Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. We ordered two EPIC hot lobster rolls (Connecticut style, warm with butter) and although they were delicious, for the EPIC PRICE OF $39 PER ROLL, it was very skimpy compared to what you get for that price in New England. They stack it high in the middle and don’t fill the bun to the ends to make it look super full. It’s not. The New England clam chowder was great though.“

“It's a food truck it is either a hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit expensive but a hit. The seafood cocktail is amazing the juice was savory, the tacos are fire the size were pretty big. It's a truck worth visiting better than most Mariscos restaurants in San Marcos.“

“We had an amazing stay at L'Auberge Del Mar. The hotel was stunning—beautifully updated with modern finishes and stylish furnishings. Our room was exceptional, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, a marble bathroom, and a breathtaking ocean view from the balcony. The hot tub was a perfect temperature for the cool May evening. On Saturday night, there was a gorgeous wedding on the rooftop, and we enjoyed listening to the music from the hot tub. It wrapped up around 10:30 p.m., allowing for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. The staff was extremely courteous, and the valet service was top-notch. We will absolutely return to this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay—don’t hesitate to book your room!“

“Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and was honestly really impressed. My family lives very close by in Rancho Santa Fe so we have been going to the Highlands and now one Paseo for many years and have tried all the different restaurants that have come in and out. I would say that Nick’s is one of the better ones. Inside is really well done, it’s very modern with a very large bar and many different types of seating. I also like how open the restaurant is with giant garage door sized entryways so there is really a nice breeze as you’re eating. It’s attached to a shopping center with free multi storage garage parking. Our server was also very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. They do have a very large bar in the center of the restaurant so you can also stop in for drinks instead of dining if you prefer.

For this first visit I decided to start with the Shrimp Ceviche and honestly loved it. It was the perfect amount of food and really had that powerful lime flavor to it which I love. Next for dinner I chose the Enchiladas Divorciadas and really enjoyed both of them. They had great flavors and were just really enjoyable, the mole sauce was especially rich and was my favorite part. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in or near Del Mar, or to anyone in San Diego searching for a great upscale Mexican dining option.“

“One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Encinitas— A must try! This place feels fresh and inspired. You’re immediately transported to a trendy villa in Mexico with an aire of heritage and culture. The owner is from a successful line of restauranteurs in Mexico. It’s clear he knows what he’s doing from the atmosphere to the cuisine. The chips and salsa are delicious, fresh and unique (all made in house). We ordered the Mole Enchiladas and Tuna Tostadas, which were both incredible and would order again on our next visit. Then, of course, couldn’t resist the finale dessert of churros! (Filled with pastry cream with chocolate dunking sauce on the side). The entire experience was an absolute treat and I can’t wait to go back and introduce more people to this local gem.“
