“The food was great the pork and cabbage dumplings with soy sauce were bomb. Ordered both bafang signature ramen and another spicy ramen but they both tasted almost the same and almost no spicy so if you add more chili sauce that they provide be generous with it to get the spice. I also got the mini wonton soup which was also really good, the wontons were perfect no complaints and the broth was a great compliment to the wontons. If you like more flavor fry mixing in the chili sauce and some ginger sauce that they have in and trust it elevates it a lot. Their soy mango drink is also really good not too sweet and I added boba which went really good with it. 9/10 would definitely go again but not so much for the ramen because there want enough spice to call it spicy and both spicy ramens tasted the same.“
“This is an interesting spot. It's in a mall where many of the signs don't even bother with English which is a good sign. You know you will probably get something authentic. I was passing through the area and came solo for lunch. The main dining area was filled with large round tables and was filled with customers. I was ushered to a small room with small tables for small parties like me. I asked what they were famous for and she directed me to the black cod. At $42 it was a bit pricey for lunch so I went for the three cup casserole with chicken.I'd say the food was good. Didn't blow my socks off but I would definitely come back. Service was great.“
“Was craving for some quick hotpot on a cold day and this place definitely hit the spot I tried their stinky tofu hotpot and it did not disappoint. There's a decent amount of meat in there and other ingredients as well. I wish the broth was a bit stronger in terms of flavor but it was delicious. They have a sauce station where you get to put together your own sauce. Service was friendly and the food didn't take too long to come out. I actually prefer this over boiling point because of the less wait and the food is just as good, if not better.“

“This reminds me a little bit of the rolls you'd find in Taipei food markets...got me feeling a little bit nostalgic :') It's definitely a unique food that you normally don't see very often across SGV/626 regions. Don't sleep on it, give this place a try! Very friendly owners as well. We were told that the most popular options was the Spicy Fried Chicken and the Marinated Beef. Both were good! I liked the spicy fried chicken just a tad bit more. Loved how crispy the chicken was! I definitely want to go back and try the Cumin Lamb as that was also another popular option. We ordered the regular size and surprisingly satisfied our hunger for me and my bf. I think the large size means they give more meat - not that the roll is bigger. If you have a big appetite, I think this could also be a great option for a snack!“
“After three visits here, I feel like I can give a good review of the menu. Cindy's Kitchen is a hole in the wall that only seats about 18 people so it looks like some regulars opt to order food to go. They have a wide variety of options from noodle dishes to stir fry dishes to rice bowl options so there's something for everyone. They also make/sell frozen XLB, wontons, buns and dumplings which I've not tried. Unfortunately, they don't sell XLB for dine in customers but they do offer dumplings and wontons. Beyond all this, they have many cold dishes at the deli counter and most of these are pretty good so they can compliment the stir fry dishes. As other have noted, they only have 1 person in the front of house so service may be slower. I think there's only 2 people in the kitchen. In my three dinner visits, I only saw one non-Chinese speaking table so I have no idea how well the waitress can communicate in English but there is English on the menu as well as on all the signs for the sides and frozen foods for sale. “The food and service have improved significantly since we dined in 2 years ago. Everything we ordered, from combination fried rice, sausage rice to joy pot, were excellent and big portions. Milk tea is consistently good and tastes like authentic tea not some fake powdery stuff. Staff were great and food came out quickly. We will visit there more often.“

The meal tastes home-cooked.This is a great option if you need something that feels like home.Bento box menu is in Cantonese and changes out every 2 weeks. There might be a regular menu, but I can't read Cantonese. “I've been looking forward to trying bafang and it did not disappoint! For $13 you can get 6 potstickers and a nice sized bowl of noodles! Although none of the food blew me away I thought everything I had was tasty and was great quality for mall food (especially for the price). The potstickers had good flavor and went well with their sauces but they could be a bit more crispy. The noodles were really nice and chewy and had great sauces! Service was quick and we got our food in about 10 minutes. The worker was nice and explained their menu to us when we asked. Overall a great addition to brea mall and I would recommend people give it a try!“
“This place does hit the spot when you are craving some soup. It's a small hole in the wall where there is just 1 cook and a server/cook. The server fries stuff as well if you order anything that needs frying. I like the old man's soup that has a little bit of tendon, beef, and tripe. Little veggies but it is enough for one person. Great on a cold day. Only bad part is that if the server goes out for a smoke, he smokes right by the door and you can smell it inside. They also don't ask if you want anything to drink like water so you gotta tell them if you want anything and not assume you'll automatically get it. Other than drinks, beef noodle soup is good. The tonkatsu ramen was a bit salty but noodles where still good. Will come back for my beef soup.“

“I've been going here for years and use to get their popcorn chicken over rice but the last few times I've gotten it, the popcorn chicken were super large pieces and I don't think all the pieces were fully cooked. (Eek) Now my go to is the ground pork and mushroom dry noodles with thick noodles. Add some spicy to it and it's perfect! My husband really likes their red grain pork. The space is small but they do have a few tables outside, if it's full inside. The Staff are friendly and normally really quick to address anything you need. Recommend if you're looking for a decent Taiwanese meal in the area.“

