“This place is FANTASTIC. I went here for the first time tonight, and was just blown away. I had high expectations because the reviews were already so good, and they met them and were even exceeded.First off, the inside of the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, as well as clean and orderly. They have different seating options depending on if it is shared or individual hot pots, but all of them are fine. The menu is extensive and straight forward. You select your options using a dry erase menu, and then they bring it out. In addition to the usual hot pot staples, they also have tasty appetizers and desserts like crab rangoons, beef short ribs, freshly fried Chinese donuts, ice cream, and fried dough with evaporated milk. And yes, as many other reviews mention, the biang biang noodles are EXCELLENT!The final thing I have to really sing the praise of is the service. The staff member we had waiting on us was SO kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Near the end of the meal, my mom wanted to sample things so she was requesting single items. Like just one single fish ball, and just two pieces of Chinese donut. The waitress did not even bat an eye at these requests, and she did indeed come back with a single fish ball, and sample size portions of the Chinese donut. It was going above and beyond! She also made sure to ask if we wanted ice cream since it isn’t on the menu and she wanted to be sure we knew they had it! I gave her a generous tip because she honestly made our night better with her cheery and helpful presence, and she even came back over and thanked us. No thanks was needed, we just wanted to thank her!All in all, Top Pot was a wonderful experience and I definitely plan to be back!“

“This was my first time visiting Fiery Hot Pot. I was part of a 4-top party going in just after 6pm on a Sunday evening, without a reservation. We were promptly seated within 5-minutes upon arriving! The ambience is pleasant and modern, the layout with open seating tables and booths provide an option for guests to have either more intimate or informal dining scenarios. Considering you are likely to be sharing hot pot entrees, you may want to be secluded with your party or share in the delight of creating your very own version of hot pot soup making. As one of my party guests remarked, it is analogous to a "choose your own adventure game"! Which I believe is both an appropriate comparison and worthy of a chuckle. The service was prompt and courteous. We were given options to choose either the 2-meat option with 6-a la carte tapas to choose from (each), or the unlimited option. We went the route of each ordering our own 2-meats. We each chose a variation of Wagyu beef cuts, chicken breast, pork belly, and premium pork options for our respective 2-meat orders. We chose the roasted tomato and pork broth options for the soup, mild and non-spicy respectively for the spice options. As we waited for the soups to arrive, we proceeded to select our tapas to add to or adjoin our hot pot entree. The tapas offered are extensive and include a variety of greens including kale, purple sweet potato, assortments of mushrooms, vermicelli, udon, ramen, iterations of tofu, aromatics including chives, ginger, garlic, and plenty of sauces. The choices left me feeling resplendent! The tapas were chosen, artfully and dutifully. We were ready for our sumptuous soup slurping! It was delicious! We all enjoyed our meat selections and the tapas provided many twists and turns to our hunger-inspired adventure. The story evolving with each passing minute, as the soup and its story revealed its ever increasing rich flavor, the water evaporating slowly as the intensity of our added characters of meats and sides created tension and release for our main characters, our taste buds! It sure was a grand story. The meal's adventure came to an enchanting ending as we were given the option of either vanilla ice cream or a small glass of coconut Jell-O. Both provided a delightful resolution to that evening's quest. The belly's dragon being tamed, we claimed victory with the aid of Fiery Hot Pot!“

“Ambience 5/5 - A super chic and modern restaurant. There is residential parking around the area so it's not too difficult to find a place to park. The actual restaurant is pretty sizable and looks really nice and modern! - there are tables and also booths to sit in. The only thing to note is that the floor tiling can be slippery if it's wet/rainy outside. Service 5/5 - you can sign up for the waitlist by walking in and signing in on a tablets. I believe you can also be put on the waitlist through Yelp. Overall, the servers are pretty young, but it's very responsive and helpful! Nelson was fantastic and took the time to explain the different soup bases and sauces! They were also really proactive with offering soup, base refills, and water refills! Food 5/5 - high-quality meats, yummy options of spicy/non-spicy soup bases, but the star of the show... was the SAUCES Omgosh. Amazing. Made everything soo soooooi good! We loved the crunchy spicy (had pumpkin seeds and peanuts in chilli oil), and the green sauce stuff! Mushroom sauce came in a close second. We also tried the Spicy butter (spicy, and beef fat... tasted AMAZING with the ramen omg), Tom Yum (was alright, but pretty tangy, not surprisingly), and the Sichuan spicy. Perhaps will try the miso next time :) Overall a really, really great experience (approx cost $35 per person) We will be back again !“

“Nothing but good words about Shabu house, my favorite Shabu chain! Always hit the spot in every location I've been to because they're consistent with their flavor and quality. Staff is always so friendly here even when very busy. This location is relatively large compared to their other two locations in San Francisco. Great spot for parties/ large groups of five plus and more. They take reservations for larger groups but I normally come with one or two friends at most and get seated pretty quickly. I like that there sign in to join the waitlist is on a large whiteboard easily visible.I ordered the Large Individual Shabu Entree - lamb with spicy miso soup, and was already pretty stuffed halfway through, but everything was so good so I powered through it LOL. The entree comes with a large platter of thinly cut meat( cut to order), a large platter of vegetables including cabbage, spinach, mushroom, Enoki mushroom, carrots, and tofu and carb options including udon and rice included. I love that they give you the whole Sesame bottle now along with the ponzu sauce to refill at your own pace. I could literally drink their sesame sauce... it's just that good to me. I like to add garlic and green onions to my ponzu sauce, and sesame sauce in a separate bowl.Parking is a doozy here, hit or miss depending on what time you go and if it is a weeknight or weekend. There's residential parking on the same block as a restaurant and needed parking on the main road. The entrance of the restaurant is very unassuming, and tucked on a very quiet street.Great spot, awesome vibes, there's always sports playing at the bar. Save room for the complimentary ice cream. Lastly, big FYI, they automatically charge a service fee AKA tip (regardless of your party size).“

