“My friend and I shared that Chilean Seabass appetizer, which was outstanding and also the purple sweet potatoes with coconut – turmeric sauce was absolutely delicious. We went on a Friday night and while the restaurant was busy, it wasn't overly crowded and we talked for 45 minutes after we had finished out meal. The noise level was very reasonable and no one looked a scance at us, trying to get us to leave. I've been to Pacific Catch many times but the quality of the food last night was really a step up – – try that Chilean Seabass appetizer with a mango arugula salad“

“Overall I was happy with my visit, but I wasn't wowed either. The highlight here is the food, the fish is excellent, and the amberjack and spot prawn were exceptional. Be prepared to spend at least $50-60 here, realistically you're approaching the $100 mark to leave without needing some supplement. Service was very attentive, and the only negative part was being abruptly informed that our 90 minute booked slot had expired when we tried to order dessert, a warning about the 90 minute slot would have been appreciated.“

“Five stars. My son and I had the Omakase experience at Akiko's in San Francisco, and it was hands down the best sushi we've ever had. Every course was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavors that exceeded our expectations. The chefs' attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident in every bite. The service was equally outstanding, warm, attentive, and perfectly paced from start to finish. The entire evening felt like a true culinary experience rather than just dinner. If you're looking for an unforgettable Omakase in San Francisco, Akiko's is absolutely worth it. Five stars. We can't wait to come back.“

“Great sushi, perfectly prepared and presented. So glad I walked a few more blocks to go there. Small with a very friendly staff (my 2 Buddhi’s) made for enjoyable experience. Come to town at least once a year; plan to be back.“

“Of all of our favorite places to eat, this is one my wife and I count as the very top tier.
The service is always excellent. We've never asked for anything to not receive it or have the item forgotten about, they are always quick to accommodate, and every person who works here is friendly and well mannered.
As for the food, it is the best sushi I've ever had next to Bamboo in Portland (and still, I think I prefer Sushi Tri). When we're travelling, we now frequently overlook sushi places simply because the fear is that we will just miss what we get at Sushi Tri.
We are creatures of habit, so usually, we order any combination of the pork gyoza, the California hand rolls, the King Dragon Roll, the Mount Fuji Roll, and the spicy tuna tacos. More often than not, we will order all of these things, if we aren't trying something new, and often, we'll walk out considering coming right back in for more in a disguise, so we don't look as shameful as we feel wanting more when we're full (but looking ridiculous isn't off the table). Their ramen is also fantastic, and among my favorites.
The dining area is always spotless, and is very comfortable. If you're worried about missing an important game when having dinner out, they've got that covered, too. We've never had too much trouble getting a seat here, but it does get busy, because it is, indeed, the best.
We recommend Sushi Tri to literally anyone who comes into Marin.“

“The food was nice. Very tasty. I like when there is a sampler platter on sushi menus so you can let the chef pick. They had 6 of these and a sushi bowl. I went with combo A. I was pleased with the choice. They have the Kurosawa Kimoto sake here. I love thise stuff. I get the 300ml. I'd get the 720, but the fiance would probably be critical of that decision.“

“You can't always judge on appearances. There was only one other couple seated when we were there for an early dinner. Service was fast and the sushi rolls were outstanding. I would call this a hidden gem. Several more were seated by the time we left but this place deserves more business than we saw.“

“We just moved into the neighborhood and have been trying out new local restaurants — and wow, we’re so glad we found this place! This was our second time coming in, and it honestly reminded us why we couldn’t wait to come back.
The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can taste the difference — they even use real crab, which is one of the many reasons we love it here. Everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious and perfectly cooked.
The service makes the experience even better. Kyle and Jennifer were both so friendly, attentive, and full of great energy. They really made us feel welcome. In the kitchen, Chefs Gary and Jimmy bring not only amazing cooking skills but also great humor and personality — you can feel how much they care about what they do.
There’s something about this place that just feels like home — warm, relaxed, and full of good vibes. It’s definitely become one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!“

“Amazing tucked away place in the Japan Town Market. It is a 7-8 seater sushi bar with the freshest and most delicious nigiri and fish dishes I've had in a while. Such a fun experience and the host was such a delight. He explained things about the traditions and the dishes and it was an overall great experience as a solo diner. I'll be back and be bringing others!“

“Little sushi bar is the cutest little corner restaurant, on a cute and sunny block in Outer Richmond. I ate here about a year ago, during my son's birthday. And then I ordered Takeout today. I was thrilled with the quality of the sashimi. It is hands-down the best quality sashimi in the entire neighborhood. And I've eaten it every sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. I will be back!“

“Highly recommend this hidden gem!
We had a wonderful Father’s Day dinner here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The waitstaff and the friendly girls at the door who seated us were all fantastic—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone took the time to explain the specials and answer questions, which made the experience feel personal and special.
The portions were generous and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. As a nice touch, they even took a Polaroid picture of us with their own camera to commemorate the occasion—what a thoughtful gesture!
This was a great dinner overall, and we’ll definitely be back. Perfect spot for a memorable meal with family. Thank you to the whole team!“

