“Arrived near closing time but decided to try it. There was metered street parking a short distance from the place. Located in Santa Monica (Montana Ave.) it was small but cozy. The owner was welcoming as I entered. I ordered the shrimp & pork spring rolls and the Pho Ga (shredded chicken). Definitely a bit too much food but I was satisfied with everything. I would definitely stop by again to try their Banh Mi or Bowls.“

“The full size beef soup is very small.
The tables are sticky which is not nice.
We were party of 3 They brought the beef soup first and after 10 minutes the chicken noodle. They need to serve all together.

“I've been coming here for a long time, and they never disappoint. The chicken ramen is always delicious, and the fried chicken is crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. the food is super well portioned and lots and lots of veggies, which has been a pretty rare experience for me at most vegan Asian restaurants.

staff is friendly, even when swamped.

the customers are nice, which sounds weird to say but sometimes the crowd at restaurants (especially vegan) feels weird and pretentious or just icky.

their papaya salad is my favourite in LA. It's not too sweet and it's a really really good portion. super fresh. flavoured so good, and if you ask for it to be spicy they don't joke back :)

they sell little plant cuttings of bamboo and other cute home items for fair prices.

they have pickled jalapenos on tap!

they always give me extra citrus, which I appreciate!“

“We stopped by for a quick coffee and a banmi sandwich and were blown away by the quality and taste. The Vietnamese coffees are incredible and the sandwich was better than I remember on my visit to Hanoi. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere inside quite nice and now I know why this place is always packed! Want to come back for the noodle soup which look amazing.“

Everything was amazing including the decor ! Met the owner and he said Noone had ordered the green curry with salmon and he was impressed so much he gave us a free mango sticky rice !!! “First, I want to say that the restaurant is located in a beautiful area. Walking around the neighborhood was incredibly enjoyable and made the whole experience even better.

When it comes to the restaurant itself, I honestly don't have enough words to describe how amazing it was. I found out that the pasta is handmade rather than pre-made, and it's brought fresh from Italy every evening. That surprised me and made dining there even more special.

The pasta I ordered was prepared with white wine. The portion looked a bit small at first, but it was very filling and absolutely delicious.

I would also like to give special recognition to the manager. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, energetic, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. We were even treated to a delicious pasta that wasn't yet on the menu, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I will definitely come back just for that pasta!

Everything was excellent—the atmosphere, the people, the food, and the service. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

“I love Kinza. It’s a cute but no pretension type of sushi spot! Their rolls come with 10 pieces (not 8) AND you can order half size rolls even for their specialty rolls which is INCREDIBLE. Very fresh, flavorful, lots of good combos, and service is excellent.

“I randomly found this place when I was in the area. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The service was superb, we got seated right away and got our water right away. We ordered the noodles, XLB and popcorn chicken and cucumber salad. The XLB was so juicy and I didn’t expect a stream to shoot out from my mouth from the first bite into the XLB. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone with the XLB juice. I will be back to try other dishes.“

“Been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. Glad we finally did. Excellent food, much better than any Jinya Ramen. We had a bunch of appetizers. Indeed, their Takoyaki was amazing, Howard Yang! 😍 We had 2 seasonal specials, the Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll and the cold Tan Tan ramen. Both were fantastic, albeit a bit too spicy for me. Service is super friendly. We will definitely be back. Want to try a bunch of other things, including the hot ramens.“

“Great Cantonese restaurant! My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food is delicious and cooked like in Hong Kong. We had filet mignon and asparagus, sea food chow mein, Peking duck, snow pea leaf and mixed vegetables - mushroom, bok choi, fried tofu, bean sprouts, and broccoli (vegetarian dish). This place has a lot of old clientele, and tbe food is delicious.“

“I was craving a comforting bowl of noodle soup and was so glad to discover this hidden gem. The restaurant is located on the third floor of an office-style building and can be reached by either the escalators or the stairs. The space is cozy. I chose to sit outside during my visit.

I ordered the Seafood Nabeyaki, and it completely satisfied my craving. The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with fresh vegetables and generous seafood. It was so delicious that I ended up ordering it again for delivery just a few days later. Definitely a dish I'd recommend and will be coming back for!“

“This is omakase as it is meant to be. The freshest fish, prepared with care, and served in a minimalist but friendly and welcoming environment. This isn’t pretentious, place to be seen sushi, and it’s not for cool points, it’s just good people making a great meal. Given the quality of fish, it’s worth the price and then some.

They stayed open late for a 1-person party and I had just the best experience. Chef Shin is a real one, and Jun gives friendly prompt service. Best miso soup I’ve had, and the menu was well considered and perfectly executed.

It’s the kind of hole in the wall that will leave your date impressed with you, not because it’s fancy, but it’s a quintessentially Japanese omakase experience. Make a reservation, thank me later.“

“The food was delicious, especially the scallion pancakes, which were the best I’ve ever had. The Dan noodles were a good match with the braised beef. Popcorn chicken was delicious. The soup dumplings were okay, but they were not very large for the price. The rice and sides were also good.

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend it.“

Our server Nicole who is extremely nice by the way was very knowledgeable as to how they prepare their Curry she highlighted the chili paste from Thailand.
