“Delicious home made pasta ! Friendly staff !“

“Not the biggest fan of how they charge for all the extra sides you’d typically get for free when ordering pho at any other restaurant, but still enjoyed my meal. They serve large bowls, although it’s a bit extra broth for its contents. The beef rolls are a yummy appetizer and the brisket is tasty. Service is fine, they do automatically add 18% minimum service charge to small parties and more for larger parties.“

“We loved the authentic noodles and warm hospitality. Our lovely server also recommended me to drink the Tenth degree ginjo instead of regular sake, which I liked a lot.“

“Fantastic food at an extremely reasonable price. You can easily get full for 20$. We had a huge spread of dumplings, our favorite was the spicy pork dunpling and the pork and leek pancakes. Everything was delicious and seemed hand made. Service is very casual. This is a great spot to share food with people you care about you will get great shareable food and service that is attentive without being interrupting.“

“So fresh, clean, and fulfilling! The food here is great, you can really taste the quality... but it’s definitely on the overpriced side.

The space is a bit small, but the wait times were short (10 minutes), so it wasn’t an issue.

The staff were super lovely, with such happy, welcoming energy that made the whole atmosphere feel really good.“

“The service was very friendly and accommodating, happy to adjust the order to my specifications which I always love. I was the only one at the restaurant and The order came very quickly. I ordered the vegetable pad Thai with no traditional broccoli, only Chinese broccoli and the order was correct and hot. I

am usually a 7 out of 10 on the American spicy scale so I ordered “medium spicy” and asked for extra but I didn’t need it, it was the perfect amount of spice for me so know it runs a bit higher on the scale.

The vegetables were clearly fresh and cooked to a light crunch. The flavor was there but I’m a bit of a tough crowd as I’ve been to Thailand and it’s difficult to find it’s equal. One thing, I’ve never seen the noodles orange like that, curious what made them that color.“

“I recently tried Kyoto Paitan Ramen last week and Curry Ramen this week at this spot. The Kyoto Paitan Ramen was good, but I was really impressed by the Curry Ramen. It wasn’t very spicy, but it was packed with flavor. I prefer thicker noodles, so I’d love to see that option next time. Overall, a great experience!“

“The thick pork bone and fish soup has a deep umami flavor and a slightly smoky taste which is unique. A very good experience.“

“I came here for dinner and ordered the Tonkatsu set.
The pork cutlet was thick, crispy, and the meat quality was really good. Everything tasted solid overall.
The only minor downside is that parking in this area can be a bit tough.“

“Tucked away behind LAX, this is a great Thai restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was great, even the decor was fun and festive. I prefer my Thai food of the sweeter side and so I really enjoyed the flavors here. The lunch menu is a good deal in today's economy. Very popular with the work lunch crowd.“

“One of the best ramens in LA! I love their shoyu and jyosui ramen. It’s light and refreshing, yet full of depth, and I just can’t stop eating. The noodles are medium-thick, pleasantly chewy, and absolutely delicious. Karaage and gyoza are also really good. The price is also really affordable! I highly recommend this place!“

“Wow! Finally a super authentic and friendly Italian place! Super tasty and the outdoor Venice atmosphere is super fun! You can build your own pasta! I enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo and added truffle sauce and sausage! Customer service is high quality also!“

Only gripe... Not nearly as many of the tempura options or musibis like Sawtelle. But they do have the main dishes here and it was fast on a Friday night to order.

Each dish was a taste experience, from the delicious dumplings in broth to the perfectly seasoned fried rice. The service is great and the atmosphere is inviting. “Came for lunch alone, it was fairly busy around 12:00 to 1:00 pm and got a table. Order the combo dumplings along with fried pork cutlets. The Dumplings were ok, nothing to specials, Loved the pork cutlet comes with barbeque sauce, small salad, and dark rice. The server was nice and polite even though there was a language barrier we managed to easily commuincate. I'll order from here again, but take out only.“

“I have driven by this place several times and it doesn’t look like much on the outside but I had a good feeling about it.
As soon as, we walked in the Aroma of the kitchen was Amazing!! Plenty of “pick up orders” on the countertop! Menu had lots of options. Pho and spring rolls +peanut sauce and flavors did not fail super yummy!

“Incredible experience - The staff were so accommodating and the food was genuinely the best Chinese I've ever had.