“My partner and I wanted to eat hot pot and Shabu Shack was perfectly located near our place. We went in around 8:30pm and were seated pretty quickly. Staff was attentive and quick. The atmosphere was clean, organized, and open. Between the two of us (and we weren't outrageously hungry), we shared: a large Kobe beef in medium sichuan spicy broth, Kobe fries, and potstickers. I also had a lychee soju beverage, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall we enjoyed all the the dishes. The hot pot broth (medium special sichuan) was yummy but a little too punchy and spicy. I might opt for mild or a different broth next time. The large portion of beef was the perfect amount between the two of us for being not too hungry. My partner really loved the Kobe fries. Overall, I would totally come back again. While I felt it was a little pricier (paid a total of $85 and we could have went to an AYCE hot pot for about the same amount), I enjoyed the meal, service, and close location. If you're in the area, I'd recommend you try this spot.“

“A dear friend invited me to experience a bit of "traditional" Hong Kong style hot pot. It was a different experience for me as I had not been to a restaurant where you get literally a hot pot and then you have to dip meat of one form or another into it and you add all the ingredients on the fly -- egg, veggies, tofu? Etc... And apparently I started off wrong, but once she showed me how it was yum yum all the way through. Be sure to come hungry because it's an unending supply of soup and you can always order more of the beef, lamb or other meats. #TheBrokerWithAHeart.Parking: This is a mall in this thing and parking is always available.“

“Tang bar is a grab in a bowl to add to your dish kind of food establishment. You grab ingredients, and they charge by the pound prior to adding it to a soup base or stir fry. I've only ever gotten the soup base, though, and have tried a few different flavors from their spicest to their most mild, and I've enjoyed them all. The ingredients all feel fresh, and every broth is extremely flavorful.I would give this place close to 5 stars every time. However, on my last visit with a few friends and my significant other, Tang bar somehow mixed our two ingredients bowls up.I got the spicest flavor broth, and my friends got the pickled mild spice. The only remedy Tang Bar did was to drain the soup and place the ingredients in the original soup base. This caused my friends ingredients to be too spicy for them to eat, and my veggies were wilted and meat too chewy because of the double boiling of the ingredients. This also caused us to have to wait even longer for our food, up to about another 20 to 25 minutes.Other than that mess up, it would be 5 stars all around the board, but because of this slip up, I would give Tang bar closer to 4.5 stars rounded down due to Google rating system.Vegetarian options: Pick your own ingredients, so it's easy to choose all vegetarian options.Parking: Parking lot is shared between all of Stonestown Mall parking, so depending on when you go and how far you want to walk will determine if there is parking or not.“

“Yes, you can have both hot pot and BBQ at the same table. We were party of 13 seating in two adjacent tables and enjoyed the food and drinks. The restaurant gets super busy so it is recommended to make a reservation beforehand especially on weekends. We ordered soups and BBQ for us. Soups came out but they didn’t bring spoons. We put stuffs on soup already and still no spoons… May be they were out of spoons? Probably after 15 minutes or so they brought spoons to one table and still didn’t have for another. We would understand if we were communicated the sort of utensils at the moment but no one informed us. Finally after 20 minutes we got our spoons. Had to request to three different servers for soup spoons. We were only given soup serving spoon , we managed with it...Food and drinks were good. They have beers, sake and sake pitchers. It’s a really good place for large groups. They also have private rooms for large groups. We ordered six rice in our table and 7 in another and for us, it came out in one big bowl with no serving spoon. We were like ??! What a service! it should have come out in the individual portions bowls… again if there’s sort of rice bowls, just communicate with us.Parking: Located near 24 hours fitness center and some other retail stores and banks, usually the dinner time there are lots of empty parking.?️“

The meat is absolutely fresh and clean, so I don't feel sick after eating it. I love the ginger chicken broth, so light but also super flavorful. Adding garlic and onions makes it even more tasty. The sides include napa cabbage, spinach, mushrooms, carrots, tofu, udon and rice. Depends who's working that day, but the service is a hit or miss. “On a chilly day, my craving for something spicy led me to Tasty Pot, where I ordered the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup. It comes with napa, beef slices, fish fillet, clam, aorta, imitation crabmeat, tempura, fishball, beef ball, zucchini, enoki mushroom, black mushroom, potato slices, frozen tofu, fried tofu puff, fried tofu skin, potato, noodle, and scallion. The soup itself tasted pretty decent and did an excellent job of warming up my body in the cold weather. What made the experience even better was that I had enough soup left to take home and turn into my own noodle soup for another meal. The flavors held up beautifully, and it felt like getting two delicious meals for the price of one.A pro tip for those planning to visit Tasty Pot: There's a convenient parking garage right next to the restaurant, making your dining experience even more hassle-free.“
