The soups were delicious, the smash burger smelled good(didn’t taste it was for my young son) which he said was good, the arugula salad so tasty and the pink power salad was indescribable(that good) definitely coming back again. “The Baseline: For a seafood fast casual restaurant the fish/seafood needs to be fresh, the presentation of the food should be comforting and respect the delicacy of the seafood, and there must be a selection of accompanying offerings.

Food: The lobster is high quality here and the preparation is excellent. The Lobster Roll sampler is really good to try the different preparations. The full lobster roll is meaty and filling. The chips are nice but wish I had fries. The soda selection is awesome (got a Maine Blueberry soda). The price is what you get when you order the lobster.

Service: Counter order deliver to your table service. Good and efficient.

Ambiance: The restaurant is really well presented and has good decor. The bathroom was clean. The seating was well laid out and the lighting was good in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the outside is Santa Monica 2025 and is sketchy at night (not the restaurant’s fault)“

We hosted a gathering for more than 75 residents, and Olive Garden catered our meal. The food was wonderful, but we noticed one item was missing. I reached out, but with so much happening, I wasn’t able to follow up.

What happened next genuinely touched me: Javon arrived in person before the event even ended, carrying the missing item, a gift card, and a warm, sincere smile. It wasn’t just the fact that he fixed the mistake—it was the care, the thoughtfulness, and the effort he put into making things right. “Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

27. Maeun Deung-Galbi Jjim (Spicy Braised Beef Short Ribs)
The portion was generous—five large beef ribs served with pumpkin, rice cakes, and potatoes, all simmering together. The staff kindly offered to cut the ribs and pumpkin into bite-sized pieces, and they did it carefully, making everything easy to eat. The meat was fall-apart tender and well-seasoned, without being overly rich.
But the highlight: adding the melted cheese on top. Watching the cheese stretch over the ribs was worth it alone—so aromatic and satisfying. At $55, this pot easily feeds three people. Great value.

13. Wang Galbi Tang (Premium Beef Rib Soup)
The broth was clear yet deeply flavorful, clearly slow-simmered for hours. The beef rib was so tender it fell off the bone with a gentle nudge of the chopsticks. Comforting and wholesome.

8. Seok Uh Sulung Tang (Beef Tongue & Brisket Soup)
A milder, clean-tasting soup packed with thinly sliced beef brisket, cheek meat, knee cartilage, and glass noodles. The beef tongue was tender, and the cartilage had a nice chew. A dash of the provided black pepper and salt brightened the flavors perfectly.

We also tried the meat dumplings—thin skin filled with pork and chives, simple but well-made.

This isn’t a flashy spot, but the food feels sincere and hearty. If you appreciate honest, homestyle Korean cooking, this place deserves a visit.
