“Sunday Brunch With Friends - This is the perfect location, nice, clean, fun place with a beautiful view of the ocean! Free parking in the garage behind the restaurant. The main reason we Loved this place and will be back, they have such goooood food and the Breakfast Shots!! You must try the Breakfast shots! Everything we ate was incredible. The stuffed avocado with crab was especially delicious. That is not what I ordered because I am not a big seafood person but I tried my friends and it was incredible. I would order for myself next time. I ordered and loved the Huevos Rancheros, our friends had the crab Benedict and loved it. We had such a great time and we can't wait to visit again! “Pleasantly surprised. There are so many italian places close by. But cicciottis was above expectations. The pasta, gnocchi and pizza was so good. There was no one in the restaurant so we were confused it was even open. But the bartender was doing double duties as bartender and server and was very nice. We were so happy with the quality of the food. There's a few other Italian spots within a quarter mile and they are not nearly as tasty as this was. Bravo.“

Our shrimp meal was overcooked and disappointing. Yes, the flavor was great, but the actual shrimp were TOUGH, check out that curl. Thankfully the heavy-poured drinks made up for the shrimp.“

“I ve had been looking for good baja style fish and shrimp style tacos for a while. I've tried different places for the last couple of weeks. Non were good. Until I found this place. I ordered 2 fish and 3 shrimp tacos. Both fish and shrimp tacos were big and one tortilla only. I could not close the taco due to the piece of fish being huge and the 3 shrimp on each taco were humongous. These are the biggest fish/shrimp tacos I've seen to date. Needles to say I was only able to eat 3 of the 5 tacos. Excellent tacos. Fish tacos are $3, shrimp are $5. Good clean restaurant. Very colorfulul vive. Really good service. The only downside is that everything else on the menus is way more expensive than similar places. No combos with beans and rice for under $20. No quesadilla or burritos for under $17. But if you are looking for baja style fish and shrimp tacos, this is the place.“

I originally posted a review regarding what I believed to be a billing error at Chin’s Carlsbad. However, after speaking directly with a representative, Howard, I want to commend their professionalism and quick response in addressing my concerns.

Howard took the time to go over my receipt in detail, and we discovered that the Point-of-Sale system deducts a portion of sales tax from gift certificates, which initially caused some confusion. After reviewing the proper sales tax calculations, it became clear that my bill was actually correct. In retrospect, I was mistaken, not the restaurant.

I truly appreciate Howard's courteous and professional approach in resolving this issue. It’s a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. Chin’s has always been a family favorite, and I’m happy to say that their integrity and service remain top-notch.“

“We all enjoyed our meals. I would definitely go back. The service was very nice except the restaurant was not busy & they brought out one meal at a time. I had Enchiladas Divorciadas & they were excellent. Others had carnitas which they enjoyed. One person had a combo plate with a carnitas enchilada with mole sauce & a taco. Yummy food!“

Parking: Pokeland is in the middle of the building area surrounded by large parking spots. Can be a bit of a walk to get into if you park close to vons“
