“Absolutely in love with this place. Gigi and her mom have built something special here. The BEST gluten free donuts I have ever had. I’ve been gluten free for five years and have been consistently disappointed with crumbly, dry donuts. Not anymore. This place has changed the game. Their donuts are perfectly moist and amazingly flavorful. I am beaming after visiting this place. Easily my new favorite spot and I will definitely be coming back. Impeccable vibes from the super chill baristas.“

my job gives you a free 1-topping pizza for your birthday and i said meatlovers. apparently “meatlovers is not 1 topping” so i doubled down and said “prosciutto” to which i was told “if you can find a spot that has just prosciutto, let us know”

so here we are with a cheese pizza and a prosciutto add-on later and hey, can’t complain. you guys helped me out in my time of tomfoolery. thank you“

“Modern, clean cafe with yummy Asian inspired treats. We got their chocolate mochi brownie, miso cinnamon roll, and cream bun.

All were delicious, but the mochi brownie was our favorite. The miso perfectly complements the cinnamon roll and the roll still tastes sweet. The cream bun was so soft and not too sweet.

Street parking available nearby. Cafe has good seating, high ceilings, and modern decor.“

“I have been to the 2 Little Tokyo locations and this one is definitely the winner! there’s a huge variety of pastries and things to eat for a quick bite (you might probably have to eat it standing or elsewhere during the weekends since it gets pretty packed and there’s just 3 tables!) but the steamed buns were good!, the matcha mochi wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect, the almond croissant was fine but their specialty is definitely on other pastries! will definitely come back again to try more stuff.“

“This place came to the rescue!!! The wedding cake I had made fell over on the long drive. It was a disaster!! Other bakeries near the wedding venue were already closed and others needed at least 48 hour notice… the wedding was happening NOW. I called Sonora Bakery in my final desperate attempt, explained the situation, sent them a picture of the cake and within minutes, they got to work. The cake was delicious and the wedding was saved. Thank you Sonora Bakery…. You have a customer for life!“

“The food here is pretty good. We ordered Pho, sandwich, chicken egg rolls and vermicelli. Take awhile for the food to come out but it’s worth it. Chicken egg rolls are surprisingly taste very like pork egg rolls. Recommend this place if you want to try Vietnamese food in Little Tokyo.“

“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

I had their matcha latte with whole milk and it was delicious. The right flavor and temperature. The place looks like a great spot to pull up a laptop and listen to some good music.

I can't judge the authenticity and I do wish they had a few more choices different (and healthier?) from their current selection. They do have vegetarian options, although they don't always have them in stock. The drinks also satisfy my coffee cravings.

They have free wifi, but it isn't a place to sit and work for more than a couple of hours, but they have a bathroom for customers.“

“Follow the sign at Painter Avenue. Park your car at the first parking spot you see. Proceed down the driveway (look left) until you see the door in the fence. Walk to the left of the canopy and walk up the stairs to the "will call" office. Knock on the door until someone answers. They will walk you to the bakery where you can choose and pay for your bread. They take cash and cards. Excellent bread at great prices. I paid $5 for a large loaf of sourdough bread. Would definitely recommend!“

“This was my first experience here. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their cakes, and I can say it really lived up to the hype! I got Churro de chocolate and churro dulce de leche. I LOVED the chocolate one! It was amazing, and it paired really well with a cup of cold milk. Dulce de leche was so so SO sweet, that’s a reason I was about to give 4 stars. I expected a better blend of tastes for this one, maybe less sugar and sweetness from the cake since dulce de leche is sweet enough. So helpful with recommendations when asked, provides great detail, and is so enthusiastic about the incredible menu. Tocaya at 2nd & PCH has lovely, fresh, bright, clean food. The menu is unique and flexible. You get to choose the protein you want, the cheese you want, whether or not you want your dish to be vegan. So many options and super tasty food! My friend really enjoyed the VEGAN Asada & VEGAN Tinga tacos. I loved my Taco Salad with gluten-free, battered & fried mahi-mahi (that was so, so scrumptious) with Queso Fresco. I swapped and got the cilantro lime dressing (instead of the roasted poblano dressing) and my bowl of goodies was delicious. We shared and relished the Street Corn and the (VEGAN) Queso & Chips. We were both shocked to find the Queso was VEGAN; it’s that good! We also tried the vegan Crema, just to check it out — SO yummy. AND the obviously homemade chips were mouthwatering. Tocaya has seasonal Sangria selections, beer, and other interesting drink options. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating… and I recommend you head over soon!“

“Absolutely delicious! Can’t go wrong with SusieCakes. Chocolate cake is my all time favorite. Perfect for chocolate lovers. This time I ordered a slice of celebration cake and did not disappoint. Very moist and the flavor was just right.
They also offer a variety of cupcakes.