Today, we had the 3-cup chicken, which was made up with one cup of chicken, one cup of cooking wine and one cup of garlics. Overall, it was delicious but just a bit too sweet. The other dish we had was the stewed pork over rice and it was decent. This place’s top choice is the traditional beef noodles where you can order all beef meat or 1/2 beef meat and 1/2 tendons. I’ve tried the 1/2 beef meat and 1/2 tendons before and it was pretty good. “Lambs Hot Pot A couple of days ago, my dear friend, a good cook herself, highly recommended the lambs hot pot. I am not a lamb enthusiast, I don't like it's heavy smell; but today I decided to give it a try. When the courteous server brought me the hot pot on a burner, the steaming aromatic in the air was a relieve from my concern. The bite size cut meat with bones and skin stewed with mixed ingredients, including cabbage, fish balls, mushrooms, sliced gingers, tofu, jujubi and herbs was plenty. The broth had a little bit of sweetness, was tasty and balanced. The meal came with a bowl of rice noodle and a small side dish of appetizer. Good for a chilly day.“
“I went to buy takeout on chinese new year. the long queue of lines compared to the restaurant next door was a telling sign the food here must be good. We ordered the beef chow fun and fish fillets. They were still warm and tasty by the time I brought it home. My parents liked the food at this location. We definitely want to come back here to try more of the dishes when we have another family gathering. The waiter that helped take my order was kind even with all the chaos of the chinese new year. My order took a little bit longer to come back due to the large crowds but I was able to run other errands and come back for my food on time when my food was ready.“

“The location has a nice ambiance and is relatively clean inside. The people working there were able to get two drinks done in 5 minutes or so and answered the questions I had regarding their sweetener levels and typical drinks quickly. We ordered a matcha milk tea and peach mango berry slushy. The slushy is very sweet at the default sweetness (if you enjoy fruity drinks with a lot of sugar this would be a good pick) and had actual chunks of the fruit in it, which is a fairly good feature. However, the matcha milk tea did not seem to have much matcha in it at all (notably lacking the flavor and color, giving off the impression of too much milk) and tasted something like a Hokkaido roasted milk tea rather than matcha. Despite this, their boba was very chewy and flavorful so I am giving it 4 stars for the other drink and the boba texture.“

Some of it is probably service related, some of it is from the age of the venue and that there have not been many updates made since they opened. However, I have been going to Cocary on and off since I was about 6/7, since before they were at this location and started down the street.For me, it's been consistent. I know what I'm craving when I go and I know what I'm going to get.My go tos are veggies and mushrooms in the soup with the occasional pork blood cubes. Lamb for BBQ on the grill portion. Usually white rice but the occasional craving for the yam congee. I can usually go through 2-3 plates of the lamb and just whatever veggies I have room for that day.One of my favorites is the broth. I will usually sit there and go through 3-4 bowls of broth each time I'm there.Two complaints that I do have, it's hard to keep the grill portion of the cooktop hot enough to get color on the meat while also not hard boiling everything in the pot. If the soup becomes too condensed, then I just add some water so it doesn't get too salty.And on a hot summer day, the AC isn't on very high in the dining room. It usually set to 82-84 and eating hot pot causes sweat but I still go anyways lol. Just drink enough ice water and eat quick.I know that sometimes when it gets busy, it takes a while for them to round back to the table for service. I don't mind getting things like water, broth or extra bowls and plates on my own since they are out in the open area and easily accessible for guests. Since you already have to cook the food yourself, I don't mind self-service add-ons either.I also tend to go for lunch when there is a discount. So I can usually fill my belly and go home happy at around $25.Definitely a place I will be visiting often.“

Inside is a tad crowded due to the wait on drinks and limited seating space I ordered the peach series-- peach ding ding oolong with Mouse. They don't allow customized toppings for the limited series sadly. This particular drink itself was ok. The tea itself was good, but the peach flavor wasn't it for me as a person who much prefers Japanese white peach. Theirs just had a more syrupy taste rather than a bright, fruity flavor. The steak was juicy and tender, placed atop spaghetti noodles on a sizzling iron plate covered in the black pepper sauce, which added a flavorful but subtly spicy kick. Additionally, I added some ketchup to the spaghetti for a sweet and tangy flavor (optional and rooted in childhood nostalgia).The pig's blood rice cake was a bit on the dry side.I'd recommend sticking to the sizzling steak, as it appears to be their specialty.Service was excellent!“

“Passed this place so many times and never tried it. The service was great, really small little noodle place. Next time I will try the noodles but ordered the pork dumplings and pork potstickers also the scallion pancakes. All were really delicious, it took about 30 minutes to get the dumplings and potstickers though which was kinda of a long wait for nobody being there. But they were super friendly and kind, got a dr pepper for a drink.
