Above all, they treated us like family. We will absolutely be having more family dinners here. If you are reading reviews to see where you should go to eat this is THE place to go. P.S. “First time at New Korea Restaurant and I was genuinely impressed.
It’s a small, hidden spot in a quiet residential neighborhood. Not loud or trendy — just calm and comfortable. Most of the customers seemed like locals, and you can tell many of them are regulars.
The restaurant is very clean, which immediately made us feel at ease. The elderly server was incredibly kind and attentive. The side dishes were refilled quickly without us even having to ask. The soup was delicious and arrived still boiling at the table — those little details really make a difference.
There’s a real Korean home-style cooking feeling here. It’s not fancy, but every bite feels warm, comforting, and satisfying — the kind of food that makes you feel taken care of.
At the end, they even gave us complimentary small drinks, which was such a sweet touch.
Definitely a humble, hidden gem that deserves more love. We’ll be back.“

“Greeted with a smile, it was clean and smelled amazing inside. TACO TUESDAY! I got 5 carne asada tacos and as I waited and people poured in, one man stopped (unsolicited) to tell me how these are the best tacos in the city. I just had them and they are super delicious!“

“I really enjoyed the combination of ahi tuna, salmon, mango, edamame, crunchy garlic, jalapeño, tobiko(eggs), spicy sauce, seaweeds...yummmy! Although there is no indoor seating, it was refreshing to eat outdoors.“

“First time eating here. I have almost stopped eating at fast food chains completely. But my wife was hangry and power ordered online. Not one to talk the semantics of health vs fast food, nor looking forward to couch diving for the night, I said, “fantastic idea, babe,” and then responded, “spicy beef” when she asked what i wanted.

The place was poppin pretty good, but it was dinnertime. She had an orange chicken bowl. My spicy teriyaki beef (w/ all veggies) was actually spicy. I enjoy spicy chicken sandos wherever I can get them(real spicy chicken, not Jack or Chick Fil A) and also the Hot Ones challenge from YOUTUBE fame. I was pleasantly surprised that this had enough heat to make my nose run, not to mention a follow up date with the heat the next day, if you smell what I’m cookin.

It wasn’t cheap, but alas, fast food isn’t cheap anymore. I can say that I’m a 260lb ogre and the serving size did fill me up. Speaking of health, I should’ve probably split it into two meals. What do they say? “Gordo big and gordo home?” I should probably trademark that.

All in all, this was a bit like Panda on steroids. And most importantly, it satisfied the hungry beast raging inside my wife and I was allowed to sleep in our bed for the night.“

“Had a solid meal with the guys. We ordered the chicken taquitos for the table. I got the Cali wrap with carne asada. They ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas and the combo meal with chicken enchilada and shredded beef taco. Everything was superb. Ask for the salsa verde if you like some kick. The complimentary chips and salsa are great as well.“

The menu is seasonal, which is nice, to try some new things, and it's a generous amount of food.
