“So happy to find my favorite K-town chicken spot right here in Lomita 😋
I used to crave Thank You Chicken in K-town all the time, but since moving far away, I hadn't been able to have it. Luckily, I randomly discovered on Google Maps that there is a location in Lomita, and I immediately drove over!
My baby fell asleep in the car, so I originally placed a to-go order. However, while the owner was packing up the food, my baby woke up. I asked if we could switch to dine-in instead, and the owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming about it, saying it was absolutely no problem.
The chicken tasted just as amazing as I remembered, and the service was top-notch. I’m so glad I don’t have to drive all the way to K-town anymore. I will definitely be a regular here ☺“

“It just has that KBBQ vibe. The servers are so friendly and super accommodating. They suggest, recommend, and chat you up. Super cozy.
As for the food, get the signature dish: gobchang (intestines). For a medium, you get to choose three of the four choices: abomasum (stomach), tripe, large intestines, and small intestines. Additionally, you get side dishes, a choice of a stew (kimchi or fermented soybean), corn cheese, steamed egg, and salad. They cook the intestines for you before bringing it out to your table, so that it says warm as you eat. They stir fry the intestines with potato slices, onions, garlic and mushrooms. They really do 곱창 right. We also ordered the beef tartare, since they had posters of it around the restaurant. The beef tartare is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've tried around OC, NY, and SD. The cuts are thicker than normal and the seasoning is perfect. They don't include a lot of ingredients like other places do, but it just hits better.
It's within a plaza, so there is plenty of parking around the restaurant. This place has become one of my go-tos for gopchang. A++!“

“A clearly family run delicious soup restaurant that have been several times. The seollungtang rivals that of hanbat without having to go all the way to korea town and they serve other things which i always wanted from hanbat. Their bossam is great with raw nappa which i love and the haegaengguk which also has saved me post a hard night. Highly underrated korea restaurant“

“I had dwaeji-gukbap, and I highly recommend it.
There was no unpleasant pork smell, and the thickly sliced meat was very tender.
The pickled perilla leaves served as a side dish were especially delicious—I recommend placing them on the meat and eating them together.“

“The food here was absolutely amazing! If you are planning a visit, the blood sausage and the fish pancake were the absolute highlights of the meal—both were packed with incredible flavor and cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend checking this place out. I will absolutely be coming back for more!“

“So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“Food: Ordered Malatang and Street Squid to share, and both were great. The Malatang, which feeds two people, had a nice heat to it (take caution, those who are heat intolerant) and a nice assortment of ingredients. The Street Squid was addictive and tender. Overall, great first impression. Who knew this little gem was sitting in our backyard!
Service: No complaints! We were waited on by two guys, who checked in on us a few times.
Ambiance: Casual, modern, retro.
Parking: Limited parking. Street parking available.“

“Everything was excellent from start to finish. The soup is very tasty, and the broth tastes pure, clean, and comforting—you can really tell it’s well-made and not overpowering.
The price is reasonable, and the serving size is just right. Overall, everything is good: great flavor, good portions, and fair pricing.
If you’re looking for a simple but delicious soup with a clean, rich broth, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I would happily come back again.“

“We got the duck combo plus the table-side fried rice and it was quite hefty. Can probably feed a good 4-5 people. The duck is grilled with potatoes, rice cakes, mushrooms, garlic & chives and the combo of everything works well and takes away from the usually gamieness associated with duck. The bean paste dipping sauce was probably my fave. The kimchi fried rice was pretty serious as it even had japchae in it. Combo also includes kimchi pancake, steam egg, corn cheese, bean paste soup. Definitely not your typical Kbbq spot, in a good way, and I dig that they specialize in things like duck and intestines, which I'll be trying on my next visit. Bonus points too for being close by in the South Bay where I live.“

“The food is delicious. Once I received my bowl, I was blown away by the portions. My bowl fed two large individuals lol. The kimbap was also delicious. The musubi was fire. The price was right. Overall, I will be coming back when I’m working out here, once a week lol.“
“My hand was for a size reference. This place is so good! I've been going often for lunch and the quality is consistent! I ordered the spicy bulgogi bento. It comes with a side salad, kimchi, pickled radish, cucumber, noodles, gyoza(1), rice and miso soup for $20. Can't beat a fresh meal (-:<“

“Late night Korean vibes. This place is legit!
Open room with ambiance lights but not dark with awesome authentic Korean vibes and plenty of space for large group to sit together.
The service is super friendly and inviting, we ordered so much food it barely fit in our table and when we ordered soju, they gave us the soju for free to enjoy it with our meal.
Shout out to our server for making our meal experience a great one, we’re absolutely coming again soon!
Each dish was delicious and their prices are very fair, I dare to say not expensive at all!
If your near Gardena and it’s late your options for good food are limited, this place is your salvation from boring food late at night.
Definitely a must try with your family and friends!“

“It was seriously so good. My friends and I were looking for a place that was open late after playing cards, and this place hit the spot! It was 116 for five of us, and they kept refilling our sides whenever we ran out. Honestly, we've decided this might be our weekly spot to go to! A real gem“

“Having grown up in Korea and Koreatown, I miss that authentic Korean flavor. This place comes the closest in the South Bay area, and the service is really good, surprisingly good. The side dishes that come out before your food is a good indicator of how the main dishes will be and everything is good. Highly recommend.“

