“The service is exceptional. They even provide complimentary hair ties and aprons, and the staff is incredibly attentive, always keeping an eye on our table. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely a place worth coming back to!“

“So does your policy of a minimum of 2 people eating extend to senior citizens who may not have anyone to dine with???? Shame on you for turning away a paying customer…“

“One of the best Mala ive ever had in the US. It tasted exactly like the malatang in korea and it wasnt too spicy or too sweet. The owner was so nice to us, and the workers were helpful and nice. The materials are fresh and the broth tastes really good.“

“Lisa made our experience exceptional. From the moment we walked in, she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable, and Lisa did exactly that. Her positive attitude and thoughtful service made our meal even more enjoyable. Thank you, Lisa, for your hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!“

“We were looking for a place to eat late into the night and found this on Google. Boy was it good!!!! It's all you can eat and they have different combos for anyone's budget. They were really nice and got us a table even though it was late but honestly we left stuff silly on all the tasty food. It's such a pretty location and the servers were helpful despite us ending our time a little after closing. We got the combo B and almost every meat we tried was a hit. They have so many options in broth, seafood, and veggies. Sidenote: I can't recommend the lemonade enough XD they also have a nice little punch card deal with a nice reward for when you hit 10 visits. We will be back for more in the future! Have patience the quality is worth it.“

“Thanks to my son in law we got to try a new spot. How Rowland Heights has changed since the 80’s. Just love the rich food scene. Be forewarned. Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.“

“I would recommend Little Skewer if you want some authentic Chinese food. My group of four loved the skewers the most- it was full of flavors, and cooked perfectly. Not only the food will amazed you but also the interior- feels like your in little China. IMPRESSIVE!“

“This was the second time I’ve been here and it was even better than the last time I went. The staff is extremely nice, they offered so much help from ordering the best soup to bagging up our sauces for us without even asking. The food is always good, there’s many different options from seafood to veggies. I prefer getting the Beef bone soup, it’s so flavorful! The staff here are so nice and the food is amazing. It’s usually empty when we come in, so hopefully they get busier soon!“

“Came here for a club dinner and had a great experience. Our server, Rebecca, was wonderful. I got the solo hot pot and went with the miso broth, which was pretty good. What I liked most is that you can pick and choose your own ingredients instead of being stuck with pre-set options. Would recommend!“

“I moved to other state 2 years ago and this restaurant is one of restaurants I really miss in LA. Every time I come back to LA I must have a dinner here. This restaurant never let me down. It is one of the most authentic Chongqing Hot Pot restaurants. The taste is great and the food material is fresh and quality. They are very generous to provide complimentary high quality snacks. They treat the customers thoughtfully and it is why they exist so long a time.“

“The buffet at Pichaiyuan offers an impressive variety of options, including a fresh selection of vegetables, seafood, meats, noodles, and a fully stocked sauce bar. There’s also a hot appetizer station featuring wings, chips, fried sesame balls, and more. Unlimited drinks are included as well, with choices like passion fruit juice, winter melon tea, and chrysanthemum tea.
For the broths, we chose the original bone soup and the hot and sour soup. The bone broth was rich and flavorful, but the hot and sour broth was definitely the standout.
We went with the top-tier AYCE Combo C, which includes premium cuts like Grassland lamb, beef tongue, and American Kobe Wagyu beef. It also comes with everything from Combos A and B, plus access to all the meat selections at the buffet. The premium meats were absolutely delicious and well worth the upgrade.
With great service, quality food, and affordable pricing, this is definitely a hot pot spot we’d happily return to.“

“Loved my experience at East Town hot pot!! It was my first time seeing a charcoal hot pot, and I loved that you could choose two types of soup for each pot! They have a really wide selection of proteins and veggies. I highly recommend the beef and lamb combo! It’s mostly beef options, but it gives you a good selection of their proteins! Also, save some room for dessert! They have fresh cut fruits, popcorn, and a soft serve machine!“

“Fantasic staff! They are always so friendly and helpful! They always remember us when we come in. The shabu is fantastic. The broth selections are wonderful and you can mix and match! Produce is fresh, lots of beers on tap. Only critisism is I wish they would change their chairs, they aren’t comfortable; the food is so good though it’s worth being uncomfortable!“

“I really enjoyed this place because it brings together different types of Asian cuisine in one spot. Being able to order both hot pot and sushi is such a great combination! Cooking your own hot pot makes the whole experience fun and interactive, and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was fast, and the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place!“

“Memorable first time experience eating at a Mongolian restaurant. the hot pot experience was very unique & novel for me. I found the idea of selecting your uncooked proteins, carbs (e.g noodles) & vegetables, selecting your broth (up to 2) & then cooking them right at your table, very intriguing & different. The staff are very nice & we're ready to explain & walk me through the process as a first timer. The food is delicious & had a lot of variety to choose from for a very varied experience. Tried the all you can eat option but got a happy hour discount. Ambience & decor looked very niche & classy. Plenty of parking spots available to park. Reservations are required for groups but none required if you are a party of one. Plan to arrive 30 mins before closing time to get the best full experience.“
“Jiaoxiangyuan is a new-style Sichuan restaurant. Its signature dish is the bullfrog double boiler. I invited the whole family to try it at Christmas. It was really good. Several dishes recommended by the restaurant manager were very delicious, and the family was full of praises. I stayed here. I made a good impression and will choose this restaurant next time I invite friends to dinner.“

