“A 4 in one location! Loved the variety of the different type of foods! The soups were delicious, the smash burger smelled good(didn’t taste it was for my young son) which he said was good, the arugula salad so tasty and the pink power salad was indescribable(that good) definitely coming back again. Loved this new find in K-Town that serves great Korean Home Food. Reminds me of the countryside restaurants with “mom food”. Everything was good. Special shout out to their Yukgejang, one of my faves. The White Bean Noodle Soup was ground fresh. The Cutlass Fish. The bottomless Ban Chan and Kkak Doi Gee is good!!! Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to try more of their dishes.“

The lobster quality is great with thick claw meat and a nice sized pickle. The tomato bisque isn't bad, but I'll try the clam chowder next time.

Good Lobster is hard to come by since COVID. On splurge days, this is a really good choice. The people are cool too.“

“The stars aligned. We were overjoyed to find a BOB vegan restaurant, inspired by grandcestor Dr. Sebi's alkaline nutritional guide. Highly recommend Beyond Vegan - Culver City. The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“I’ve been struggling to find a decent Tonkatsu, but this one is among the best Ive had in the US. I’m not an expert in Japanese cuisine but I have been to Japan a few times an this place is within striking distance of the average tonkatsus I had there. I’ll be back when I’m in the area“

“I love this pho spot! The ambience is great. The customer service is speedy and you are immediately given a warm welcome as you step in. The food is also really good (although I’ve only ever ordered number 4, the steak and brisket pho 👌🏽). I did try a bit of the shrimp pho when my mom ordered it, and it was good, but I’m more into beef than seafood, so that’s just personal preference. Definitely check it out. This was where I tried pho for the first time and it hits the spot every time.“

“I made a trip to this spot after seeing the great reviews, and overall was ok. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, and the service was pleasant.

We ordered the ribs combo pho and the brisket and meatball pho — both bowls had a solid, flavorful broth that hit the spot. The ribs wasnt that amazing. The egg rolls were crispy and well-seasoned. Thai tea was also great.

My main gripe is the meat portions felt a little skimpy for the price — I expected a bit more generosity in the bowl. At around $60 for two people, it’s on the pricier side for pho, which did temper the experience slightly.

That said, the quality is clearly there. If the portions were bigger or the price a touch lower, this would be an easy five stars. Worth a visit, but go in with calibrated expectations on value.“

There was no unpleasant pork smell, and the thickly sliced meat was very tender.
The pickled perilla leaves served as a side dish were especially delicious—I recommend placing them on the meat and eating them together.“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“I was staying next door at the Hampton Inn and looking for authentic food. Ms. Nat was so sweet and amazing. The Thai Tea is the best I have ever had. The first meal was drunken noodles with beef - incredible. The 2nd meal was Pad Thai with chicken and thai spice; she added a special sweet & sour spice that made this the best Thai meal I have ever had.“

“What an amazing Olive Garden! I have eaten at quite a few, but this one honestly was the best I have ever been to. The staff were so polite, shout out Saira! They also sang happy birthday with such enthusiasm and Saira decorated the plate beautifully with the words “happy birthday” written in cursive using caramel. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff and atmosphere were amazing. 10/10 Will be coming again.“

I did order Jasmine Green tea but unfortunately didn’t have any hot teas available. Service was a little on the slow side but was very professional. I recommend the Veggie Egg rolls. I have been looking for these egg rolls for a while and finally found them here.“

“Gastrobots eats is one of my favorite restaurants in LA!! The food here is so consistently good, very high quality and they make it so fast but it still taste like a homemade meal from your grandma. I’m a food snob and I’m repeatedly happy every time I eat from this restaurant. I usually order to-go and it tastes just as good as eating it in the restaurant. The owner is so nice as well. “It is your typical mom and pop's Korean soup joint. The atmosphere is like a cafeteria filled with photos of the past, simple and clean. It has a small menu, but the soup base is amazing. The beef broth has tremendous amount of flavor, clean, rich, the beef and tendons are succulent. The soup is not seasoned (salted) so you can taste the original beef flavor, and you can add the salt as you like it. The simple meal for two is about $50. It was a great find for us.“

“One of my regulars, when it comes to spicy sundaeguk, this is definitely the place.
I've been going to this place since it was in front of Kim's Electric, on Olympic Road.
I go to this place when I go to Vegas, and I go to this place when I go to San Diego.
It's one of my favorite restaurants.
Tip: To-Jong Sun-Dae is tastier than just the regular Sun-Dae.“
