“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. We will come back because it was such a nice treat. One of those places that makes me love living in California!“

“This was a great meal! The side salad/soup/apps/entrees came out of the kitchen fairly spaced out so it felt almost like a fine dining experience. Did take a while so know that it is a whole dining experience - not just a quick meal out to eat. I got the Saba no Shioyaki grilled and liked that better than the sushi my partner got. The tempura was amazing and so was the Age Dashi Tofu appetizer!“

“We came in for a late lunch after checking into our hotel. The food came out fast, I think the owner was our waitress. Their gator sauce was to die for! We did fish and chips and two orders of calamari! I even told one of the neighbors in the hotel to go try it for their lunch today! Can’t wait to go back to visit!!“

“Food was super delicious! Check pea flour fried artichokes hearts we yummy, Deviled eggs are the best starter and a must have on every visit. This was our first time having the Shrimp Louie salad and it is now my favorite in all of SF. It is shredded and ready to eat. Presentation alone has high marks and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We split the Cioppino with the added pasta on the side. Yuu-uuuummmmm! Lots of seafood and the soup base had us making deals for the dregs at the end.“

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

They also have curry chicken katsu (crispy and delicious), sushi, ramen, and takoyaki. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!“

“Parking: free parking, but very busy over the weekend.

I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“Love this place, I keep coming back. They have a standout Beef Chow Fun with generous beef and strong wok hei. I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai which I miss from Singapore, and feel is pretty uncommon for Chinese restos in SF. We've also tried many other items - clams with egg, rock cod and tofu claypot, etc - all homey and delicious.

The uncle who runs the place is pretty friendly and charming to EVERYONE too (also uncommon for Chinese restos for non-Chinese speaking diners)!“

And shoutout to the super friendly young fishmonger (reddish beard) is always helpful, informative and happy. Much more knowledgeable and helpful vs the Whole Foods counter down the block.

“I found this place while searching Uber eats 2 weeks ago but was turned off by their 4.2 rating. I took a chance last night anyways and was not disappointed. The lemon pepper wings were the best we have tried. The shrimp, snow crab, and lobster combo was perfect in ultimate medium spicy sauce. The food was still super hot upon delivery. We would have liked more corn but was ok sharing the 2 pieces. The driver was on time and followed the instructions so well our dog didn't hear him til he was leaving. Will definitely order again and try to eat at the location.“

“I came in on (9/1) right before 7 pm with 3 of my friends. It seemed a little busy for a monday…well, it’s labor day. Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us. One of my friends had a togo order and she waited to make sure the burger got to us before she left her shift. she was so genuinely gracious, pleasant and accommodating We all hope she is working the next time we are in. she’s a great server.❤️ we’re already planning our next trip“

“In The Bay, regardless of what type of cuisine, we have SO MANY options! I've probably patronized over 25 pupusarias in the last 10 years, but this joint is hands-down the absolute BEST! The pork and cheese pupusas were absolutely PERFECT! Fresh ingredients, cooked evenly where the filling was moist with bustling flavors and the outside was nice and crispy. “Not many restaurants open at 7 am, so I just chose Neal's. First time I have been asked if I wanted my corned beef hash and hash browns crispy. Usually I would mention it when ordering.

I prefer the corned beef beef bits a little bigger, but at least it didn't have a disproportionate amount of potatoes. The corned beef hash and the hash browns came very crispy, potato chip crispy. 😋

“This place serves authentic cuisine with delicious options. The dungeness crab in garlic and butter sauce was amazing. All the side dishes that come with it were tasty with my favorite being the garlic noodles. Mango and Coconut ice cream at the end was the perfect touch. “I rarely leave reviews for restaurants but I couldn't not do it for Lion. The owner and her husband Chef Tom were so incredibly sweet; what would have been tricky to serve my in-laws and a fussy 1 year old ended up being the most amazing experience. The service was top notch and fast, the inside of the restaurant is fun and romantic, and on top of that, ALL our food was phenomenal - my husband and I agreed that we want to keep coming back and make it one of our regulars. Thank you Lion for such a memorable night for our family 💜“
