The Caprese did not have balsmic vinegar and is served with a pesto sauce and was SOOOO good! We also ordered the soup of the day which was the Italian Sausage soup, and I only regret not ordering TWO! Other reviews said parking was a challenge, but we parked in the parking lot just east of the restaurant.”

First I'll rate the pizza: YUM! It doesn't taste anything like Little Caesar's or Fast 5 or any of the other reliable ol cheap pizza. It's very unique. My kids, who are normally picky eaters, and don't ever eat more than a slice or two at a time, ATE TWO BOXES!!!! lol

AND HALAL!!!!!! 🥹 I haven't had a pepperoni pizza in years because I don't eat pork, so I was already excited about that, then I found out that EVERY menu item is halal 🥹🥹🥹 so we got the Hawaiian as well for round two!! 😋

It was clean, fresh, and welcoming.

We were treated like family, I genuinely felt like we were visiting a relative and enjoying a yummy meal at the same time.

“We looked for a restaurant to meet at halfway for a reunion with our L.A. friends (we are in the Coachella Valley) and the Yelp reviews indicated that Tartan would be a match. We wanted old school steakhouse vibe with red leatherette booths and dark atmosphere with stiff cocktails. Wow, did we ever hit the bullseye with this great place! The food was just what we all wanted, the aesthetic was spot on, and to top it off our waitress Tina was a kick in the pants. The dining room filled up for lunch time with older folks and had a club type vibe going on, in a really good way. I was touched as we first walked in and there was a little alcove that featured a small table set for one, which was in tribute to (I believe) fallen military soldiers. We look forward to meeting up at Tartan again and highly recommend it to all who appreciate a true vintage gem of a restaurant.”

“Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is truly a hidden gem nestled in the charming heart of Downtown Redlands! I stopped by this ice cream shop yesterday after work. The inside of Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is stunningly decorated and perfect in appearance. I absolutely loved their island-inspired design and the laid-back ambiance. The staff were friendly, humble, welcoming, and incredibly cooperative. They offer an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering Ice cream, Smoothies, Desserts, and Drinks. I chose Brownie Sundae with Pistachio, Double Fudge Chocolate, and Vanilla Ice Cream. They beautifully decorated the dessert with toppings like Sprinkles, Peanuts, Chocolate Syrup, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on top, making it look even more photogenic and irresistible. I took a few snaps of my beautifully decorated dessert and started devouring it without further delay. The dessert was so bomb! It was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. I loved it so much and finished it in 10 minutes! I enjoyed the dessert. I had an amazing time and it’s no surprise that why Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream was crowned San Bernardino County’s Best Ice Cream in 2025. A great place for Ice Cream, Smoothies, Dessert, and Drinks. The prices are quite reasonable and budget-friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their Dessert items and Ice Cream.”

“1st time here, I asked for them to surprise me and the food was great I got a Chipotle ranch turkey wrap and it was so yummy. I also had coffee and loved that it was perfect not so sweet. “I’ve been eating at Rosa Maria‘s since the early 70s. On my 30th birthday, 1978, I received a box of Rosa Maria‘s burritos as I did on my 74th birthday in Utah. I drove down from Utah on or about 15 October 2022 and immediately went to Rosa Maria‘s for a garbage burrito. I have never been so disappointed. You can’t eat in the store, the staff acted like it was an imposition to serve me and the garbage burrito tasted like it’s name sake, garbage. The tortilla was dry there was hardly any meat in it. What happened? Are you writing a book on how to make a restaurant fail ? The next day I went to El burrito in Redlands for a decent burrito. If you continue your practices you will go out of business.”

The food was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. The Loaded Fries were especially amazing - packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I loved the food so much and finished it in no time!

It was really good we bought another. My son is a 10 yo pizza kind of picky eater, and he really enjoyed the chicken curry and my daughters are under the age of six and they really enjoyed the grilled chicken and spring rolls and the Naan bread. The seating is so comfy and paired with the quietness, it makes a perfect spot to work or study with little to no distractions. I ordered a blueberry latte with oat milk and his “dirtiest of chai” and wow! After trying it, I told him how amazing the drink was, and he proceeded to tell me that the syrups are all homemade, and you can tell. These drinks were so amazing and it is in a tough spot location wise and can feel like it’s closed but just walk in! It’s an amazing spot and it’s so good. The chai was great, but if you’re a true chai lover, ask for extra chai. Trust me. It’s THAT good you’re going to LOVE it. He also makes his strawberry foam homemade and that was probably the best strawberry foam I’ve ever tried. I can’t wait to come back and try another drink because I know he won’t disappoint. “You'll find Fred's Red Tacos among the eateries at The Riverside Food Lab. There are a number of options to choose from but if you like birria, then you gotta check out Fred's! It was my first time trying their Original Quesatacos which they describe as 3 cheesy red birria tacos fried to a perfect crisp and prepped with Serrano sauce and pickled onion. It came highly recommended and it did not disappoint...so good! I also washed down my meal with one of their refreshing agua frescas.
