“Vegan Sandwich and the Vegan Rolls were great. The sandwich is large, served warm, and is tasty. Filled with Tofu, Yams, Carrots, Jicama.
The rolls are great. Decently sized and 4 come in an order. They’re all individually wrapped. Delectable.
Can’t wait to go back. :)“

“We had probably one of the best Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng around the city !
The bread was crunchy toasted, the sweet&sour carrots matched perfectly and the meat was very tasty. The friendly staff was so welcoming and made the experience really authentic.
At a very fair price you get delicious Banh Mi.“

“Been meaning to review this location.
This location is perfect for crab and lobster lovers. We ordered the crab and lobster set menu and had both the crab and lobster cooked with garlic sauce. I was told it was amazing, since I am allergic to both crab and lobster, I more of the garlic noodles -yummy., papaya salad, steamed sea bass and charbroiled pork. I really liked their garlic noodles. It’s as good as Thanh Long .“

“My parents had a craving--no, a calling--for the kind of Vietnamese-Chinese noodle soup that could awaken old memories and warm the soul. I was determined to find the very best in the city, a place worthy of their nostalgia.
That quest led us to Thai Nghiep Ky Mi Gia, tucked away in the heart of San Francisco's Sunset District.
The moment we stepped in, the air was rich with the scent of simmering broth. We were seated instantly, greeted with a smile that felt like an old friend welcoming us home. Then came the bowls--piping hot, fragrant, and full of flavor. One sip of the broth and we were transported straight back to the bustling streets of Saigon, where time slowed and every bite was a memory reborn.
The atmosphere was laid-back yet full of life, the service warm and attentive, and every spoonful felt like an embrace from the past.
For anyone seeking not just a meal, but a journey--I wholeheartedly recommend it.“

“Excellent food. I’ve only been able to try the sandwiches, but the two I got were tasty. I tried the combo and the crispy duck. I’ll have to go back to try the pho. It just opened when I got there. They got my sandwiches very quick. The ambiance was nice and modern with plenty of seating. Service was nice and helpful. It’s a little more than what I’m use to for a Banh Mi Sandwich, but I have to take into consideration the neighborhood I’m purchasing it from. I’ll definitely come back.“

“I love coming here for boba !!! It’s super cheap and good quality. I come here ALL the time just for the boba. Their sandwiches are super good and they also sell fresh hot bread for $1 a piece. I love the strawberry smoothie (they add whipped cream and fruit jelly), matcha latte and classic milk tea“

“The pho ga was the best I've ever had (which makes sense given the name). The broth was super savory and not noticeably sweet as it has been at other pho places I've been to. The chicken had some skin and I believe a mixture of dark and white meat and was very flavorful. It reminded me of Hainanese chicken rice (which I consider a positive thing) possibly because the broth had scallions and it was served with a side of minced ginger (it might have been ginger and garlic, not sure)). My partner got the grilled pork vermicelli which was also quite good.“

“The pho, noticeably fragrant. 20 hours of simmering evident in the deepness of taste, buttery from the marrow drawn from bones. Clean and translucent broth, an indicator of quality. The wait time, a result of perfectly boiled-to-order rice noodles. What’s missing in decor is over-compensated by taste. Come for a rare-find bowl of solid noodle soup — no frills, but very simply delicious.“

“Used to go there when they were on Lombard when my brother worked at the presidio. We would eat our subs at Chrissy field on a park bench. He lives in Maryland now and still asks if I still go there. I moved to the Valley and would dream about the best beef teriyaki sandwich I’ve ever had.“

“Came to try this place after noticing it while ordering Korean Fried Chicken next door. It's in the strip mall next to 280 on San Bruno Ave. Place is huge, a little dark, and I haven't seen it being crowded ever. Do note that they are closed on Sunday which is really weird for most Asian restaurant.
The food is decent but nothing special. Don't think the soup is from actual bone soup but with the price I don't expect them to. They however gives you a lot of meat for the price. I feel like I got a decent deal. Service is also good. You do have to pay at the counter.“

“Best sandwich ever in Excelsior area The bread is always crunchy and the meat is amazingly flavorful. My always choice is of course #6 grilled pork with well-seasoned meat and abundantly fresh veggies. #3 combination is also a should-try . It is what I believe the most traditional one. Besides these, a must-have is definitely Vietnamese ice coffee. It is made strong and sweet beautifully bringing me back the flavor which I always miss when being away from home. A strongly- recommended spot when you are in the area...“