“The best Malatang in Los Angeles, especially the secret bone broth, with dipping sauces is even better than the soup base in some hot pot restaurants. I have eaten at all the restaurants by Zhang Liang and Yang Guofu, and they are not to my taste. This is the only one that I want to go back to because of its delicious flavor. I hope the boss keeps it going.“

“We stopped in for dinner the other night. There is ample parking available in the parking lot. The restaurant is located off the beaten path but worth the discovery.
We came in for hot pot. Please note this is not an AYCE place. But the quality here will make you come back.
We got the pork tripe chicken broth. I could drink this all day. We got an assortment of vegetables. We got corn, various mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tofu, greens and water chestnuts. All so good and so fresh.
For proteins we got ribeye, beef tongue, and lamb. Everything was so fatty and flavorful. Such great quality meat.
We also got a few appetizers. The popcorn mushrooms are my new favorite. The mashed garlic cucumbers were crispy and delicious. They also have skewers and we got chicken hearts, which is a personal favorite. And we also got a beef tongue plate. So good and the Chili's brought the heat.
Such friendly service and delicious comfort food will make this a place to come back to again and again.“

“Solid spot for individual hot pot; portions are decent and broth has a nice kick without being too salty. I liked having my own little pot bubbling in front of me, felt cozy and kinda fun. Staff moved fast, everything came out pretty quick.“

“My family and I live this place. The food is fresh and delightful. The only thing I would say in a different light is that I wish they had more staff. The service is good however, sometimes it takes a while for your server to cover to you due to understaffed. Other then that this place is one of our faves.“

“Went for the first time last night as we are visiting from Las Vegas. We absolutely loved it. The service from both the servers and owner were subpar. The food and drinks were to die for, especially the food. We got to enjoy karaoke singing from the other patrons. The owner was extremely accommodating towards my service dog. He had a few questions which is normal but he said he had never had one in his establishment before us. Will definitely be back when we are in town ?? Lots of love from us! Thank you for making it a special night.“

“My cousins brought me here to celebrate my 25th birthday. I love shabu, and I have yet to try this spot out.
Parking: They're located in a medium sized plaza, and there's plenty of free parking.
Ambiance/Environment: It's very clean inside. There's a decent amount of seating. We visited on a Thursday night, so it wasn't too busy.
Service: Our server was efficient. We didn't catch her name, but she was knowledgable about the menu when we asked questions. Throughput was under 15 min after ordering. After receiving our orders, our server checked on us a couple times.
Soup & meats: My bf and I ordered the 'specials for 2' and went with the shared brisket set. The soup was decent; wasn't too salty. My favorite part were the briskets. It came with a generous amount of briskets. The toppings were also fresh. This special included beers and desserts.“

“We are lucky that if you dine during the lunch time, the rice is free. Or else you need to order the rice separately. The rice portion is big, however, one of the rice bowl contains the VERY BOTTOM of the rice pot. (See my picture). I don't think that is the right and professional way to serve a customer with that portion of the rice. Therefore, that deducts a star for this restaurant.
The service is good and the atmosphere is standard.
In conclusion, the prices for this restaurant are a bit high in my opinion. I will ONLY come back if the 20% off discount continues.“

“red chili is my sunday spot, it’s cozy, flavorful, and consistently hits the mark. the stir-fried string beans are punchy and perfectly blistered, the pickled chili fish is sour and spicy in all the right ways, and the pork belly is so tender it barely holds together (in a good way). i also love ordering a few cold dishes to balance things out. the tripe with chili oil has this addictive chew and numbing heat.
nancy is my waitress every time and i adore her. she’s warm, fast, and somehow always knows exactly what i want, even when i don’t“

“Very authentic Korean restaurant!!
We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, seafood onion pancake and beef soup. The spicy braised short ribs is so flavorful, it comes with radish and rice cake. The beef soup reminds you in Korea, no MSG! And the seafood onion pancake is huge, good to share. Their banchan also changes everyday!
The service is friendly and many old diners and family in the restaurant- that’s how you know it’s a legit place! There’s dinner rush so come early
Overall if you are looking for authentic Korean food this is the place!“

“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.“

“Unexpectedly good personal shabu shabu here in this little cafe! The portion is very large for the price. It's already cooked and ready to eat. Meat and veggies are very tender and the broth is perfect. I think other dishes are just OK. Kung pao chicken was not very authentic. Tea is quite strong, but also quite impressive about the scent. Boba was less than what I expected from a place known for boba.“

“Really enjoyed the wide selection of topping options you can add to your soup. They had a lot of options for soup bases too some spicy and some not spicy. The atmosphere is pretty nice I went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty easy to find a seat. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Waited about less than 20 minutes for my soup. Overall really good selection for the price. The dipping sauce bar didn’t have a ton of options but overall I really enjoyed this place.“
