“The best cappuccino in Marin hands down! Been going there for years -- the service has been consistently excellent and the pastries and cakes are quintessential Italian delicacies! Gary and Jeannie Rulli are the dedicated hands-on proprietors -- wonderful people and a blessing to our Larkspur community🥰!“
“Between my wife and me we ate four of the turkey baguettes and a mocha. The sandwiches were tasty and a cut above deli fare but certainly didn't justify a $10 price for each sandwich. A quaint place but don't bring your appetite.“

“I cannot tell you how much I love this new French restaurant! It is like having a bit of Paris in Marin. The food is amazing - the best croissants outside France. The salads and crepes are divine. The service is excellent, especially Stella!! I am so happy we have this new restaurant!!“

“First time here. Ordered the pizza focaccia and the rosemary garlic focaccia. You can taste the aroma of the tomato sauce and the light texture of the bread. The sauce didn't make the bread soggy as I was thinking it would. The garlic/rosemary was my favorite of the two. For you garlic and rosemary lover, this is the one you must try. Fresh garlic taste with the awesome smell of the rosemary. This would go great with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. You need to go early before they get sold-out. I will be back for other selections.“

“Had a great experience at Maison Nico today! I ordered a Pain au Chocolat and matcha, and both exceeded my expectations. The Pain au Chocolat was beautifully made - so light and delicate with those perfect flaky, crispy layers on top that you expect from a well-crafted pastry.
What really stood out was their matcha. Finally found a place that serves it the proper way - no added sugar at all! It's refreshing to taste the pure, earthy flavor of quality matcha instead of the overly sweet versions you get at most cafes.
I was fortunate to walk in without a line, but within several minutes there was a steady stream of customers forming a queue. That's always a good sign that locals know this place is worth the wait. The quality of their pastries and attention to authentic preparation definitely shows. Will be back to try more items!“

“BEST pineapple bun hands down in the universe! And I'm Asian! Served warm and fresh from their oven, this bun is out of this world. Go pass the friendly old guys who are there all day, and a super nice lady behind the counter will give you the best .. did I mention BEST...pineapple bun!!
Also tried the other hot buns which were REALLY good, but the Pineapple bun is king!“

“Holy Nata - 8 Trinity Place, San Francisco, CA
Let me be clear. These pastries? They're amazing. The taste? All I can say is this: walk over, order one, walk out, take a bite, and tell me if you didn't immediately turn around and go back for six more. It's that good. Holy Nata is not just a bakery, it's a walk-back-in kind of place. Don't say I didn't warn you!“

“Nothing better than a fresh warm fortune cookie. Even the packaged ones are great. Just come by to watch the cookie maker machine and operator a bit and grab a bag of cookies.
Still great, but long lines at Saturday dinnertime.“

“Just a little pricey but it’s worth the money. The cashier was nice and welcoming.. the pastries and coffee were fresh and delicious. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant with an espresso latte and I finished every sip and not a crumb was left behind. The early morning traffic is better than the afternoon traffic.“

“Amazing gluten free bakery (with vegan options) in the Ferry Building. The line was long (Sunday around noon), but it moved fairly quickly and it was definitely worth the wait. Things we got: cinnamon roll, croissant, empanada, bear claw. All were delicious. Would return and recommend to others, especially those with dietary restrictions.“

“After nearly 3 years of telling myself, “One day I’ll finally try a donut from Bob’s Donuts,” that day finally came—and it was worth the wait!
I’ve always been a loyal customer to my local donut shop in San Rafael, but today I had the chance to stop by Bob’s Donuts in Mill Valley, and I’m so glad I did. As I met Ryan Murphy, a young high school student who works there and truly represents the shop with excitement and positivity. His energy was refreshing, and he took the time to ask what kind of donuts I usually go for. After I told him that chocolate is my go-to, he highly recommended I try theirs—and I’m glad I listened.
The chocolate donut was impressive—great texture, rich flavor, and clearly made with care. Bob’s Donuts has a delicious recipe that sets them apart. They’re definitely more than just another donut shop—they’re a local gem at 252 Almonte Blvd, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
Big thanks to Ryan and the Bob’s Donuts team for a truly tasty treat. I’ll definitely be back!“

“The lines are long but the food is worth it. The people around us got very mad in the line though the bread was so good. The service was fast and had good staff. The bread was good. Italian long bread was very good including the twinkies and the baguette. The bread was good by itself and was good.“

