“We went on Valentine's Day, and it turned out to be such a lovely and memorable experience for both of us at the Brazilian steakhouse. From the start, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and Ellie was especially kind. She checked in on us and made us feel genuinely cared for along with the hostess who was amazing. We even shared how disappointing our Valentine's Day dinner last year had been elsewhere, which made this experience feel like a complete and refreshing opposite in the best way. Everything from the service to the pacing and overall vibe was fantastic, and the food was outstanding, with the seasoned beef easily being our favorite among the delicious cuts. Overall, it was a wonderful Valentine's Day that we'll truly look back on fondly and we will definitely be back again!“

“The menu on the website had no prices. This was our first clue. And seeing the menu in print certainly validated our sleuthy intuition. \nThe food was very good and beautifully presented, no argument there. But over $200 before tip with one starter, two entrees and one dessert felt overpriced to me. Portions were sized well - they seemed small but were satisfying and we didn’t leave hungry. \nThe music was also a bit too loud, although I connected to the playlist. \nOverall a decent experience. I wouldn’t necessarily revisit, but would recommend with the cost caveat.“

“Eddie V's is a place I love to go to an have events an conferee dinners. Last Night I made reservations that early morning which was yesterday 1/24/26 for 8pm. When we got there 7:45 athe concierge greeted us great and told us they are preparing our table right now. The young lady behind the counter got mad an told him no it will be at 8. So he repeated it to us and told us we could stand there or go over to the bar and have a seat and they will come get us. while at the bar service was very slow and asked for a jack an coke they had 0 bottles of jack. Next they finally came to get us at which was 8:45. This wasn't the way to start a 28 year anniversary. When every anniversary we go to Eddie's. But this time it was just so different.“

“The staff was great and very friendly, but service was slow and it was very loud inside. Granted it was a Saturday night so understandable that they would be busier than maybe during the week and livelier. My salmon was excellent and my crab cake was perfect. The steaks we ordered were great and my toddler loved his French fries 🤣🤣. Very cute interior and i definitely want to come back. Parking sucks...again because it was a busy weekend night so leave early and be prepared to park on street b/c the lot fills up. Thank you for a great night overall.“

“I had the fish and chips from the pub menu. Now I'm not a big seafood eater but I do like it. Anyway, the cod was just a bit fishy in taste, but over all pretty good. The Old Fashions were the bomb. The night we were there was when they celebrated Robert Burns and his ode to haggis...a delightful evening.“

“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“We had an amazing experience at the Georgian Room last night. The speakeasy style steakhouse inside the Georgian Hotel has an incredible ambiance that feels intimate and stylish, elevated even more by fantastic live music throughout the evening.

We started by sharing the Caesar salad and the blue prawns, both of which were absolutely delicious and a perfect way to kick things off. For mains, I ordered the steak frites, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, while my girlfriend had the smash burger; simple, classic and seriously tasty. The cocktails were also excellent and thoughtfully crafted, and they had a great wine selection as well.

The service truly stood out and was one of the best parts of the entire night. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our waiter, Renee, was incredibly attentive, made great recommendations, and was genuinely kind all evening. Allen, the manager, also checked in on us and made us feel very welcome. Since we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, they even surprised us with dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, drinks, music and hospitality. I will definitely be coming back.“

We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. “This review is for dining on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at LA Prime Steakhouse at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. I apologize in advance for this lengthy review. 😊 Overall, our party of 4 had a very enjoyable evening. We arrived about 15 minutes before our 6pm reservations and had our pick for a table right by the windows facing North. The sky was clear, the view of the city below us and the mountains in the distance was great. The service was excellent from our servers Mark & Maria (aka M&M as they mentioned and made it very easy to remember their names 😊). Both were very friendly and attentive. The pace for our evening was exceptional. We did not feel rushed, were given ample time to browse the menu, enjoy our drinks and starters before the entrees were brought out. Mark or Maria would periodically come by to ask how our meal was, if we wanted another drink, whether we needed anything else and with the refills of water and coffee. Now, as for the food, I will say it was “good”, but not exceptional or 5 stars. Starters: Wagyu Carpaccio, Oysters Rockefeller & 2 orders Escargot – I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller. They were about medium sized oysters and somewhat tasty. I was disappointed that they oysters were not released from the shell before cooking, making it difficult and messy to scrape out of the shell or to use a knife to release the oyster. Others that tried the oysters had the same issue. I tried one escargot and found the size to be pretty small. They definitely needed more garlic, more butter and some parsley or herbs. Others felt the same. One of the best parts I enjoy with escargot is using the bread to dip into the garlic butter sauce. YUM. Entrees: 2 Prime Rib entrees (1 medium rare & 1 end cut). Good portions as menu states 18 oz., tender, good marbling, looked delicious. I had the end cut expecting bold flavors from the seasoning, but found it lacking in flavor. The horseradish and au jus helped a little. The Yorkshire Pudding was a bit strange. It was not at all what I was expecting. I’m accustomed to something like a mini Dutch baby pancake or it being light and airy with a big puff crown top, like I would get at Lawry’s or Tam O’Shanter. What we got was somewhat dense, maybe collapsed, muffin shaped and something I would not have guessed as a Yorkshire Pudding by the looks or taste of it. Party also ordered the Lobster Thermidor and the Filet Mignon with Lobster Tail. Filet was cooked nicely and was tender. The Lobster Thermidor and Lobster Tail was not tender, somewhat dry and a bit chewy. I’m not sure if it was the quality or maybe being overcooked. They did not enjoy these entrees. Sides: Asparagus Spears with Hollandaise Sauce were nicely cooked. Sauteed Mushroom Ragout – I think this was mostly chanterelle mushrooms. Do not recall any shitake or button mushrooms. I did not care for this. Creamed Spinach looked good, but I did not try this. After dinner, we looked at the city lights from our window table and enjoyed the delicious Starbucks coffee they served. We didn’t leave any room for desserts. SUMMARY: Ambiance & View – 5 out of 5 Stars Service – 5 out of 5 Stars Food – 4 out of 5 Stars Great place to try at least once. Food may be a bit overpriced and overall under seasoned. Service was excellent. You’re mainly paying for the view and experience. Our party had a great time and wonderful evening there. Would I go again anytime soon… probably not. There are too many restaurants in the city to try and there are always new ones popping up.“
