“This Ginza Sushi place is right in the middle of an area where you’d never expect to find a place like this but I’m SO glad we found it! 🍣❤️ The food and service were both amazing! We went during happy hour thinking the portions might be small, but we were pleasantly surprised the portions were actually a really good size, and everything tasted great! “This place has all you can eat sushi which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about it haha. But they have a lot more than just sushi! They also have cooked foods, appetizers, soups, and all sorts of interesting dishes. And to top it all off, they have a full bar with lots of unique and very affordable drink options! The service is pretty fast and the fish is actually pretty good for all you can eat. I'd definitely consider coming back again sometime!“

“Absolutely the best sushi in Sacramento. I discovered them on a date, we decided sushi on a whim when the raman place several blocks into mid town was closed. It was during the transition of new ownership before their official re-grand opening. They had for the first time cut their dry aged tuna sashimi. My girlfriend and I had just finished and we're about to pay when the owners stopped us for a sampling after we had just finished one of the best sushi meals we have ever had.

The dry aged sashimi was the icing on the cake, it had a clean and buttery flavor. The fish melted in our mouths and was unlike anything we had ever had before. Since then we have gone back several times and it has become our favorite restaurant.

The spicy edamame is also the best I have ever eaten, the other dry aged options available are also just as amazing.

I highly recommend ordering the real hand grated wasabi and skipping the stuff from the tube. If you order the dry age, it comes with a serving that for us was able to be used across 2 rolls.

The presentation of the food also met every expectation I could have had entering the restaurant.“

“We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

“The staff are very friendly and professional. The food is delicious. I’ve never been unsatisfied with a dish I’ve ordered here, and we probably go once a month. The Lion King roll and Crazy Roll are personal favorites. The agedashi tofu and bbq albacore are also quite good! The restaurant doesn’t have the biggest footprint so it can get busy and a little loud during peak dinner hours. However, if you’re going for lunch or early dinner then it’s a very nice and relaxing place to be.“

“Got the super star roll, hand roll, and mix tempura. Sushi was very good, especially the hand rolls. The sushi rolls had a perfect rice mix ratio and it was delicious. The mix tempura was just ok. Tempura batter was kinda thick, hard, and too crunchy, hence the 4 stars. At the moment, Chef Frank is probably my favorite sushi spot.“

“We were visiting Sacramento for 1 day and saw the reviews for Sushi Cafe - so we tried it out - and we weren't disappointed. The sushi was very good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. The only thing that disappointed was the Oyako Don - which was overcooked. All in all - this was a great find.“

I used to work near the area off of Industrial bkvd and used to come here with my coworkers back in the day (2013-2014). My favorite dish to this day is the Spicy Pork Plate. Years later and that has not changed. I have to admit I have not tried anything else on the menu besides my usual and cant speak on it but if its anything like my favorite dish I'm sure its delicious. Now lets talk about spicy pork plate. The plate itself come with salad, little container of sauce and pork atop of rice 🍚. The salad is fresh and tasty, pairs great with the pork and rice. The rice is delicious especially with the included container of sauce. The pork is perfectly tender, juicy, a bit of spice and sweetness. I literally close my eyes when I take a bite its so dang good! There is extra sauce available if needed. I usually add extra sauce to my dish. I like to call in ahead of time after work and pick up my order on the way home. If you dont call in and order in-person at the counter the wait (for the Spicy Pork plate) is around 10-12 minutes. The parking lot is a tad small but there is plenty of parking and there has never been a time where parking was unavailable, especially since there is parking around the corner as well. The name of the restaurant- I Love Teriyaki- sums it up for me. I've been coming here for more than I decade and hope to keep coming here for decades more ❤. Thank you.“

“Was hungry for lunch and had errands to run nearby (R Street). At first I scoffed at the price for a katsu sando bc $16 is a lot. When it came out, I saw it was worth it. Not because it's delicious--it is--but because it is a HEFTY sandwich. I ordered the Jtown spicy chicken. I ate half + half a cookie and was stuffed. I took the other half home. The little box it came in was heavy. It's a solid block of yum. I would definitely come back for a shared lunch next time. Nice staff. Sunny table. Great cookie. The black sesame miso chocolate chip cookie was amazingly chewy and beautiful. I'll be back.“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Just made a stop here as usual and had 1 medium bowl and 2 large bowls, the owner greeted us as we walked in while helping a customer, he was very professional and treated us very well. I won’t go to any other Poki bowl place and I come all the way from Elk Grove just for the best service and best poki bowl.