“Delicious Chinese food with unique menu items all delivered in a fantastic old school Hollywood atmosphere. From the pictures on the wall of the great stars of the past and the booths where Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Burt Reynolds hung out, you can feel the history and reminisce about the past. The boa, lettuce wraps, scallion pancakes, fried tofu, and chicken salad all were excellent choices. They also had great drink choices. The only downside was that parking was in a paid parking lot and the restaurant prices were very high.“

“Tina, the owner, is an amazing person and great Thai chef. I dined in her cozy restaurant and we had a great conversation. I absolutely loved my Penang chicken curry over rice! It’s next to a famous boxing gym - all her favorite champions come by to eat after their workout. BYOB from the market next door“

“i only come here for their chicken noodle soup (dak kalguksu). it comes with a few banchan, of course. it’s perfect especially when you’re feeling wilted, sick, sad and/or cold. so comforting and hot!! the auntie at the register is super sweet and organized. their parking attendant is pretty nice too. there is a designated parking spot for to-go orders. i always do to-go.“

“What a treasure! Randomly came across this fantastic restaurant while staying in Koreatown. Great view of the Hollywood sign from the terrace, incredible atmosphere, tasty and cheap HH. I ordered a Tom Yum soup that just about blew my hair back and my date ordered a Tom Kha that was even better! We got the Pad Sew Ew to go for later, which was also decent as a late night snack. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent, interesting, delicious, relaxed but intimate date night restaurant.“

“Phorage on Overland in Los Angeles is a great spot for a relaxed meal with a fresh take on Vietnamese cuisine. The menu has a cool mix of traditional and modern dishes that are both tasty and unique. The Pho Birria is absolutely incredible. 10/10“

“This was one of my childhood go to spots from when I used to live in L.A. It has been about eight years since I last came, and even though I do not fully remember the exact taste, I just remember really liking the food. Coming back while visiting did not disappoint at all.
Thank you to the lady who works here for taking our photo. She even told me to post it, which made me laugh.
I ate two pans, and yes, the servers can seem a little curt at times, but if you are a local or someone who has been coming for years, you understand that it is just part of the place. The food may not be super extravagant, but you can feel the sincerity in it.“

“This restaurant is incredible. The vibes are so authentic and I love that the name is based off of the restaurant’s Thai village origins. Lili who served us was so welcoming and gracious. The food was just an absolute 10/10. We ordered Thai tea and Thai coffee- wow. Then we got Chinese broccoli with beef and tofu over rice- so fresh and flavorful. Finally we ordered Khao Soi with chicken drumsticks- the curry-like, nutty, creamy broth was divine with the soft rice noodles and the crunchy noodles with the cabbage and onion mixed in- COME ON!! It was a fantastic well-rounded experience and I highly suggest anyone try.“

“Mountain Noodles offers an extensive variety of Korean dishes, which initially made me skeptical about their focus on noodles. However, I was surprised to find that their menu cleverly builds on a foundation of decent meat broth with slight variations.

I tried their signature dish, the beef noodles, and opted for the mild spicy version, which unexpectedly came with kimchi in the soup. I would recommend going with the regular flavor to fully appreciate the rich flavor of the broth. Kimchi is also served as a standard side dish. The ribs in the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the noodles themselves were delightfully chewy and tasty.

While the service was not particularly friendly or proactive, it didn't significantly detract from the overall quality of the food. Mountain Noodles is a solid choice for anyone craving varolious and well-prepared Korean cuisine.“

“One of the best Jajangmyeon I've ever had!Jajangmyeon is a Korean-Chinese dish of thick noodles covered in a rich, fermented black bean sauce and served with vegetables and pork. The savory, salty, and slightly sweet dish is a cultural icon in Korea, often associated with childhood memories and special occasions. The noodles are made fresh which makes it extra special. The Chicken in Spicy Garlic sauce is a perfect accompaniment with it's tangy crunchy chewy spicy taste! This is the type of place that
will be your go to for Korean Chinese dishes! Nothing fancy on inside but super clean and super friendly staff!“

“Found this place on Google while spending a night in LA near the airport 🛫. The place looks rough as heck, but don't be fooled. The food is incredible. Close to, if not the best sushi I ever ate. I get sushi everytime I travel to different places, so I have tried a fair bit. The place is self serve you set the table yourself and everything else. The fish was extremely fresh and the chef is an expert. He prepares the sushi 🍣 right out in the open so no secrets. The rolls are big and filling. I would highly recommend this place if you are around LAX and want sushi. They also do take out and door dash services. Thanks to chef!“

“Dan modern Chinese was a pleasant surprise as the person who brought me told me it was better then din tai fung. It was not as good but the food was solid, the dumplings were great and so was the salt and pepper beef. Would come here with a date or a friend for a casual meal.“

“The Pho is enough for 2 people and it's delicious! We have had both the chicken and the Wagu beef. Also, the rice plates with fried rice and either Wagu beef or spicy pork is really good. We get one of each (Pho and rice plate) and share. We are quite full and satisfied when we finish! And the prices are very reasonable.“
