The seollungtang rivals that of hanbat without having to go all the way to korea town and they serve other things which i always wanted from hanbat. “I had a really enjoyable dinner at Thanks Chicken. My favorite was the original crispy fried chicken. It's amazing especially if you get right from kitchen. Next one is the garlic soy chicken was crispy, flavorful, and clearly made fresh, and even the simple sides hit the spot.
It did get busy, but the staff stayed friendly and worked hard to keep things moving.
Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood spot for Korean fried chicken, and I’d happily come back again.“

“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. Now I waited in the car not sure if there was seating in the back cause I didn't ask nor venture I just wanted to head to the car and express my opinion to my spouse.. no more than 10 -15 mins later give or take food was ready. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. “So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

The army stew was such a cool dish.. ramen noodles, sausage, spam and all sorts of great ingredients in a delicious broth. The spicy pork with tofu was perfect.. not too spicy but great flavor. The sweet and tangy pork loin was friend perfectly and the sweet and tangy sauce is a must try.. it is perfectly balanced with very bold flavors. The chef came out to chat with us and gave us the history of the army stew which was quite interesting. The dining room is cozy and comfortable with plenty of seating. We have tried so many Korean restaurants in the South Bay and Atto stands out for incredible food and a unique experience. Very highly recommended.“

“We got the duck combo plus the table-side fried rice and it was quite hefty. Can probably feed a good 4-5 people. The duck is grilled with potatoes, rice cakes, mushrooms, garlic & chives and the combo of everything works well and takes away from the usually gamieness associated with duck. The bean paste dipping sauce was probably my fave. The kimchi fried rice was pretty serious as it even had japchae in it. Combo also includes kimchi pancake, steam egg, corn cheese, bean paste soup. Definitely not your typical Kbbq spot, in a good way, and I dig that they specialize in things like duck and intestines, which I'll be trying on my next visit. Bonus points too for being close by in the South Bay where I live.“

Open room with ambiance lights but not dark with awesome authentic Korean vibes and plenty of space for large group to sit together.
The service is super friendly and inviting, we ordered so much food it barely fit in our table and when we ordered soju, they gave us the soju for free to enjoy it with our meal.

“Stopped by Jang Su Jang in Torrance and the place was bustling, with only a few tables open for dine-in.

Ambiance (4/5): Lots of natural light mixed with warm-toned lighting creates a cozy and homey feel. The restaurant has plenty of space, with tables for both small groups and larger parties of up to 8. It was lively and loud inside, but in a good way—exactly the kind of noise level you’d expect at a thriving Korean spot. Beautifully decorated and welcoming.

Food (4/5): I ordered the Jangsu Bossam, which came with rice and two portion sizes of banchan. Everything was well-seasoned, with the cucumbers being the standout—crisp, fresh, and addictive. The bossam itself was flavorful and generously portioned (marketed for 2 but easily feeds 3). We also tried the bibimbap, which was satisfying and nicely done. Overall, both dishes were good, though not quite unforgettable.

Service (4/5): Since we ordered to go, I didn’t get the full dine-in experience, but ordering was quick, friendly, and efficient. I’ll update if I get the chance to try table service next time.

Overall: Solid Korean food in a cozy, busy setting. Worth returning to, though maybe not a place I’d find myself craving often.“

“This is an excellent place to get restaurant quality katsu at a very reasonable price. I had the tonkatsu combo. It came with soup, cabbage salad, steamed rich, and a delicious katsu sauce. The cutlet was perfectly cooked, and the breading was light and crispy, as it should be.“

We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. “Lately, I’ve been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what’s inside. There’s sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I’m really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion.

The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It’s in a busy shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It’s usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there’s lost of seating inside to do so. If you’re not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from.“

“This was actually a Brazilian Steak house prior to this restaurant taking over and was really run down. I have never seen so many customer before until they opened up. Now the place is renovated and has the most awesome mural inside. The staff is so kind and the portions are so large. I love coming across authentic food places that stay true to their passed down recipes. They are incorporating new Togo lunch boxes and they are absolutely perfect to take on the go. Yes the place is hard to find, not their fault, the parking does get packed, and that is because they are so good and authentic. The manager is absolutely such a sweetheart and the owner honestly cooks the food himself with his staff and always has a huge beautiful smile on his face. “I love how ethnic markets: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican supermarkets in So. Cal included a food court where everyone can sample ethnic dishes. At this H Mart, I ordered Hot Stone Bibimbap. It arrived with three sides, and two sauces. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe this dish. All the raw vegetables were freshly sliced, warmed by the heat of the stone and rice. The cooked vegetables were perfectly cooked-maintaining their bright green color. I prefer low salt, so I just poured in a little bit of the sauce. While sitting down to eat my lunch, I thought about groceries to pick up from H-Mart. I’m a little surprised that this food court with 4 eateries wasn’t busier during the week. Bring your appetite.“

“Great value! One of the cheapest kbbq I've eaten at while having better quality meats than a lot of other options! Don't know how they are still making money when it was such a great deal! I do wish that they offered tofu stew, I was sad to hear that they don't when it is one of my favorites! The provided side dishes were great though! Very crunchy veggies! They are also in need of a remodel or fresh paint, but with such great food I don't think it matters much at all. In fact idk how they are making money considering how much of a deal it is!
