“Being an old-ish Army Vet, I had to try the SOS, as it was the go to breakfast in the 80's Army. I was not disappointed with the flavor or the memories! Great, efficient servers, service and food. 12 stars outta 10 stars! (When the VA appointments send me this way again, I'll definitely be getting my breakfast here!)“

“You know this place is authentic when you see all the Chinese people eating here for Chinese New Year’s! The owners are so sweet and the food is authentic. I wanted fish for the holiday and she made sure we got the right kind for good luck. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and made such delicious food. I really felt like I was back at home at this restaurant. The owner spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin too, which was so lovely. It’s hard to find an authentic Chinese atmosphere like this on the peninsula. Good vibes. Highly recommend.“

“Great food! Coming from Texas, I've never had the chance to go to halal Japanese restaurant before, and this place did not disappoint. The yakisoba noodles were delicious, and the beef in both them and the hibachi we ordered was flavorful and not too tough. My favorite item was the American Dream Roll, which is a deep fried eel sushi roll. I thought both the texture and flavor of it was superb, and the Rainbow Roll was good too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Japanese place, and especially to Muslims that might not have had the chance to have Japanese food outside of sushi before!“

“The best kept secret in Monterey! First of all the FRESH hand-made corn tortillas! OMG! Best in town without question. Huevos rancheros and Chilaquiles were amazing! Authentic. You want spicy? We’ve been here tons of times, but today when we went in, the service wasn’t the same, waitress seemed upset for some reason because I asked for extra avocado & I had to ask another waitress for some chips 20 minutes later because the original waitress never asked us if we needed anything else after they brought us our food. Besides that, food was delicious 👍🏿“

“Honestly, the best German food I have ever had. We started with the goulash and the cream of broccoli soup. We knew we were in the right place! We ordered the meatloaf-special of the day, a house platter-mixed assortment of foods, and the sausage plate. Every bite was pure joy. The best sauerkraut ever. I miss it already. We had to try the desserts so we tried the apple custard and the black forest cake. Yummmm! Be sure to book a reservation, they did turn a family away. Don’t miss this gem. 💎“

“If you’re looking for a pizza spot that absolutely knocks it out of the park, this is it. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help us pick out what to try. You can tell they really care about their customers and their food.
The menu had so many amazing sounding options that we couldn’t decide… so we didn’t, we ordered three different pizzas and I’m so glad we did! Every single one was fantastic.

The Sophia was a dream if you love white sauce pizza — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being too heavy. The Golden State was one of the most unique pizzas I’ve had in the best way possible. Every bite had something interesting going on and who knew pizza and potatoes just work so well together.
But the absolute star for me was the special “La Bomba.” WOW. The Calabrian chili gave it the perfect kick and depth of flavor. It was bold, a little spicy, and completely addictive. I would honestly come back time and time again just for that pizza alone.
They have a unique crust was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside — and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully put together, not just thrown on a pie.
The place itself has a great vibe, good service, and the staff makes the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. Whether you’re dining in with friends or grabbing a pizza to go, this place checks every box: great service, creative menu, amazing flavor, and pizza you’ll be thinking about long after you leave.

“Was in town and seen thier food on tiktok decided to try it out! Definitely worth it! They even sold deserts inside which were also delicious! And their customers service was also excellent! I got the cuban torta to go and it was delicious as expected! Only thing i regretted was not dinning in because it would of made it better! Definitely coming back when im in town again!“

“My family and I have been coming to The Orient for over 10 years. This place is the best. It's run by the same family and the deliciousness of their food hasn't changed either. The beef Pho is great, best around I think. I really like their fried rice, salt pepper squid and egg foo young. Pretty much everything here is good. Their lunch specials are deal too.“

“We were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The garlic fries were an excellent start, followed by the pan seared salmon. Even the sides were delicious. Thanks to our server Eric, for the wonderful service. It's so nice to have such a good restaurant right in the hotel.

Update: Back for a second night because last night was so good. Had to have the Garlic Fries again. Oh my... so good! Then it was Chicken Carnitas Quesadilla and Fish and Chips. Excellent! “Authentic mexican and south-american food restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere could be a little bit more comfortable. The food was on point (although the fish in the ceviche was cooked and shredded) and the michelada is a great choice!

“Let me tell you, I come from Texas which arguably has some of the best Mexican food in the country. Concerning my actual order, I only got a simple breakfast burrito with beans, and while to most people it is a basic meal, to me, it tasted like home. The burrito was a great size, reasonably priced, and was delicious! I can’t speak on the rest of the menu, but what I experienced today was a great start! I highly recommend!“

Ordered the 3 item comination plate for dinner on a Tuesday night. This was our second visit to this restaurant. It was not too busy, and we were promptly seated and given menus to look at. I oreded the teriyaki chicken, combo tempura, and inari plate.
The inari with a little wasabi was very good. The combo tempura consisted of shrimp, mushroom, green beans, onion rings, carrot, and zucchini. The tempura was very good, especially with the provided dipping sauce. The teriyaki chicken was alright. Nothing special with light and dark meat. The salad and dressing were very good as well as the rice. Service was good as we were asked how everything was or if we required anything else several times. I put Harumi as one of the top of my list for Japanese food on the penninsula and look forward to another visit.“

“Packed with working men and as one it's great, the only thing I didn't like was the shared restroom that staff has an inside door to. I couldn't tell when they where done since they disappeared and didn't give a notice they where done so I stood around for 5 extra minutes not knowing they have the inside door!!“

He ordered some non alcoholic beverages and got some mozzarella sticks appetizers that filled him up. He called them pizzas because of how big they are. Rest assured they turned his frown completely upside down.“

The salad bar and pizza buffet areas are clean and plentiful. No question this will be our go-to location from now on!“
