“I have been to the Parthenon a couple of times for the chicken souvlaki and the octopus which are my personal favorites but it just became my favorite brunch spot! the platter that comes with everything from pancakes with Nutella to scrambled eggs and feta cheese fullfilled every craving I had for brunch.
More importantly they have mimosas! Zami recommended the grapefruit mimosa and it was delicious and refreshing. Their Greek coffee is amazing and a great way to end the meal.“

“Loved the halloumi for starters with fruits to balance the saltiness. The feast for 2 was definitely more than enough for me and my friend, a good option to sample all their meats. I liked the chicken and shrimp the most. The side of rice was surprisingly tasty too and not just plain rice. Staff and service is topnotch and very attentive. The ambiance is very nice. Price is reasonable for what you’re getting. Street parking only but there’s a free parking lot across the street near Safeway. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!“

“Nick the Greek is always a spot that's fairly consistent across all of their locations (at least the ones I've been to). It was nice to be greeted when I walked in and the cashier had welcomed me in with a smile. It's been a while since someone welcomed me or my friends into a restaurant with a smile, so this was appreciated. This location also had plenty of seats and since I went during lunch, I could really sit anywhere.“

“I ordered the Salmon plater it was fresh, the rice was so good and instead of hummus I ordered salad which was also great, and the thin bread omg it was amazing everything was delicious. The price it's right loved it!! I just started working around the area so I had a great experience it clean and smelled clean.“

“Finally ate here and the food is really quite good. Mezze platter was delicious and I was able to get gluten free pita! They also have a lot of vegetarian options, many featuring impossible meat. So I had the Impossible wrap and it’s really well spiced, very tasty and huge! Leftovers! The only disappointment was the spanakopita which was very bland and didn’t seem to have any feta in it. My mom was very disappointed. They offered to remake it which was very nice. We’ll be back!“

“Great lunch spot! Oakland has lost so many Greek restaurants lately I was happy to find this spot. Open only weekdays for lunch the menu is solid but not overwhelming. Lamb/ beef gyro was tasty as was the side dish-we tried the fries and the salad.. Service was excellent and food was cooked fresh and quickly! Dining area has nice light and good amount of space. We will definitely be back!“

“I give the highest caterer recommendation to Ikaros To Go (catering by the team that ran Ikaros restaurant). They planned and managed a very delicious memorial dinner for us for approximately 75 guests. The customer service and food were excellent - our menu included roasted salmon, vegetarian mousaka, rice, Greek salad and garlic bread, plus dessert of Baklava and sugar cookies which everyone also loved. They also handled dinnerware, water, lots of set up and clean up, soft drinks and pretty bottled Greek waters for the tables. They were extremely considerate, thoughtful, flexible, organized and reliable. Ikaros to Go went above and beyond and made our event very special. We are very grateful - Thank you Ikaros to Go!“

“A great spot to stop by with the weather improving.

Even though not too busy on a friday midday the food was fresh and more than filled me up for $15.

Had a minor issue that was resolved quickly and guys were super nice.

The atmosphere at the parklet setup was good too.

“When you take in the interior—and what an intricate, atmospheric setting it is—your eye is drawn upward to a wooden trellis framing the entryway. Suspended from its crossbeams, hangers hold a vertical line of potted Golden Pothos plant. Couple of wine barrels are balanced above them across the beams. The crisscrossing of wooden stumps within this midair edifice, with its jutting arms, resembles a quiet, yogic position beneath warm glass globe lights. Is this installation art?

At the end of this front hallway is a hanging pot rack doubles as a lighting fixture, while copper-colored cookware reflect the light.

The black-and-white photographs of historic San Francisco against the warm wooden walls make this restaurant a veritable gallery.

I can’t help being impressed by the thoughtfulness of the interior design as I spoon the subtle textures of lentil soup, followed by fresh, creamy hummus centered with spice, as I read an excellent novel.

“Love coming to SF! Had a moment to grab a meal and heard of Nick's! Awesome food and atmosphere! Laid-back, no issues, Love Gyros! Ever since my time overseas in Europe I try and grab a gyro a few times a year and was excited this was around the corner from me here! I like cold tea with my meal and that wasn't an option, it was a bottled and warm.“

“We wanted a quick, healthy lunch. In our group, we had a dietary issue with fatty foods and a severe gluten allergy. The Cafe Elena team were wonderful. All our meals were really good. The lunch area was quiet with ample seating. We would eat there any time we were in the area.“

“Monday night went to dinner with 5 friends. It was our second time at the restaurant. We ate there in March. The waiter and bartender remembered us and welcomed us back. I had the Lamb chops they were delicious. Cooked to perfection came with an asparagus risotto and roasted sweet potatoes. Fantastic. Great cocktails. We have eaten at almost every steakhouse in San Francisco. This to me probably number one. The Manhattan I had was definitely the best I ever had and I have been a bartender for 48 plus years. This is my first ever review I have ever written. Our group eats at many restaurants. Each person gets to take turns picking the restaurant. Not often do all of us have no complaints about the food. I will be back.“

“Fast, affordable, and good food! Despite convention traffic they kept the line moving at a solid pace, and only took about 5 minutes from ordering to get the food out. Would recommend to anyone at the Moscone Center who doesn’t want to wait for a meal.“

“Our work just got us this pizza for lunch after a bike ride and I have to say as a square pizza lover; it was amazing. Not greasy, fresh ingredients even being delivered and amazing cheesy-crust edges. 5 stars pizza for sure. Btw the staff was able to accommodate a pizza for 35 people with very little notice. Sadly I ate it all before taking a pic!“
