“Decent Taiwanese styled Chinese food located inside of the H Mart Plaza. It offers a wide range of dishes. It also has goose meat, which I used to love at this restaurant. They have now brought the goose dish back and I will try it on our next visit. On weekdays, it has a lunch special menu that offers a quick lunch at a reasonable price, including the Beef Noodle Soup. My rice noodle was fine, except it got a lot smaller than what I can remember. No thanks to inflation.“

“This has been my go-to comfort food spot whenever I miss home. The 香菇滷肉飯 (mushroom braised pork rice), 雞排飯 (baked bonless chicken rice), and 米糕 (mi kao) are all tasty—portions are just right. If you’re a fan of stinky tofu, it’s a must-try here too. Definitely worth visiting!“

“My five star rating is for the House Special Dragon Hair, also known as Dragon Whiskers, Dragon Beard, or Chayote Vines.

Served as a cold dish, it was fresh and crisp, definitely something you will crave again! I wish more restaurants served this vegetable entree!

As you can see below (I added photos for the entire Eat Joy Food menu) they have a massive menu of Taiwanese banquet style food options. So many items that it was a bit overwhelming but luckily we had a Taiwanese friend do the ordering for us.

As for ambiance, it’s average but the stinky tofu smell in the air was a bit tough to deal with. Pricing is a bit on the high end compared to Java Cafe (another Taiwanese spot nearby).“

“we got our rolls within about 5 minutes of ordering and they were great. even cold the roasted duck wrap smacked and are fairly filling. found out about this place through a friend of mine and now recommending it to everyone.

“Found a gem in walnut, came here with a craving of the Shanghainese food. A must order dish is their fried rice cake with mixed beef bits radish and shrimp. Loved their vibe and the service was quick and friendly. Enjoyed all the dishes with no disappointment, the price was fair and portions were big!“

“The place was very empty when I got there, therefore we were able to be seated quickly. The food was fresh and it was tasty. I was worried and checked the ratings online to make sure it was legit. lol.

The bad part is that there isn’t enough workers so it’s hard to get their attention when they’re cooking.

They charge per the big plates that you get from the fridge. Worth the try! I consider this as a go to comfort food 😋“

“Menu is virtual, but everyone at the table can add their order to the same order for the whole table. Pretty cool and the menu is pretty expensive. Interesting options you likely won't find many other places.

“First time coming here and it was busy right when they opened, but it was easy to be seated. The steamed dumplings were flavorful & the steamed pork buns were super tasty and had a nice softness to them. Fair warning the parking in this plaza can be tough.“

“Finally sat down for breakfast at a place that we frequent!!! We always drop by to get their frozen dumplings because they are great value for money but we’ve never actually had their other items. So happy to finally sit down for breakfast. The soy beancurd was pretty good value for money. The serving was huge! The sugar syrup was a little sweet but I can imagine kids loving it. The daikon cake was crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. The sweet rice roll was really interesting. Love it! It was soooo filling though!“

“Long story but me and my friends needed to eat really fast because we had to be somewhere and because of the rush we were being a bit confusing but the employee there was still very chill about it and had amazing customer service. Our group as a whole ordered a bunch of side dishes and one main dish but the food still came out in a jiffy fresh, tasty, and hot. I feel really bad because I didn’t give a tip for how well of a job they did since we were in such a rush but I wanted to leave a review on how good this place is.“

“The food was really good! I ordered several classic dishes and asked them to reduce the spiciness for my friends who are more sensitive to spicy foods, and it was about right. I would recommend you to leave it as is if you enjoy spicy foods, however. Their beef noodle soup was nothing special, but their fish and other dishes were amazing. I'll have to come back to try their dumplings sometime, because I saw many people having it and I came during an off hour time. Parking was easy to find but it was a very small parking lot.“

“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.“

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“I have been to Monja since my high school time. It is a very convenient place to eat quick and nice food. They have the best noodles and the best fried salted chicken. “We got the beef & beef tendons& beef tripe with rice noodles mild spicy but honestly I ordered some chili paste to make it more spicy. We also got a side of Inoke mushrooms wrapped in beef were really good and it’s tasted so good if you put them in the broth of the beef soup. We also got the strawberry oolong tea drink and that made the food taste even better. The sweet lady who served us was helpful and nice. She even gave us water as we waited for our food. Seats are limited so first come first serve but dining in was a good experience. In total we spent 57$ for all of that.“

“I came here with my cousins through recommendation and I honestly really liked it. The drinks were flavorful and had a strong tea taste to it. Each was very unique, many of the options being ones that I had never seen before. I tried something new and it was pretty good. It tasted different from any other boba I’ve had and I’d love to go again and try something else. One thing to note is the long wait times for ordering and receiving drinks, as well as the congestion when it gets busy because this place is pretty small. They do have some seating inside though. The inside is relatively clean and it’s nice to see the workers actively making the drinks.“

“So this place replaced the location for breadfish, and I heard of the name before. They have very similar menu items but a lot more variety. I got a chance to try their crispy chicken over rice. The chicken was really good wish it was just a little bit more crispy but since I had it ToGo it might be a factor of moisture. The tofu and the egg is really good here with marinated in Taiwanese spices. Overall the food is exactly what I expected and it more than enough for one person. Would definitely recommend trying!“

“Me and my husband love the guppy house! We always order the spam fried rice, brick toast, shaved ice, popcorn chicken, and it’s always delicious. Everyone who works there is super nice. We drive about an hour to go here and it’s extremely worth it.“

The establishment is pretty much self-service based with a large open dining area with communal tables in the middle and two seat booths along the side walls.

Ordered their combo dumpling bowl with hot & sour soup, pork chop, house noodles, mala spicy beef noodles soup, and oolong milk tea with Bob and pudding.

Place order via kiosk. It was easy to navigate and see what the dish you're ordering looks like.“