“What a great stop for a sweet treat. Tourist here, we were looking for a small bite before walking through Chinatown. I was blown away by the quality of the pastries, their coffee was good too. They have a cute storefront right off Washington Square Park with seating outside. It was delicious!“
“You can feel the love and care the team puts into everything they make, and they’re so welcoming every time. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the almond croissant is perfectly flaky, and the donuts are a delight. Honestly, everything we tried was just perfect“

“These cupcakes were just as delicious as they were beautiful! I’ll admit, I was a little worried they might be too sweet with all that frosting, but I was completely blown away. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and the cake was incredibly fluffy and moist. I served them at a broker’s tour and received so many compliments from the agents. They were a total hit! I’ll definitely be ordering from Baked Blooms again, highly recommend if you want a true showstopper!“

“This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“

“Not really a sit-down spot, but walked over and got some mini cheesecakes to go. Was impressed at the price and variety of flavors; only $2.50 per individual cheesecake and flavors ranging from caramel apple to s'mores to pumpkin. Excited at the potential of getting like eight different cheesecakes all in different flavors for less than $20. I plan on returning again. Cash only, for those who want to plan ahead.“

“Stopped here over ten years ago and got the cocktail buns (coconut filling) and have wanted to go back ever since. This time we tried lotus cakes, pork buns (steamed and baked) and more cocktail buns. Everything is delicious. They do not take card, so make sure to bring cash!“

“I walked past this store often, but haven’t tried it until recently, since their prices are sightly higher than other Chinatown bakeries. Now I’ve tried their bread and coffee and they’re really good - I look forward to go back every morning!! Takes credit card for purchase over $6. Staff are quite polite.“

“Wow, wow, wow.... hands down and by far the best cookie I've eaten. We were staying just down the street and could smell the deliciousness as we walked down the street, we had to go in and find out what smelled so amazing. Best decision of our entire trip. The fresh made cookies were phenomenal. I have told everyone about them. I'll definitely be going back today before heading to the airport. I only wish we could get it in TN. So yummy!!“

“For years I've been coming here for the old fashion chicken pot pies, made fresh daily. I buy a bunch & freeze them - so delish! I also love the cupcakes that are like the ones I grew up eating back east. No fancy sugary stuff inside, just cake + frosting. Excellent prices here as well...unlike the rest of Marin.“

“Ordered half a dozen and couple of chocolate donuts from them. I wish they would have been less sugary and slightly bit healthier but I don't think there is a lot of offers available.
Other than that,
Reasonably priced and quite tasty“

“Excellent choice for local, cheap dim sum in the Chinatown area of SF. You will see people ordering in bulk from here as they are also providers for other restaurants in the area.
There is seating outside with the shed they built. Pieces of dimsum or buns are cheap and ten dollars will get you full for a few hours of walking and exploring the city! Enjoy this hidden gem!“

“Reasonably priced bakery located in Chinatown. They accept credit cards including Amex. Clean bakery with tables and seating inside. “Χριστός Ανέστη! I couldn't be with my family for Easter this year so they sent me a care package from Glyka Sweets. I am so grateful for this feeling of home that your sweets gave me. “Convenient location if you work in FiDi, fresh baked goods everyday! I love the Lavender Sea Salt mini shortbread cookies!!!! Their bakery is in Russian Hill (Polk St), but I work right across the street from their kiosk.Tip: take a look at the chalk A-board outside for special items they have that day! I almost walked by the other day till I stopped after seeing the Banana Nutella muffin! The girl said they don't have it available everyday :D I also get the mint chocolate cookie when they have it too.“

“Probably the largest boudin I’ve seen as there’s a factory beside the dining area making fresh bread. There’s cafe and restaurant here and we went for the cafe where we got a cheese toast and the clam chowder soup. Also gotten a mac and cheese.
We enjoyed the clam chowder soup and the cheese toast as well and the price was decent. The Mac and cheese can get a little too overwhelmed unless you share it with someone.“

“Place was great for the touristy Sausalito scene. Wondered in after lunch at Poggio (which was great) and had a couple scones and a brownie. The charred classic Blodgett oven on the way to the restroom says it all. These guys are legit.
We love Sausalito, didn’t mean to be negative but the bike across the bridge crowd can soil the vibe.“
