BURNT crust. It was CHARRED like when charazard breathes on a peice of wood. Other than that it was actually pretty tasty ?.Portions- 1 pizza per HUNGRY person ??Next a lady by the name of Ashlyn took our plates away. She was bubbly an warm and just overall a very nice person! She get an A+!!!!Then Edgar came over with a bamboo check thing and we paid. Then we left the table and walked into the hotel lobby listening to SCREAMING kids.Overall Rating3.85869684858685848585/5 ⭐️7.85736274846485848/10B-Emoji rating- ?Tips:Keep up the good work, get the cooking down on those pizzas ? be a weee bit better. Waiters - you are #CrushingIt”
“Literally walking in they way they set each restaurant is amazing there are so many cool things to see and look at or read about. Have been coming here since I was a kid and chain or not they each feel family owned so much effort and care go into making each meal so delicious. I recently tried the pizza and was so happy with the choice there is not an item on the menu that is not worth at least a try. The service makes you was to come back they even have people that come out and do family pictures sometimes.”
“We had a great brunch here. There was live music and the server was fantastic! We had a large party and we were sort of loud and had lots of special requests which were handled with ease. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.”
“Have you ever wanted to try new menu items provide feedback? Join the Rubio’s Rewards and provide an email and periodically you may get the chance to reply to surveys that can earn you an invite to Rubio’s Test Kitchen which is located in their corporate offices. This is truly a chill experience - people are friendly and you get to comment on the quality of proposed new menu items. You reply to surveys and eat great food - what a treat. I’ve been several times and each time has been great”
“The food is no longer what it was. The brunch menu was OK, but the food was bad. Probably the chef is trying new approaches to Mexican food, well, it did not work. The food was bad. The service was slow, but polite. The restaurant was empty, spoiling the atmosphere for an Easter brunch. Very disappointed.”
“I find the pizzas to be a over priced even taking into account that they use high-quality ingredients. So, I just don't find myself ordering pizza from here. But there are still a few things I do order on occasion. I really enjoy their roasted artichoke starter. The salad it comes with is a generous individual size and quite good. So, for me, I sometimes order this as my full dinner. I also like their beet and California wedge salads. I will probably keep ordering these in the future.”
“Great restaurant to go out for brunch! Loved the atmosphere and has amazing decorations. My favorite food items were the Brekkie Sando and Carnitas Tacos. Nice place to invite friends to.”
“Our dinner at this establishment was amazing, and a lot of that had to do with Kaylee, our waitress. She wasn't just doing her job; she was like a friend who happened to know everything about the menu.Kaylee had this easygoing way about her, making us feel right at home from the get-go. She was all about the little things—remembering who ordered what without having to ask again, bringing refills without us having to flag her down, and always with a genuine smile. It was like she could read our minds, knowing exactly when to swing by our table and when to give us a moment. The food was great, sure, but it was Kaylee's personal touch that really made the meal. She'd drop by with fun little tidbits about the brewhouse or a dish we were trying, making dinner not just a meal but an experience. It never felt like she was just going through the motions. Instead, it felt like catching up with an old friend—who just happened to be taking our dinner order. Thanks to Kaylee, our family dinner felt more than just eating out. It was cozy, it was fun, and it was exactly the kind of warm, welcoming experience you hope to have when you decide to spend an evening out with your family.”
“We went on a Wednesday which a good time to go without being rushed by a crowd. The food was excellent and we will definitely returning!Parking: We were able to park on the street, but it was a weekday so it wasn't busy.”
“My first visit and not my last! My lobster roll was absolutely delicious... the seating at the restaurant next to you was good. My friend enjoyed her tacos from that place park 101. But I'm happy with that lobster roll!!!”

“Better food than expected. The dragon burger was pretty good. The onion rings were average so I don't recommend upgrading to those. The kids Mac and cheese was also good. The castle atmosphere is fun for the kids. It's just expensive for what you get.”

“From the host, back waiters, servers and bartenders everyone was on point! Service was outstanding! Food and drinks were great and everyone was supper nice to my little 2 year old! Highly recommend! We are locals but felt like I was vacationing being there!”
“We've been here a few times. The kids always enjoy the food. The atmosphere is very Lego. The last call for food is 8:15 pm, and the last reservation that can be booked is 8pm. There's not much time to eat. It is a bit pricey for a buffet.”

“Came for a birthday celebration and had to wait a little but our chef Nick was amazing. The other family sharing the table tried to badmouth him and lied to get their bill compensated. The food and the service was outstanding. He was so nice and engaged with everyone the entire time. And the food like I said was the best I've had from there ever. From now on we will always request him, I suggest you do too! This was the Carlsbad location”

“This bar was really fun. Robert bartender helped us out and took care of us. If you're not in your twenties I would suggest going early it gets pretty crowded.”
“I was a little blown away by the increased prices got a hotpot of coconut chix soup w white rice and it came out to 30$ to go ! I can get the same at my other Favorite Thai place 1to2Thai for $20 and I think it's better as well...”
“Timothy was outstanding! He was so refreshing and personable in an age where customer service is lacking. This young man will go far! Thank you Timothy for offering hope for the future in your generation! Thank you again …”
“Great burritos. I tried La Bombs the tri-tip breakfast burrito and the Grand slam. Both burritos were great and reasonably priced. The service was great. The location is a little hard to find but has plenty of parking. Give Sam's a try for a breakfast burrito served all day.”
“We love this cute winery , it’s a few blocks from our place, great to enjoy a glass or 2, safely walk home ! Tina does a great job ! Most importantly the wines are very good”

“Didn't realize that with a reservation there would be such a long lineup to get in. I would get there before your reservation time to get in on time. The buffet had good variety and the Monte Cristo sandwich was excellent.”

“before you get impatient about waiting an hour for pizza , think about the time you are ordering it at. Also ITS WORTH THE WAIT ! Everyone is ordering this spot during prime times , because there pizza is just perfect! Never a cold delivery and always a great customer service”
“Food is fantastic, and spice levels are spot on. I believe the owner has greeted us on multiple occasions and he's extremely friendly. Great atmosphere, milkshakes, and service! Definitely will be back many times. They also have military discount which is always nice to hear of the support!”
“This is exactly the type of place I was looking for when I was told I had to have tacos while in the San Diego area. Lots of options, tasty guac, drink specials and an awesome patio out back! I splurged on some fancy or premium tacos and everything I had was amazing. Bonus for having a check in offer for a free taco when you check in on Yelp!”
“Kid-friendliness: This place is so amazing everyone always has a smile on there faces and the service is just so good and the food is to die for oh and the pita bread is bommmb!”
“The service here is wonderful!! Our server was very attentive and so kind. The staff all work together to make everyone's dining experience great. For appetizers we got Takoyaki and their special soft shell crab buns. The Takoyaki came out piping hot and was so flavorful! The soft shell crab buns are featured on their Spring Menu and they were very unique. The crab is fried and seasoned with mayo and pickled onions. I felt that there was too much mayo. For ramen we tried Tonkatsu and Miso ramen-- the broth is ok, I would add extra spice for some additional flavoring. Overall, not a bad ramen place in north county!”
“Great beers and great pizza. I always go with the bbq chicken because its so good. They have great hazy beers as well. Cool setup they got being able to see into their massive brewery, 2 stories that can accomodate many large parties, tvs for sports, and even Arcade video games”
