“Decent Taiwanese styled Chinese food located inside of the H Mart Plaza. It offers a wide range of dishes. It also has goose meat, which I used to love at this restaurant. They have now brought the goose dish back and I will try it on our next visit. On weekdays, it has a lunch special menu that offers a quick lunch at a reasonable price, including the Beef Noodle Soup. My rice noodle was fine, except it got a lot smaller than what I can remember. No thanks to inflation.“

“This has been my go-to comfort food spot whenever I miss home. The 香菇滷肉飯 (mushroom braised pork rice), 雞排飯 (baked bonless chicken rice), and 米糕 (mi kao) are all tasty—portions are just right. If you’re a fan of stinky tofu, it’s a must-try here too. Definitely worth visiting!“

“My five star rating is for the House Special Dragon Hair, also known as Dragon Whiskers, Dragon Beard, or Chayote Vines.

Served as a cold dish, it was fresh and crisp, definitely something you will crave again! I wish more restaurants served this vegetable entree!

As you can see below (I added photos for the entire Eat Joy Food menu) they have a massive menu of Taiwanese banquet style food options. So many items that it was a bit overwhelming but luckily we had a Taiwanese friend do the ordering for us.

As for ambiance, it’s average but the stinky tofu smell in the air was a bit tough to deal with. Pricing is a bit on the high end compared to Java Cafe (another Taiwanese spot nearby).“

“Great place for hot pot super flavorful sauces I loved the sesame peanut one and the variety of the sauces were fantastic. It is tucked away but thanks to Yelp we found the review helpful. I recommend the Taiwanese version with very spicy and the beef one if you have little ones. Will come back! Great service as well.“

“We visited Dago Taiwanese Cuisine in Chino Hills and tried three dishes:

1. Popcorn Chicken with Rice (鹽酥雞飯)
This was our favorite! The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rice.

2. Noodle with Fried Pork Chop (Soup) (炸排骨湯麵)
The pork chop was delicious. My son loves noodle soup, but not this one because the noodles were too soft and lacked the chewy texture. He did not want to eat any more. Hope the chef can improve the noodles to make the dish more enjoyable.

3. Hot and Sour Chicken with Rice (椒麻雞飯)
The chicken was tasty, but the dipping sauce wasn’t to our taste. We found the dish better without the sauce.

Next time if we are in Chino Hills, we will definitely return to try more dishes.“

“We come here often because we love the food. I just don't understand how you run out of rice! It has happened at least 3 -4 times that we've come, and we have to wait until the next batch is ready. Just crazy... need another rice steamer.“

“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.“

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“Long story but me and my friends needed to eat really fast because we had to be somewhere and because of the rush we were being a bit confusing but the employee there was still very chill about it and had amazing customer service. Our group as a whole ordered a bunch of side dishes and one main dish but the food still came out in a jiffy fresh, tasty, and hot. “The food was really good! I ordered several classic dishes and asked them to reduce the spiciness for my friends who are more sensitive to spicy foods, and it was about right. I would recommend you to leave it as is if you enjoy spicy foods, however. Their beef noodle soup was nothing special, but their fish and other dishes were amazing. I'll have to come back to try their dumplings sometime, because I saw many people having it and I came during an off hour time. Parking was easy to find but it was a very small parking lot.“

“They deep fry their meats really well. I tried the popcorn chicken, fried pork chop, and red grain pork. All had a nice starchy and lightly crispy crust with moist meat inside. It’s like they applied the Taiwanese popcorn chicken crust to the pork chop and red grain pork, which is a good thing because I think their popcorn chicken is exceptional. (Note: I’m used to the pork chop being fried differently and I’ve never had red grain pork before.) From the photos, I was afraid the red grain pork would be dry and not taste good, based on my experience with HK style char siu, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and moist it actually was.“

“Discounting the hype caused by TT causing insane lines, it's good quality tea but a little...kitschy? The moment you want to order tea rather than a milk tea/tea latte, which is my preference, the tea tastes over-steeped. They go on about their unique brewer which seems so unnecessarily large for what it does and you can't adjust it based on whether or not you're adding milk or not?

The workers here are basically on an assembly line, but in a way where it doesn't feel optimized for the space and output. If you're going for that method, go all the way. I do like that they at least switch people around so it's not a whole hours shift of open container, measure tea, close container, open container, measure tea, close container, etc.

So boba in most boba places is on a level that's so good now, I expect any boba place to have stellar boba (gone are the days of shrugging off the powdery hard center), and the boba here is...just okay? I don't know, I can't quite place a finger on why I feel that way. Is the size smaller than other places? Whatever it is, I end up ordering the grass jelly here which is very, very good.“

“Taiwanese fast food self serve restaurant. Lunchtime (Sunday) is very hard to get a seat before 2 pm so take out maybe a better opinion. Noodles are very delicious and al dente. Soy Wild Mango is very good, and not too sweet. Pork Chop and Porksticks can be slightly salty but overall is good. Probably the cheap eats here because no tips included, and come back to try more next time.“
