The Caprese did not have balsmic vinegar and is served with a pesto sauce and was SOOOO good! We also ordered the soup of the day which was the Italian Sausage soup, and I only regret not ordering TWO! Other reviews said parking was a challenge, but we parked in the parking lot just east of the restaurant.”

“We brought two friends to us to dinner. They loved it: we enjoyed a lucious flatbread and bacon wrapped asparagus for appetizers. Our meals were the pork chop on top of a polenta/ truffles bed. Also the pasta and sliders. The wine was a Cabernet from Sinegal Winery in Napa. It was fun chattering some with owners Jake and Suzanne. Gabby and team provided excellent service.”

Steaks we ordered were prepared as ordered for all and were well seasoned and tasty. Good sized portions. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. We were celebrating a 50 year wedding anniversary and the waitress really made the night very enjoyable for all of us. We traveled 70 miles for this dinner and will return for the hospitality and food.”

“First, I am so sorry I did not take pictures Because the pizzas I ordered look like they belonged on menus! Not only did they look good they were amazing! We ordered a cheese pizza, a veggie pizza and a fiesta pizza and I was not disappointed in any of them. The sauce was superb. The amount of toppings per pizza was amazing and this was the epitome of being able to taste everything and every bite. Some of the best pizza we have had in a long time and we actually got these pizzas to take to church and we shared with our friends and everybody raved how wonderful it was.
The customer service was great. There was only one man in the pizza place. He took our order and made our pizza so it was a very personalized experience. He was very nice very outgoing and very helpful when we ordered. I highly recommend this place because not only is it overall amazing it is so affordable we will definitely Be going back!!!”

“Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is truly a hidden gem nestled in the charming heart of Downtown Redlands! I stopped by this ice cream shop yesterday after work. The inside of Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is stunningly decorated and perfect in appearance. I absolutely loved their island-inspired design and the laid-back ambiance. The staff were friendly, humble, welcoming, and incredibly cooperative. They offer an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering Ice cream, Smoothies, Desserts, and Drinks. I chose Brownie Sundae with Pistachio, Double Fudge Chocolate, and Vanilla Ice Cream. They beautifully decorated the dessert with toppings like Sprinkles, Peanuts, Chocolate Syrup, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on top, making it look even more photogenic and irresistible. I took a few snaps of my beautifully decorated dessert and started devouring it without further delay. The dessert was so bomb! It was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. I loved it so much and finished it in 10 minutes! I enjoyed the dessert. I had an amazing time and it’s no surprise that why Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream was crowned San Bernardino County’s Best Ice Cream in 2025. A great place for Ice Cream, Smoothies, Dessert, and Drinks. The prices are quite reasonable and budget-friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their Dessert items and Ice Cream.”

There was a gentleman too that served our larger group and they raved about him and their food as well. We've been here multiple times, and will certainly return. As mentioned the pancakes are made fresh to order and are quite fluffy. One of my children loves adding 'chocolate sauce' to them, as they don't offer 'chocolate chip pancakes' (although I'd recommend they get a bag of chocolate chips and I'm certain other children would love choc. chip pancakes as well).

Another child really loves the waffle they serve. The last time we went they didn't use quite enough batter so there were a lot of 'airy/crunchy' spots, but otherwise, the waffle was also

In the past we've also tried their fries, chicken tenders, veggie burrito, chili-cheese fries, a chicken wrap, and more. Everything is generally tasty, and their portions tend to lean generous.

I do wish that some of these spots didn't seemingly 'nickle and dime' for every little extra condiment (chocolate sauce, ranch, etc.), but otherwise, this place is definitely a regular for our family as a quick option that the kids really enjoy.”

Another time on a Sunday, I enjoyed scrumptious garlic roasted chicken, not just any ol chicken either better than my mom's! You will find generous portions, splendid service from everyone, and live entertainment by Ken O'Malley. Great atmosphere and clean as well.”

“After trying all the local joints in Redlands like El Burrito, Cuca's, Rosa Maria's, Del Valle, etc. I gotta hand it to Abelinos. I ordered the burrito lengua and my god.. tender, fatty, moist, and so flavorful. Their salsa roja has a deep and intense flavor unlike other places where it just makes your burrito wet.

If you combine the tortilla from El Burrito + everything else from Abelinos, you would melt people's minds but... wishful thinking.

“I’ve been eating at Rosa Maria‘s since the early 70s. On my 30th birthday, 1978, I received a box of Rosa Maria‘s burritos as I did on my 74th birthday in Utah. I drove down from Utah on or about 15 October 2022 and immediately went to Rosa Maria‘s for a garbage burrito. I have never been so disappointed. You can’t eat in the store, the staff acted like it was an imposition to serve me and the garbage burrito tasted like it’s name sake, garbage. The tortilla was dry there was hardly any meat in it. What happened? Are you writing a book on how to make a restaurant fail ? The next day I went to El burrito in Redlands for a decent burrito. If you continue your practices you will go out of business.”

The staff were very friendly. They gave me a warm welcome. I ordered one mini Baba’s Hot Chicken Sandwich, one mini Loaded Fries, and one cup of creamy Mac & Cheese. The food was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. The Loaded Fries were especially amazing - packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I loved the food so much and finished it in no time!

“First time trying this place and coming from Mexican roots the birria was good. Great idea for grilled cheese birria our top favorite as a family. The Quesabirrias with the consome was also great. Service was great very welcoming loved it.”