“Made to order meat. Flavorful and not dry. Meat was a bit more fatty than expected. Macaroni salad wasn’t my favorite heavier mayo taste, but know a lot of people may like it. Kimchi & spicy cucumber was average. Spicy cucumber does have a nice crunch.
Favorite aspect of fresh cooked meat vs meat that has been laying out.
Staff were kind and helpful as well.“

“Cherrystones catered my brother's celebration of life memorial last Sunday at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. We were about 120 people. The food and presentation was excellent. We opted for the Kalua Pork and the Teriyaki chicken, both delicious. Loved the broccoli salad and Mac salad. Our guests raved about the food. Cherrystones catered my dad's memorial in 2016 and the food was excellent then. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed a catering service. Thank you Cherrystones for doing my brother proud.“

“Lately, I’ve been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what’s inside. There’s sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I’m really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion.
The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It’s in a busy shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It’s usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there’s lost of seating inside to do so. If you’re not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from.“

“Food is very delicious. Very good portions as well. I would say it tastes better and more portions than waba grill. I ordered extra rice instead of salad and fruit. you can turn a plate into two meals for the same price of a plate at waba grill. I'll be back again for sure.“

“A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“
“(Translated by Google) The catering overall was delicious and neat. Especially kimchi and fruit salad. Japchae. Tricolor is the best!!?(Original)캐더링 전체적으로 맛있고 정갈했습니다. 특히 겉절이 김치와 과일 사라다. 잡채. 삼색전 최고에요!!?“
“This was actually a Brazilian Steak house prior to this restaurant taking over and was really run down. I have never seen so many customer before until they opened up. Now the place is renovated and has the most awesome mural inside. The staff is so kind and the portions are so large. I love coming across authentic food places that stay true to their passed down recipes. They are incorporating new Togo lunch boxes and they are absolutely perfect to take on the go. Yes the place is hard to find, not their fault, the parking does get packed, and that is because they are so good and authentic. The manager is absolutely such a sweetheart and the owner honestly cooks the food himself with his staff and always has a huge beautiful smile on his face. Do not skip out on getting a cafe to top off your meal. Of course prices are high, you can thank our government for that, quality products are not cheap.“

“I picked here because it was open late and glad I made that decision. I like the menu because it split into prices. Super affordable because the portion is sooo huge. On top, full of flavor and delicious.
I got the combo B with chicken and pitcher of beer. Chicken was crunchy and tasty.
The Sausage platter was sooo huge has a hint of kick but for people who can't eat spicy can still enjoy.
Service was awesome and I think the owner was there and he made sure everybody was happy, felt welcome and enjoyed it here.“

(Cozy place)
(Friendly staff)
Last weekend, I was looking for a quick bite in Redondo Beach and came across this place right on my way to the beach. Decided to grab some take-out, and it was absolutely amazing!
The chicken was perfectly cooked all the way through(which is rare these days since a lot of places leave it undercooked inside) but here, the meat was still incredibly juicy and tender, not dry at all.
I ordered the regular wings, and they had a nice little kick to them, but definitely not too spicy. Honestly, this is hands down the best take-out food to grab before heading down to the beach
+ Plenty of parking spaces!“

“We ordered 2 jalapeno kimbap and 2 beef bulgogi kimbap and they gave us 4 little spicy soups that I thought was miso at first but it's not it's a delicious bean sprout jalapeno soup. So good and spicy 😍 The owners were so nice and asked our daughter if she wanted to take a book home 💚 definitely have to go back for a date night with hubby and try their other items“

“I love how ethnic markets: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican supermarkets in So. Cal included a food court where everyone can sample ethnic dishes. At this H Mart, I ordered Hot Stone Bibimbap. It arrived with three sides, and two sauces. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe this dish. All the raw vegetables were freshly sliced, warmed by the heat of the stone and rice. The cooked vegetables were perfectly cooked-maintaining their bright green color. I prefer low salt, so I just poured in a little bit of the sauce. While sitting down to eat my lunch, I thought about groceries to pick up from H-Mart. I’m a little surprised that this food court with 4 eateries wasn’t busier during the week. Bring your appetite.“

“I'd like to announce you all are sleeping on Old Time. Your Korean noodle based dreams will come true here. Special note on availability of cold noodles, hard to find. “BCD Tofu was closing and i was craving for Korean Tofu and ribs. Tofu Village was open until 1am. I did not expect Tofu Village to beat BCD by a mile. The banchan tastes so good and so much variety. Tofu soup came out sizzling hot together with kalbi beef. What i did not expect was the Purple stone rice. Best rice i have tasted --and i eat rice everyday! The food is so good! I didnt expect a place in Gardena to serve superb Korean Tofu! we usually find these great restos in Koreatown. Service was excellent-- only 1 lady managed the orders. She moves fast and have great customer service. You need to try this place- you will not be dissapointed.“

“Food is not bad. Grill is very small - good for 2 people but not for 3 or more.
Ventilation is pretty bad, your hair and clothes won’t survive the bbq odor with smoke directly hovering into your face most of the time. Some people might actually enjoy this dinning experience, but definitely not for all.
Price is on the higher side, quality is fine, overall value is average.“

“Nahhh… this place actually lived up to the hype. 😭🔥 The chicken was CRAZY crispy without being dry, and every bite was juicy. Soy Garlic is hands down my favorite flavor. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the sauce is so good I could eat it every day.
The sides were solid too, everything came out fresh and hot, and the staff was super chill. The place was clean and the whole vibe was a W.
Definitely one of the best Korean fried chicken spots I’ve had. If you’re debating whether to try bb.q Chicken, just go. The Soy Garlic is a must. 10/10, I’m already thinking about my next order.“
