“We happened to come here on the last day of the season in November (aka: free ice cream day!).
Even if we HAD paid for it, it was delicious ice cream. There was a wood burning stove, lots of cool things to look at on thr walls, and fun little details from the parking lot all the way to the hot cocoa bar.
My bf and I already are planning on coming back next time we're in Tahoe.

Parking: Specially-designated handicap parking spot right up front.

Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely wheelchair accessible. I'm in a manual wheelchair and had no problem getting around.“

“Another of our favorites when visiting the North shore of Lake Tahoe. Cozy, Cabin-ey feel, right on the golf course in the woods. The meals have been delightful, the wait staff does a great job with probably too many tables/customers. The bartender is knowledgeable and experienced. Lots of good wine info. We'll be back!“

“Service was great, cashier was super friendly, coffee was flavorful, croissants were nice and flakey. Chocolate in the sweet croissant was kind of jelly-like which I didn't love, but I'd just do only the butter one next time. Great stop in the morning for coffee and a snack!“

“Although advertised on their website to be dog friendly, they are not. Saying there was an incident that caused them to no longer allow dogs on their outside patio. So we ordered to go and sat out in their picnic tables with a view of the lake. The server even brought the to go bags out to us“

“What a fabulous wine bar! This was our first time coming by and enjoying a glass of wine. We had passed this place many times and decided to venture in. We felt like we were sitting enjoying a glass of wine in a cozy kitchen island bar with other local wine enthusiasts. An added treat, we mingled with the lovely owners. “A bike event on Sunday turned into a cold, rainy, windy, miserable day. We went to The Dam Cafe for hot chocolate and got so much love! The owner not only welcomed the wet, muddy riders in, she put out space heaters and wrapped us in blankets! Amazing! I was so cold and was warmed both physically and emotionally by the kindness. The food and drink where delicious. Can’t say enough good things. A little cottage of heaven in Tahoe City!“

Local little restaurant - food portions are great ( too big for a European) - waitress was so kind and helpful - service could be a bit faster but we ordered 9 mains so needed time to prepare. The house special ? was great, pizza is not Italian style dough but was good enough to eat. Beer is average nothing special.. The salad was good and the small version is more than enough.“

“Absolutely amazing breakfast!!! CHILAQUILES ROJOS was fantastic - do yourself the biggest favor and order it! French toast was the best! Breakfast potatoes included purple potatoes and were amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful with the open kitchen. Can you give 10 stars?“

“Enjoyed a delicious dinner here with my boyfriend! The service was fantastic, the wine and food were delicious and we hope to return! I had tomato soup and grilled cheese, we both enjoyed wine tasting flights and my bf had a wagyu burger! All very delicious! Many vegetarian options as well :)

“Great place rode the gondola up from North Star village. Our server Max was amazing! Food was great, atmosphere amazing. Definitely good place after a long day of skiing kids loved it too. Drinks were amazing too. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off. Definitely come here and enjoy good food, drinks and atmosphere. It’s pricy but it’s the Ritz sooooooo.

Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it. They also know how to behave in a nice restaurant.“

“You are paying for the outside scenery. It is truly beautiful. The service was attentive and met the owner who was very polite.

However, the food I had was very usual bar food. Wings tasted like cysco frozen wings. However, EVERYWHERE in incline seems to have same run of the mill food. Enjoyed their fries alot.

I would come here for a beer and the outside anytime.“

“We were in Truckee for the day and wanted something different. This was the perfect place! Outdoor dining was amazing balls! Comfy setting, like your own outside patio. The food was exactly what we wanted! A watermelon non alcoholic spritz was so refreshing. Not sweet but more blended fruity mix. A hot tasty sandwich, perfectly crispy sweet potato fries and that day.. a velvety French onion soup. It was a different type of bread, bunch of spices and big slice of the cheese! So much cooked onions and a broth that tasted like it was cooked for hours, to get a deep rich beef taste. Staff was so friendly and nice. Will be going back to try their pizzas and salads!“

“Delicious food with a great atmosphere“

“Enjoyed a leisurely lunch here during the recent snowstorm - we'd had plans to hit the mountains but with everything closed due to the high winds and absolutely dumping snow we opted for a day in town.
Ended up here for a nice lunch with tasty food and some good cocktails.

The special was a pastrami chili that my partner enjoyed but said the cotija cheese was a bit salty for their taste- but it didn't stop them from devouring the whole bowl!
The Naan flying bird was fantastic - very flavorful with juicy chicken, bright tang of the pickled red onions and the salty flavor of the feta - i opted for no aioli on mine and it was still delectable.
The service was a bit slow so if you're in a hurry I wouldn't recommend but if you're alright with Tahoe Time you should be just fine enjoying a meal and drink here.

They also have some board games to play - a couple nearby had a spirited game of battleship going and it seems they encourage a good hang here.“
