“Hidden gem in Buena Park.
One of the best Korean beef bone broth soup in town. Price is reasonable ($16.55) and all the side dishes tasted homemade. It gets very busy during lunch hour. Service was excellent.
Parking is free is the shared parking lot.
Highly recommend.“

The restaurant is impeccably clean, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is both upscale and cozy. They have private, small rooms available, making it the best spot for a quiet meal and conversation. It is truly the ultimate venue for spending precious time with a cherished guest. Highly, highly recommended.“

“My family & I love this place! The food is delicious & they have kim chi fried rice & other items some place don’t offer. The staff is also super nice & you get free delicious ice cream! We’ve eaten at other places & it doesn’t come close to here . The price is so good in comparison too!“

“If you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food, Gamjagol is the place to be! We indulged in their signature Gamjatang—a hearty pork bone soup with tender meat that falls off the bone, rich broth, and perfectly cooked potatoes.
We also enjoyed the Bossam, which are pork slices boiled in a flavorful brine to perfection and served with cabbage. The combination of the tenderness of the meat and strong flavors was delightful!
The generous portions and authentic flavors combined with the amazing service truly made our dining experience memorable. If you’re in the Buena Park area, don’t miss out on this cozy hidden gem!“

“The seafood pancake was incredibly delicious. Such fresh ingredients. The green onions were crunchy and thick. The octopus, fish, and shrimp flavors were the right combination of salty and sweet. The egg batter just perfectly seasoned. And that outside crunch...it spoke to my soul.“

“The best Gob Chang restaurant in the Buena Park area. Food comes out already mostly cooked and is kept hot on small burner, so no bbq smell after eating. Meat quality is great, and their side dishes are the best combination of the meat. Their pork belly is great also. And definitely try their cold noodle.“

“This is a place I often visit. The broth is truly delicious. It's prepared with fresh ingredients, and the sundae is beautifully plated. The kimchi is exceptionally delicious, and I love the variety of side dishes. The best part is the hospitality. I always feel delighted when I visit. When the owner is kind to his guests, everyone respects each other and enjoys the meal.“

“Alright, if you love Korean comfort food, you have to check out Kaju Soft Tofu. They’ve been around for over 30 years, and there’s a reason people keep coming back. This spot is all about rich, cozy flavors — from their signature soft tofu soups, to Korean BBQ, to fresh banchan that tastes like it came right out of someone’s home kitchen. We ate the galbitang, Korean bbq short ribs, and the kalbi tofu soup. Excellent food and service. It’s a definite must try.“

“Language barrier aside, we understand that this restaurant caters to Korean clientele, but please make a bit of a better effort to give more information on the dishes. I mean I love most Korean food I have tried in the past, but I'm up for exploring other Korean flavors.
That being said, the food was exceptional, don't care about the price, I just wish they would have had potato and apple salad too.
I tried it once and I wanted to have some again. No available on the day I visited.
My party guest were very happy with the food...“

“Great first-time dining experience at Fei Xiang Gong Buena Park. If you wanted an alternative to the typical kbbq, I would definitely recommend checking out this place. Our personal faves were the different kebab skewers. Service was a stand-out as well. Our servers were all friendly and helpful.“

“It's a simple but very satisfying restaurant! As the name suggests, the main dish is a combination of rice and soup, and the gentle seasoning that brings out the flavors of the ingredients is appealing. We especially recommend the soup rice, which has plenty of ingredients and is perfectly balanced and nutritious. It's filling, but not heavy, and it leaves you feeling warm and warm even after you've finished eating. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a calm atmosphere, so it's perfect for when you want to have a quick meal by yourself. This is a restaurant that can be recommended for those who are health conscious! Please try it!“
“The side dishes and giblets seasoning were so delicious, and the unglazed cuts were easy to eat, and the water sashimi was also a delicacy.“

“The food is plentiful, comes out quickly, and the taste is average.
But I think it’s only open in the afternoon.
The free popcorn was so soggy that I couldn't eat it, the tofu kimchi was too salty and sour, and the seasoned whelk seemed to have been under-mixed to the point where the sugar was chewy.
Still, it was plentiful because there were a lot of sea bream and dried dried pollack.
Altang is okay.“

“First time visiting The Source and the menu of this fast food restaurant in the 3rd floor food court immediately caught my eye. I ordered the steak tartare and it was one of the best things I ate during my short visit here. It’s a large bowl of seasoned julienned beef that is eaten over rice and bean sprouts. It comes with a small container of Kimchee and a seasoning sauce. There’s also a bowl of soup (miso?) on the side. The soup is a little bland but the steak tartare is absolutely full of flavor and delicious. If I lived here and could come to The Source regularly, I’d order this all the time!Service was quick. I was given a pager when I ordered but my food was ready in less than 3 mins. Restaurant is in a food court so the atmosphere is casual and energetic. Just find a place to sit and enjoy the delicious food.“

