“The best cappuccino in Marin hands down! Been going there for years -- the service has been consistently excellent and the pastries and cakes are quintessential Italian delicacies! Gary and Jeannie Rulli are the dedicated hands-on proprietors -- wonderful people and a blessing to our Larkspur community🥰!“

“Rustic Bakery gets pretty busy during farmer's market days. Luckily we found seats outside by the bike rack. It is the type of restaurant where you order at the counter and they give you a number to put on your table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches, a Caesar salad and some pastries. Everything tasted OK. Nothing stood out as extraordinary.“

“I come here sometimes it’s very good histories and overrated for because it’s very good but also located and a very good place and mostly I will give it a fly but today I’ll give it a floor because the varieties of pastries you could choose from there are not a lot“

“Dining at buvette was a truly delightful experience from the moment we walked in. Nestled on a quiet side of the mart, this charming eatery offers a much-needed escape from the city hustle with its farm-to-table approach and incredibly welcoming atmosphere Delicious food and crepes. The presentation of each dish was beautiful and showed great attention to detail. Service was impeccable , our service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu ingredients. Merci“

“The lady that owns the shop is so sweet and her service was amazing! The pineapple buns were still warm and very fresh. There’s also a huge variety of moon cakes to choose from! You can tell she takes pride in her business and everything is made with love.“

“I am Italian. We passed by here by chance in 2017 and apparently 8 years later we are still talking about it. A dive into the past and a focaccia to remember; a bit on the soft side compared to the way we have them where I am from. Packed with care.“

“The pasteis de nata are very good in the morning. Later in the day they are less fresh. The pastry is very, very small though, smaller than at other local bakeries and smaller than they are in Portugal. For me, it doesn’t feel like good value for the price.“

“Pain au chocolat was phenomenal. Canele was mediocre. I had high expectations for a French bakery. Seasonal croissant seemed to be a berry crumble type double baked croissant. Tasty and fresh! Went on a weekday morning with no plans so the casual atmosphere and no line was nice and relaxing.
Their pate en croute assortment looked like art. Would’ve loved to try but hopefully another time.“

“Lovely team that I cannot thank enough for their kindness and professional service. I ordered a pistachio tart for a birthday and it was absolutely divine. The right amount of sweetness and richness while being light. Only the highest of quality ingredients used. I will only be ordering birthday cakes from them from now on. Special thanks to Estelle.“

“I came in expecting something good, but everything I purchased was simply phenomenal.
The main event was the Black and White Cake, and let me tell you, it was an immediate highlight. The cake was incredibly moist, and the balance of dark and light frosting was spot-on, rich without being overly heavy or sweet.
If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. The staff were also super friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Five stars, hands down!“

“I came by this bakery yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I got the pineapple bun (no filling) and the paper wrapped sponge cake and both were exceptional...might be the best I've had in SF Chinatown. The pineapple bun and a thick outer layer which made for a nice crunch. It was sweet and buttery, which was the perfect topping to the fluffy warm bun. The sponge cake was very airy and melts in your mouth. It had a warm vanilla and eggy flavor, which I appreciated as other bakeries usually make them more plain.
The shop itself is nothing fancy and looks like your run of the mill Chinese bakery. The lady who helped me felt like she was rushing me and had a bit of an attitude, but that's a given coming to these kinda places. But, don't be discouraged, the food is worth it though!“

“Such a great experience and a must do when in Chinatown & San Fran! You write your own fortune and they put it in a fortune cookie and pack it in a small box. The cook itself is not wrapped or sealed so you need to gift it out or eat it yourself fast but amazing experience. I think this went viral on TikTok and everyone started going here. Slight wait to get inside and get through the process“

“Great place for people wanting gluten free food. Everything was delicious! Best gluten free sandwich I have had ever I think! Really fresh and tasty. The cinnamon scroll was also super good! So soft, you would question it being gluten free if you didn’t know it was!“

“A piece of old San Francisco on one of the busiest blocks in North Beach. Charming decor right out of the 50’s. Excellent bread with the perfect crunch and the mortadellla sandwich is huge and delicious, as well as their homemade biscotti - great with a single espresso! Of course I had to try the bagels (says the NJ in me). OMG good and perfectly priced. Enjoying a little picnic of everything I bought - so good!“

“My daughter had to pee. lol We were on our way to Muir Woods when I saw this donut shop. I ordered some donuts as we waited for the fam to go to the restroom. The young man behind the counter was kind and helpful. The donuts were sooooo good. They were fresh. The quality was exceptional. They are a more artisan version of Lamar’s. They have more variety of donuts than many shops. They even had gluten free and vegan choices. We had regular cake and risen donuts. . I lament that Bob’s isn’t found in our state. We will be returning to this area and we will be back to Bob’s. So happy that my daughter had to pee. 😂“
“I visited MV Baking Company after seeing great reviews and being in the area. The display featured a variety of tempting baked goods. I particularly enjoyed the lemon kouign amann, beignets filled with raspberry jam, cinnamon roll, pear croissant, and spinach and cheese croissant. I plan to try more items on my next visit. Although it's a small place, the quality of the baked goods reflects the baker's passion. If you intend to visit, it's best to go early; I arrived at 10 am on a Saturday and found many items are almost sold out.“

