“If I could give this place more stars I would!
It was eight of us yesterday and we get to try many different tapas and everything was amazingly delicious.
It’s not our first time to dine there and the experience is always more than satisfying.
All and all the food is delicious, service is excellent, super friendly people and a great location!
Highly recommend ?
One more: don’t forget to try their Sama Sama “The Peacock Chardonnay”.“

“Last night was our 12th anniversary. Blackbird staff was friendly and lovely, our outdoor seating was not too noisy and the food was exceptional. I'll add my voice to the reviews that loved the focaccia, and the smoked trout rillette was tasty. We had the scallops and risotto and for my part, I've never had a better risotto, even if it is already one of my favorite foods. 10/10 am glad I'm local and can eat there again“

I love the al pastor tacos with chunks of pineapple on top. The Colima ceviche is sublime perfection, and the plátanos are the perfect sweet compliment. The mango margarita with tajin on the rim was delicious.“

It was packed but we got a seat on the booth at the back of the room near the end of the bar. Feels so homey and relaxed, the waitress was so kind. “We stopped by during a cruise day and I am so glad we did! We got seasoned chips and salsa when we were seated. I ordered the ranchero breakfast plate and my husband ordered the carnita tacos quick plate. Both had very large protions and came with a small soup and salad. We were so full and neither of us could clear our plates. With both meals, drinks, and a tip we spent about $40 which we found appropriate. Staff were very kind and attentive and the business helps the community. Overall, we felt like we were visiting family or long time friends. 10 out of 10“

Food was very good, but not the best Indian food we've ever had. But yes: we are demanding and, as we all know, tastes differ. The butter chicken was too mild for our taste. Actually practically zero sharpness.
Lassi is super delicious, as is the samosa - a dream.“

And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! “One of the best lunches we’ve ever had! This place is a very happy surprise. My husband and I shared the crispy chicken sandwich and macho salad. Both choices were fantastic.

The chicken sandwich was very well balanced. The bread was very light and didn’t overwhelm the sandwich and the spicy slaw, Swiss cheese, and tomato complimented the crispy chicken.

The macho salad was very unique with the dates, chicken, goat cheese, avocado, almonds, tomatoes and greens lightly dressed in a vinaigrette and the most amazing corn bread croutons.

“Food was great! We tried the sweet breads- my favorite, lobster gnocchi-daughters fave, ramen-good, scallops-super lite and fresh, and the catch of the day-very tasty. The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!“