“Great spot for Korean bbq but they're not an all you can eat spot, nor do they have combos. Everything is a la carte so it can get pricey. But the food is good. Oh, and always ask for fried rice after the meal. You have to pay for it but it's worth it. Side note, ground gets slippery so wear something that grips. Greasy floors.“
“If you like Korean-based Chinese food this place is definitely one of the best in the area. If you have a big appetite, this place will fill you up. If you have about $16 dollars and don't have a big appetite but want to share a plate with a friend, this place is it. The food court atmosphere in the market is casual and comfy. I had a seafood noodle (gigantic) bowl. The portion was really big. The noodle texture was great. Broth was great.“

“I stopped by this place during lunch hour, I was recommended th Gamja Tang Lunch special by the waitress how seem to primarily speak Korean (good sign the food is legit). The plate was huge and it came in with plenty of little side dishes, as you can see on the picture.Price was super affordable for all the food I was served. This is the first time I've tried this specific plate, but based on pure taste buds, the food was great and I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.“

“I really love Korean-style cold noodles (naengmyeon), and if a place makes their own noodles, I’m always willing to try it. The noodles here were excellent in texture, but the broth was lacking in depth and flavor. While this isn’t a naengmyeon specialty restaurant, if they’re going to keep it on the menu, it might be worth putting a bit more care into the broth. Honestly, the soy-marinated pork ribs and other dishes might be a better choice here than the naengmyeon.
I visited again after a long time and ate soft tofu, cold noodles, and grilled pork ribs in soy sauce. Sundubu is similar in every restaurant, but Korean-style naengmyeon gets high marks because the noodles are made directly . It is not easy to make noodles yourself using a noodle machine. In Korea, only famous cold noodle restaurants make noodles themselves.
The pork ribs were delicious as they had no smell, the meat was soft, and there was a lot of it. The staff were especially friendly, so I didn't regret giving them a tip.
These days, it's hard to eat in a world where tips are so expensive. It's been a while since I've been back, but I always want to visit this restaurant.“

“The restaurant is located in a small retail shopping center, but the accessibility isn't ideal due to its position at a busy intersection. The atmosphere could definitely use some improvement—a few food photos were simply propped up against the wall near the entrance, and the reception area felt a bit chaotic. Overall, the space didn’t feel particularly warm or inviting for customers.
We ordered takeout, and while the 순대국 (blood sausage soup) was excellent and tasted authentic, the 모듬순대 (assorted blood sausages) with three different types was a bit disappointing. The 왕순대 (large sausage) had a slightly chewy skin, and the others felt too moist, lacking the right texture. It felt like it was just 2% short of being great.“

“Located on the top floor of the busy Source OC. It’s a very nice place, with lots of glass windows for excellent views. I liked being seated by the window where we can people watch as the sun sets.
The staff is pretty friendly, though at times felt rushed when they were serving us. We were seated right away 5pm on a Saturday, but I can see it getting busier and busier as the night went on.
The meat quality is good, not the best I’ve had, but overall good quality meats which is reflected in the premium pricing.
The banchan spread is good too, and with kbbq it includes a tofu soup and steamed egg. I’m normally not a fan of the potato salad, but this I enjoyed, The sweet corn made it stand out. The cucumbers were a refreshing sweet. Kimchi, japchae were all delicious. Not sure if we could’ve asked for more as we weren’t offered any more when they took our empty plates.
The beef brisket had a great amount of marbling, which was great. Wish the portion was larger though. Not sure if we should’ve just gotten the combo if the portions are the same. The pork brisket is a pass for us. Not bad by any means, but I’d get something else if we come back
The marinated short rib was probably my favorite dish. The perfect amount of marbling and marinaded well. Juicy and tender.
It was a nice meal overall. While I wouldn’t consider this place a must-try, especially with so many options at the Source, it’s a good place for a quality meal.“

“Love this place.
It's hard to find quality food like this, even in Korean. This is real authentic soul food for Koeeans. The meats are very tender, and broth is savory. No wonder there always is a waiting line. It really worth to wait.
I really want them to expand this location.
Good luck to your business.“