“Got in late and wanted some great sushi for takeout. They were quick, super friendly, and the sushi was truly amazing. Some of the best Takeaway I have had. Would highly recommend eating in or doing Takeaway. Just picking up the environment was great, and more on the laid-back side for how good the sushi was.“

“Good option for sushi take-out, but I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite sushi ever. I’d say it’s a solid upgrade from grocery store sushi but it won’t replace a nice sit down spot where it’s made fresh. Nice to grab for lunch if you work nearby or want to have a picnic. I pre-ordered and the box was sitting out (not refrigerated) and I’m not certain for how long so that seemed odd, but I heard you should wait up to 30mins before eating if it’s straight from the fridge so my hope is the staff did that ahead of time for the pick up orders.“

“Our server, Angela, made the night from go from good to great. Food was good and served quickly, even in a mostly full restaurant. They have a relatively small menu of high quality items. Didn’t save room for dessert. Well worth the trip.“

“Its Order to Go. No seating inside but a nice bench sitting area outside for anyone worked well for us. Checked the menu..its ONLY what is available nothing more..nothing less. Fresh sushi done well. Would love more options but what we had was good. Would not hesitate to eat here again when I am in the area and like a quick bite. Liked all my orders of Hamachi Donburi and mixed sushi..salmon aka saki which I hardly eat these days was fresh and on point. I really enjoyed the scallops hand rolls.“

“It’s easy to find sushi restaurants with high-quality fish these days, but good shari (the rice) is still hard to come by in San Francisco. The moment the chef told everyone to eat the sushi right away, I knew he really knew what he was doing. Sure enough, when he placed it on the plate, the shari gently sank - perfect texture. Saw someone complaining that the rice fell apart… you belong at a place that serves edamame and California rolls 👋 lol“

“Miso soup was good; not super flavorful but at least not overly salty like so many. Donburi was served in a flat plate with protein on top, rather than in the traditional bowl. I like the change; easier to get a mixed chopstick full of protein and rice. There is a lovely outdoor space where you could enjoy watching the bike path traffic but unfortunately it was not usable during my visit due to yellow jackets.“

“We love Keiko Fish! Always very accommodating of our kids and patient. The food is amazing! Recommend going if you are not on a tight timeline as it can get very busy which impacts pace of service. If you are not with kids, best to sit at the bar!“

“We went here for a lunch date and had an amzimg and one of a kind experience! We were sat down quickly, and began ordering with the iPad at the table. We had 2 orders salmon nigiris ($6.95 each), which came with 2 pieces each. The quality of the fish was fresh and delicate, and was a worthy bite. We also ordered a chicken konkatsu bento box which came on a service robot!! The bento came with the fried chicken konkatsu, 3 gyoza pieces, 6 pieces of the California roll, a side salad, and a side of edamame. The chicken was crispy and juicy, but could've been seasoned more thoroughly. The gyoza and sushi were very exceptional, and prepared well. The sushi conveyor was also super cool, and a fun experience 😊. The service was alright, it was a little bit difficult at times to communicate with the server, and sometimes the iPad malfunctioned a bit. Overall very positive and unique experience with the robot and Sushi conveyor!!“

“This was a FABULOUS dinner - I could not have asked for more!! The atmosphere was calm but still lively on this Saturday night. There was jazz playing lightly in the background intermingled with the content chatter of the patrons. I sat outdoors with patio lanterns and kept pleasantly comfortable with warnth coming from overhead heating. My dinner was fantastic, plenty of vegetarian options and I was not feeling rushed but had only a short wait for my order. You know it is great offerings when there is a constant flow of take out orders. The service here was EXCELLENT - ABOVE AND BEYOND!“

“I come here from time to time to order chicken musubis and loco mocos! Feels like the only place that has these. Always very delicious. You have to wait a bit for the order, but that just means it's fresh right?
Not too pricey either. It's a nice place.“

“We had a great experience here! The tuna was fresh and buttery and everything we ordered was delicious. Prices were very good for the quality.
We also tried the chef’s Japanese sushi set. Not every type of fish was our favorite but it was a great way to try a variety of unique fish we hadn’t had before!
The eel hand rolls were another highlight absolutely delicious!
We came during Happy Hour so it was an even better value. The food came out quickly!
We made a reservation in advance. When we arrived there was a tablet to check in but we were seated before we even had a chance to use it haha. Fantastic experience and we’d definitely come back!“

“Blossom special, plentiful and filling, a little too much rice. Prepared nicely, fresh. Staff pleasant. Small seating area inside, space echoes and another patron was talking loudly otp. Ended up eating on a bench outside. Would do takeout from side window and eat at bench next time, two outside picnic benches with communal seating.“