“I've been wanting to go here for a while now. I walked in and it was packed. The place was super busy. There were so many items to choose from, it was hard to not make my own sampler. The place is simply decorated but ig ready for a post. I was greeted right away and placed my order for to go.I ordered:1. Iced Vietnamese coffee - I was surprised it was made the traditional way, pour over. A lot of places nowadays just have it ready to pour over ice. This was the perfect pick me up for lunch. Sweet with just the right amount of punch.2. Fried egg rolls - So crispy, it doesn't even need the sauce. The wrapper they used was different and gave you an extra crunchiness.3. Grilled beef over rice with egg roll - The beef was super tender and flavorful. I liked that for once it didn't come with a salad but instead possibly picked carrots and daikon?Overall, the food was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Didn't have to wait too long and the food was fresh. Highly recommend and I look forward to comimg back soon.“

“The food at this small restaurant is great, to say the least. The atmosphere here resembles that of a family-owned restaurant. The broth and noodles are great and everything works well together. “One portion is about 6 inches subway and a little more. The price is very cost-effective! The bread at this restaurant is crispy French bread with pickled radish shreds and other vegetables inside. It feels very refreshing and nutritious! Recommend shredded pork (I like it more than a combo)
This store does not have a storefront to the outside world. You have to go through the "hospital" (?) gate first and turn left, and you will see it. There is a menu sign outside the building.“

“Solid vietnamese food in the sunset district. The vermicelli dish was great. I love the seasoned pork and the tang from the pickled vegetables. We all ordered pho and that was pretty good as well. The meat was not overcooked as long as you ready it before it sits too long in the hot broth.“

“Stopped by during lunchtime, and it was pretty busy. Their staff was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. I got the #2 pho, and the broth was absolutely delicious. The broth was not oily. They definitely took their time to make the pho broth, and they made it with quality ingredients.
I also got a combo a rice plate Togo. I didn't care much for the eggroll. It had too much potatoes or taro for my liking. The fish sause chicken wing was crispy and actually pretty good. The grilled pork was flavorful as well.
I'll definitely be back.“

“I inhaled the first half of my combination pork sandwich from the Bhan Mi House, but managed to snap a pic of this half.. it’s the perfect ratio of meat, fresh/pickled veggies, and super crisp roll! Also, the service was friendly and fast.

“Dropped by this place with family before grocery shopping in the same plaza. Parking was a mess on a Sunday at lunch time, so keep that in mind. The place wasn't busy so we sat right down and were promptly served.
I got the laksa, the rest of the family got pho. It's not quite the mindblowing laksa you could get in SE Asia, but for Daly City it was pretty good. The quest for a good bowl of laksa continues.
I liked how the restaurant has an additional sink outside the restroom, makes washing hands way more convenient. I wish they had fried tofu on the menu.
Pay cash to avoid the card premium.“

“I have been here many times, and it’s been awhile since my last visit. This is usually where I go when I am in the area and in the mood for Pho Ga (Chicken pho). They open early for breakfast and have some special sets you can order, such as a rice noodle set, a porridge combo, sandwich set and a noodle soup set meal. Their menu also consists of pho, rice plates, pho ga, etc. They are known for the Pho ga, which is hard nowadays to find a place that serves authentic pho ga. In the morning in can get busy due to the breakfast rush and for the reasonable prices they offer. I was told they open even earlier on the weekends, so please plan accordingly. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving for pho ga, want a great breakfast spot or just so happen to be in the area and is not afraid of trying new things. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.“
“Honestly can't even complain. Perfect for late night food. Piping hot pho. Good flavor bbq pork. Even has beverages as well. Service can be a bit slow, but if you're going late at night you have nothing to worry about. Definitely will come back again if i get the late night munchies.“

“I invited my sister for her birthday -- something light and savory, Pho and spring rolls (and a couple of Boba drinks). From the start, my how things have changed. I came here when they were starting out, and it was similar but not the same. There was a long line and a short wait -- service is fast, albeit a little frenetic and high volume ambient noise. But, I'm there to eat and that is what we did. Surprise! The spring rolls shrunk, still good, just not too plenty. But, overall, it is as good as I remember it when they opened many years ago! #TheBrokerWithAHeart“

“If u like not so sweet desserts and drinks, this is the place to be. We ordered the ube, pandon, and matcha waffles. You can really taste the tea in the matcha. “Revisited this spot & still so good. Tried the vegan iced Thai tea for the first time and it was delicious!! The alternative is coconut milk fyi. My go to is the pork ban mi but most items I’ve had are good. A perf little spot after spending the day in Pacifica surf or hiking. Ps. Love that they are always blasting the jams in there!