“The maple blueberry muffin was the best muffin I’ve ever had and I am not generally overly effusive in my reviews. The London Fog was also perfectly balanced, not too sweet with the earl grey coming through nicely. Also kudos to the baker for the perfect rings on the croissant! It was pretty crowded so I might aim for a weekday next time.“

“Not really a sit-down spot, but walked over and got some mini cheesecakes to go. Was impressed at the price and variety of flavors; only $2.50 per individual cheesecake and flavors ranging from caramel apple to s'mores to pumpkin. Excited at the potential of getting like eight different cheesecakes all in different flavors for less than $20. I plan on returning again. Cash only, for those who want to plan ahead.“

“Hey mom and pop ran bakery in the middle of Chinatown. A little hole in the wall. Walk through take out style. Very authentic food and snacks. The mom and pop were very nice. They didn’t really speak much English. We were still able to find vegetarian and vegan options. We tried the vegetarian moon cake. 🥮 mmmm it was served hot. It’s very dense. 1 is more than enough for 2-4 people to share. They take cash and zelle.“

“What a cute little bakery! I came here by chance after an event at the bookstore on the corner, and I'm really glad I did. Other bakeries are pretty chaotic, loud, and intimidating. This one is very chill and calm. The auntie at the counter patiently takes your order, I can't say that for all Chinatown bakeries! I got a green onion bun, a bo-lo bao (called a pineapple bun, because it looks like a pineapple), a cha siu bolo bao, a ham and cheese bao. All were really light and fluffy. My favorite was the cha siu bolo bao! But, also the mango mochi, that were on the counter, those were really really good and my family finished those in minutes. Highly recommend making the trip down Wavery to find i-Cafe!“

“Wow, wow, wow.... hands down and by far the best cookie I've eaten. We were staying just down the street and could smell the deliciousness as we walked down the street, we had to go in and find out what smelled so amazing. Best decision of our entire trip. The fresh made cookies were phenomenal. I have told everyone about them. I'll definitely be going back today before heading to the airport. I only wish we could get it in TN. So yummy!!“

“Excellent choice for local, cheap dim sum in the Chinatown area of SF. You will see people ordering in bulk from here as they are also providers for other restaurants in the area.
There is seating outside with the shed they built. Pieces of dimsum or buns are cheap and ten dollars will get you full for a few hours of walking and exploring the city! Enjoy this hidden gem!“

“These cupcakes were just as delicious as they were beautiful! I’ll admit, I was a little worried they might be too sweet with all that frosting, but I was completely blown away. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and the cake was incredibly fluffy and moist. I served them at a broker’s tour and received so many compliments from the agents. They were a total hit! I’ll definitely be ordering from Baked Blooms again, highly recommend if you want a true showstopper!“

“We had the pan au chocolate, lemon Madelines, and the darn cookies and it was pure bliss, they had also had nearly one of every kind of bread on display so you could see and even feel what you were about to get. The woman at the counter didn't need to hype anything up, just gave us a soft smile because she knew we were about the eat the best bread of our lives.“

“This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“
“Amazing bread and croissants! Also love the brown butter chocolate chip cookies. A must have stop at the Farmer's market Thurs in San Rafael. Cannot wait until he has his own brick and mortar store. xo“

“Good Asian fusion bakery in the “heart” of Chinatown San Francisco. We were able to get some nice matcha flavored baked goods at a very good price. The baked goods were delicious. Service was great from the clerks and efficient. They answered all of our questions with a smile. I did notice that the clerks spoke a Mandarine, unlike the olden days when Cantonese was the main dialect in Chinatown San Francisco.“
“For years I've been coming here for the old fashion chicken pot pies, made fresh daily. I buy a bunch & freeze them - so delish! I also love the cupcakes that are like the ones I grew up eating back east. No fancy sugary stuff inside, just cake + frosting. Excellent prices here as well...unlike the rest of Marin.“

“Cash only spot local Chinatown gem. Loved the almond cookies. Walked by on a Sunday around 1 pm no line yet. Quick efficient and tasty like something out of Chinese grandmas kitchen in ziplock bags (the cookies). Chewy and not overly sweet just the perfect almond cookie.“

“Place was great for the touristy Sausalito scene. Wondered in after lunch at Poggio (which was great) and had a couple scones and a brownie. The charred classic Blodgett oven on the way to the restroom says it all. These guys are legit.
We love Sausalito, didn’t mean to be negative but the bike across the bridge crowd can soil the vibe.“
