“LetsSweet Kitchen is a Hong Kong chaan Teng restaurant in San Francisco South the market neighborhood, across the street from the Porsche dealer. We were in the area and decided to give them a try. Highly rated at 4.9 on Google, 4.7 on Yelp.

The place is clean, Service, friendly and food solid. Prices are higher than Chinatown, of course. Parking is a lot easier here. If you're in the neighborhood and want some Hong Kong style Chinese food, this is a good bet. If you're intimidated by Chinatown, this is a great place to go.

Food Picks:
Brad beef brisket rice with four piece wonton ($22.99) is a special during lunch and includes a drink. Ample quantity and good wontons and sold braised brisket flavor. The Hong Kong milk tea was strong and not too sweet. 8.5/10

Black pepper pork chop and onion over rice ($16.85) had reasonable quantity and was cooked just fine. The sauce was on the peppery side. 8.5/10.

Their famous chicken wings absolutely lived up to the hype—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated with a perfectly balanced sweet and garlicky sauce. Every bite was delicious! “Really good 小笼包. Chinese owned, operated and staffed. You’re getting the real deal here. Beef noodles were pretty decent too. One thing I like is that unlike most Chinese eateries - the MSG here isn’t too strong. Pig ear salad were alright, could do with a bit more kick in flavour. Overall - a great meal and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for good Chinese food.“

“Great spot for all things dimpling, noodles, and cooked veggies! I came here for the first time on a trip 2 years ago and had to make a special trip back this time. My whole family loves it. We got a variety of noodles, dumplings and veggies. Our favorite things were the Dan Dan noodles and green beans. It’s located right next to Japan town in a cute shopping area. Will be back next time we’re in town!“

“Pho 2000 is a no-nonsense hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese spot that is not especially fancy or polished, but it is serving up piping hot, flavorful bowls of pho that absolutely hit the spot. The staff were all super friendly and very prompt with things like water, tea, and bussing dirty plates and bowls, which I really appreciated.

I ordered the #3, the beef pho with rare steak, well-done flank, tendon, and tripe. I tried the broth on its own first and it had a nice depth of flavor before I added my usual dashes of hoisin and sriracha. I also ordered the rare steak on the side since I hate when it gets overcooked, and it was a good test of how hot the soup was when the slices started to turn that perfect light pink gradually as it continued to simmer in the broth.

I liked the pieces of tendon and tripe that were in the bowl, but honestly there could have been a lot more of both since those are some of my favorite bites of pho. The goi cuon, or shrimp and pork spring rolls, were pretty standard and decently fresh, though I'm not sure I'd order them again given the price as they were effectively 2 long rolls cut into 6 pieces for over $10.

Overall, this is a great spot if you're just looking to scratch a quick pho fix and happen to be in the neighborhood.“

“Went with a party of 12 and joined the waitlist early so we were able to get seated pretty quick! Our table ordered one kalbijim medium spicy with cheese and one mild kalbijim. Between the two we liked the medium spicy with cheese a lot more since we thought the mild one a little too sweet.

Meat was super tender and so were the veggies, and it paired very nicely with the purple rice! Wish they had more variety for their side dishes but rly delicious over all, just a little pricy!“

“It’s been a while since my family and I came here for lunch. The food is still very delicious and was craving these yummy dishes. The Shanghai noodles and the xiao long bao are a top favorite! The spicy wontons with chili oil were pretty good. It’s not that spicy at all. So if your spicy tolerance isn’t too high, it’s a good choice. The staff were very friendly and the food came pretty fast.“

“I live only a block away from several very popular Vietnamese restaurants in the Tenderloin. This is a great choice despite located in it's kinda interesting Tenderloin neiberhood. Super hot pho tai! Quick service, and if you want cold water, they bring a nice pint in a big plastic thermos container. Love it every time.“

“This is the best dumpling place I’ve had in SF. Everything you need from delicious dim sums, to the chicken dishes, to fried rice, all just perfection. They are very reasonably priced and they have this fun game that you can play at the end to get a free meal. Also, the chilli oil is the best I’ve had ever!“

“The braised duck was absolutely delicious, the bone just falls off the meat. Egg noodles are al dente and a bit of alkaline and the soup is salty enough to be paired with a bite of noodles. Pickled veg was refreshing. The satay beef dish was ok, wouldn't recommend. Wontons were ok, would come back just for the duck!

“Ordered chicken pho. Loved the broth flavor and noodle texture. Also, I appreciated the smart packaging very much for a takeout order. They serve noodles, chicken, onions and cilantro in a bowl and broth in a separate container. You can pour the broth into a bowl and it's ready to consume!“

“I'm consistently impressed with Suzu. It doesn't draw crowds like the other restaurants, but it's consistently good with fair prices. The $19 curries are massive with two meats. The edamame and tempura are both well-executed. And the chicken katsu is also perfect. Service is always good and works hard to accommodate your group.“

“Me and my wife like to come here for breakfast for $10.99 comes with a cold or hot drink milk tea coffee or soy milk hard to beat that in the city and the portion isn't skimpy or small pretty good size for breakfast. We love the beef brisket noodles soup here. I usually get the Guilin beef brisket noodle soup combo it comes with a lot of preserved veggies too.“

Came on a Tuesday for a late lunch and it was still packed — clearly social media is driving a lot of tourists here for the rice rolls. Got the Rice Roll Express Roll out of curiosity but wished I'd gone with the Shrimp Feast instead. Not bad, just not my favorite. Also wasn't asked about my optional topping and ended up with cabbage by default, so speak up when ordering.

“The Pepes Salmon is so amazingly flavorful. I’m so glad I decided to walk in and enjoy this dish. It’s salmon with a highly flavorful Indonesian seasoning and then wrapped in banana leaves and steamed , served with yummy ginger rice, so fresh and flavorful with lime juice on top. My 4yo son and I shared the dish. It’s mild spice level , so my young son and I both were able to handle the mild heat level and enjoy the dish. We finished it and were very satisfied and full. Once I placed the order, the food came out fast.“

“Before today I was certain that there were no good Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. Then I tried Pho. What a find.

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

The braised duck leg noodle soup is the bowl to order, the wontons deserve their following, and the homemade soybean drink is the right thing on the side.