“A hidden gem found by accident as I stayed in the Doubletree by Hilton nearby. Excellent beef dish with sprouts and tried for the first time silkworm pulpo soup which was better than I expected once I got over the idea and look of it. Some drunk noisy obnoxious patrons to be expected but otherwise had a great meal in a small mom and pop Korean resto. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. The waitress was also very nice and although she could not speak very well English she was very polite, nice and attentive.“

“Ordered the duck. The medium size should be fine for 3 to 4 adults. I only had one other person with me and the portion was quite large for just the two of us. It was cooked well and comes with rice plus the usual banchans or korean side dishes. I would definitely order it again. It's in a small plaza but parking wasn't too difficult.“

“This is my favorite 설렁탕 place! But as others have said, they serve clear 설렁탕 that has a really clean taste. Non Koreans, take note! Don’t hate on a place because it’s not to your taste. They provide the best kimchi, green onions and beef dipping sauce. Also don’t forget to put enough salt in your soup!
I always feel healed after eating“

“Very authentic Korean restaurant!!
We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, seafood onion pancake and beef soup. The spicy braised short ribs is so flavorful, it comes with radish and rice cake. The beef soup reminds you in Korea, no MSG! And the seafood onion pancake is huge, good to share. Their banchan also changes everyday!
The service is friendly and many old diners and family in the restaurant- that’s how you know it’s a legit place! There’s dinner rush so come early
Overall if you are looking for authentic Korean food this is the place!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Myungin Dumplings – Buena Park’s Hidden Gem of Korean Comfort
If you find yourself anywhere near Buena Park, Myungin Dumplings is an absolute must-visit. This cozy Korean dumpling house delivers far more than a meal — it’s an experience of warmth, flavor, and care.
I ordered the steamed dumplings with sweet red bean and the steamed dumpling with pork and vegetables, and I’m still dreaming about them. Each order came with four softball-sized dumplings — massive, tender, and generously filled. These weren’t your average restaurant dumplings (which so often feel half-empty). Myungin’s dumplings are overflowing with rich, juicy filling that melts in your mouth. They were soft, pillowy, and as tender as 어머니의 사랑처럼 부드럽다 (a mother’s love).
To start, my table was presented with a spicy daikon salad and a crisp shredded lettuce salad — simple, refreshing, and perfectly balanced against the hearty dumplings. The service was exceptional — kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear that this team takes pride in their food and their guests.
The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and handicap accessible, with a large lot offering free parking. There’s something for everyone here — from meat lovers to vegetarians — and each dish is prepared with care.
I’m heading back home to Seattle this week, and I already know I’ll be longing for my return to Myungin Dumplings. Thankfully, my hotel has a refrigerator, because I fully intend to take some of these heavenly buns home with me — if they make it that far!
Myungin Dumplings isn’t just a restaurant. It’s comfort, generosity, and craftsmanship wrapped in soft, steaming dough. Five stars all the way.“
“I love this place so much, I come here often with friends and the food is always so good. the staff is also very sweet and friendly. Getting the bill takes a little while to get to you, but other than that, I have no complaints. They also let me practice what little Korean I know with them, so thank you!“

“The food was amazing! But the service could have been better, we ordered our sushi and had to wait to get ginger and extra wasabi, probably waited 10 min after receiving food . If this would not have happened would have given 5/5 rating. I will say we dat at the sushi bar and the sushi chef noticed and handed us some ... great sushi!“

“I got the food to go, but I don’t think it’s a good idea. If you’re only 2-3 minutes from the store, it’s okay, but especially noodle dishes get soggy and hard to eat.
To revive the noodles, rinse them with hot water and then pour the broth over them. That’s it!
I revisited this place after a long time. They serve Korean-style Jjamppong in a huge bowl. Since it’s inside HanNam Chain Market, there’s not much atmosphere to mention, but the food quality is just as good as other places, and the prices are about $2-3 cheaper. The other Korean-style Chinese dishes are also delicious. It’s a perfect spot to grab a bite after shopping at the market when you’re feeling a bit hungry.“

“I had an amazing experience at the Kobe Gyukatsu restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the service was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and it really made the whole dining experience special.
The food itself was exceptional. The gyukatsu was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside—and full of rich flavor. Every bite was satisfying and showed the care and quality that went into preparing it. Alongside the main dish, all the sides were fresh and balanced, complementing the meat beautifully.
One of the highlights of the evening was the matcha beer. It was unique, refreshing, and surprisingly smooth, pairing wonderfully with the meal. It’s definitely something I would recommend trying if you visit.
Overall, this restaurant combines excellent service with top-quality food and drinks. I left with a smile, completely satisfied, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.“
