I remember being greeted so warmly by the woman I believe is the owner. We were given complementary dessert and a champagne toast, too. This is a restaurant that lives up to its Michelin star(s)?“

“Although we arrived slightly before dinner time, we got seated right away by Dexter. He was very hospitable and we talked small talk before we ordered food and drinks.
Dexter and his partner Yakob (hope I’m spelling it right) are very professional, friendly and make you feel at home.
The food is delicious, freshly made from scratch and finger licking good. Dexter grew up in the Philippines and also in Malaysia and Singapore. so the food is a perfect fusion from these three countries.
We ordered Lumpia, sinigang soup, Kare-kare, coconut vegetable curry. Portions are very generous.
Overall, an absolute must place to eat while in Carmel. Please do visit this place and give it a try.“

“We chose Seventh & Dolores for our second wedding anniversary dinner, and had a really great night. They surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne 🥂 a sweet gesture that set a celebratory tone. We sat outdoors under the heat lamps and fire pits, which made for a cozy, romantic vibe. ✨

We ordered the Seafood Tower that had shrimp, oysters, tuna tartare, grilled octopus, and caviar, plus a white red & bleu salad and a massive tomahawk steak (around 40 oz) with broccolini. For dessert, we went with the Copa Banana cocktail, the Bougie Pear Cocktail, and the Valrhona Chocolate Terrine. Now, this dessert... layered chocolate decadence topped with honeycomb. So damn good

The seafood tower had highlights. Oysters were fresh, tartar was delish, shrimp was juicy, and the caviar was a nice touch, we definitely did some caviar bumps 😆. The octopus was a little on the salty side for me, but the texture was perfect. The tomahawk was a showstopper. We ordered it rare and it delivered. We even joked about taking the bone home to grill and gnaw on later 😆.

Cocktails & Desserts were next-level. The Copa Banana had that espresso-banana vibe that hit just right. Next time, I'm ordering that UP. The Bougie Pear was exactly what my wife wanted. That Valrhona Chocolate Terrine though…easily one of my favorite bites of the night.

Our server & bussers were friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. The atmosphere was upscale but not stuffy. Vibrant, playing some beats I like. What an enjoyable evening all around.

Pricey? Yeah. Regrets? None. Would we go again? Absolutely. Next time, I’m going for the filet mignon 👀🤤“

“The reviews are SPOT ON!! Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and I love pizza.

Thin crispy crust, cooked all the way to the center. (This is a must for me!) Toppings were cooked to perfection. The amount of toppings was generous. My tastes buds were extremely happy with the flavor! I had pepperoni and red onions, my bestie had the fig and prosciutto with hot honey, which sounds like an unusual combination, but I tasted it and my taste buds approved this one also.

Service was a 10. We were greeted by the chef in the kitchen, as we walked up! Then by a server, then by the server that would be ours, Casey. He was very personable and took the time to actually visit with us for a short time and get to know us.

We chose to sit outside in the gorgeous weather, so I can’t tell you about the inside, but the outside tables were very clean and the chairs comfy to relax in.“

“This is a unique restaurant that make you think you are in Switzerland. The decoration was very Swiss. The food was great. We ordered onion soup, raclette, ham & cheese sandwiches, a Swiss noodle (forgot the name) and chocolate fondue with fruits. Very delicious. The service was great and the ambience was impressive and serene. The price was also reasonable. An excellent dining experience.“

“Our wedding cake from Sweet Reba’s was absolutely perfect! From the very first tasting to the final delivery, Reba and her team were wonderful to work with—kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft.

The cake itself was not only beautifully decorated but truly a showstopper at our reception. The design matched our wedding theme perfectly—elegant, romantic, and detailed down to every flower and ribbon. Guests couldn’t stop taking photos before we even cut into it!

And the flavor? Incredible. Each layer was moist, rich, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just delicious. Our guests are still talking about how good it was (and some even asked for seconds!).

If you want a wedding cake that tastes as amazing as it looks, I can’t recommend Sweet Reba’s Bakery enough. Reba turned our dream cake into reality and made our day even more special.“

We got vegetarian bowl and 2 broccoli cheddar soups unfortunately were disappointed with taste. Very plain. And we eat this type of food all the time.
With kids meal fruits were so-so and our san didn’t eat quesadillas that he usually is a fan of.

“Lepe Cellars was the highlight of our day of wine tasting. It’s a small bar tucked into a shared space with an art gallery, which adds a unique and relaxing vibe. You’re welcome to wander and enjoy the art between pours. The woman who helped us with our tasting was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. Her warm energy and genuine conversation made this stop stand out above all the other tasting rooms we visited. Great wine and even better hospitality.“

Has several Bordeaux blends, a Super Tuscan, and many single varietal bottles. Each wine is a prime example of a California terroir spin on the classics. The tasting was $35 for 5 heavy pour tastes. “This is a beautiful & charming winery nestled in carmel-by-the-sea. We landed on the really delicious Rose which has won the best Rose in Monterey county for the past 13 years. Sarah was our pourer who was super fun to be with, we shared many stories and just is a great person to get to know and hang out with. They also have a bathtub in the wine room that you can have a photo in which is very unique. The outside fire pit table is perfect for the sometimes chili days in caramel when the fog is around or in the winter time. Especially love the breadsticks and nuts that she gave us along with our wine. The Pinot noir that we tried was excellent and was very smooth, complex with a variety of tasting notes, little bit fruit forward and a very drinkable everyday wine.“

“This adorable shop in Carmel by the Sea, had room for our party of 8, a friendly hostess and a lot of history of Silvestri, known for music in many many well known films. “This is one of the better restaurants we ate at during our stay in the Carmel area. Let's start with the service which was excellent. Outdoor patio seating faces the pond with its fountain and distant hills. Of the items we tried (we ended up returning several times) the Tuna & Satsuma Mandarin and the Petite Filet were standouts. My husband claims they make the best hamburger on the coast!“

Wow, the quality of sushi and portions were really generous and good. We got 2 rolls and a sashimi platter, and it was plenty of food. The sashimi was fresh and really good fish.
