“I had an excellent lunch at Sushi Yuzu. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, and everything I ordered tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

I started with the tuna sampler, which was beautifully presented and offered several different cuts and preparations of tuna. Each one had its own distinct flavor and texture, and the quality of the fish really stood out. It was a great way to sample the restaurant’s sushi and a perfect start to lunch.

The highlight, though, was the spicy tuna crispy rice. The rice was crisp and golden on the outside without being overly hard or greasy, while the spicy tuna was fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. It had just enough heat without overpowering the fish. I’d even dare to say Sushi Yuzu’s spicy tuna crispy rice was better than Katsuya’s, which is a very high bar.

The food felt refined without being fussy, and the quality made a casual lunch feel special. Sushi Yuzu is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy fresh sushi, especially tuna. I’ll absolutely be returning to try more of the menu.”

I talked to the manager for a bit about the bar and there was so much love and appreciation behind every word showed me the passion being poured into the craft! Absolutely love this place!”

“Far too packed inside, makes for an extraordinarily loud and less than pleasant dinning experience. Better to eat on the patio, not on the street. The food portions are a little lackluster but the options are expensive. Get water and your drink for there are too few servers to attend to timely refills. This is the type of place you would expect to have carafes of juice and personal pots of coffee but nah, cant be bothered. Cocktails are whats on one of the two menus, so that accounts for part of the noise, too.”

“This is such an awesome spot to meet friends or work colleagues, and to stock your wine cooler! Be sure to get empanadas and salad from Puerto Rican Eats.The inside is lively, but mid-century modern cool. There’s also patio and sidewalk seating. Hannah and Ariel will help you find what suits your palate (and they also play great tunes). If Doug the owner is in, you’re in for a treat!”

“I came here for gelato, and it was absolutely delicious! Both the sugar cone and the cup were excellent. The strawberry flavor is my favorite, and it was simply perfect. We also brought our little dog with us, and she was welcomed so warmly and received lots of attention. We’re so happy we found this place. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully maintained down to every detail. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a delicious afternoon treat.”

“The food and service were OK. The food used to be better when they were at the smaller place further west.
I had a kale salad with salmon and a truffled chicken panini that had prosciutto and cheese, and a slice of pizza We also ordered regular fries and lavender fries.
The salad was ok, the fries were warm, hard, and rigid, the lavender fries tasted just like the regular fries. The pizza and the truffle chicken painini were awesome!!!
The service was prompt and cordial.”

“Finally stopped by for dinner on the way home after always driving by, and so glad I did! Seems like a delivery/pickup heavy spot so I basically had the dining room to myself. Very kind and friendly staff, great prices, and ridiculously good food with big portions. A good strong Thai iced coffee, perfectly seasoned crispy pork with Chinese broccoli, and delicious siumai. My food photography is trash, but good lord this was a great meal. You can hear the woks firing off in the back and taste how incredibly fresh everything is.

Will be stopping by far more often and bringing friends for sure. Thank you for the meal!”

“We were going to be in town for my grandson's Birthday so we decided to order an ice cream cake ahead of time near where we would be.I am very picky and ordered a special cake with ice cream chosen for each little cone that would be on top of the cake and of course a special ice cream that they did not have on their list for the month. I did this by phone. The woman I spoke to was very nice and assured me my order would be right and ready on time. It was.The place is just spotless and the service is wonderful. We were so pleased with the cake. It was great. We also had some ice cream while we were there and it too was wonderful.We especially loved the service from the B&R. It was just perfection.Have a great time eating some ice cream.”

“The food here was pretty good, but the prices were kind of high for a retail fast food experience from a Baja fresh. They need to lower their prices like a lot of places nowadays to match what they’re actually providing with their service and food.”

“What beverage, brewed since ancient times, is made from hops and grains? Find out at Duff Beer Gardens. The vibe here is nice especially around sunset. It’s a great spot to take a break and enjoy a crisp Duff beer.

The beer is solid, though seating can be tough to find during busy times. I really like the episode clips they play on TVs. It’s easy to end up sitting there longer than planned watching old scenes and getting hit with that wave of nostalgia.”

“I live nearby, so I've gotten food here a few times. Consistently delicious, and the owner is very pleasant. Highly recommend if you happen to see the truck at the gas station. Plan to take out, because it's not a dine-in experience but the food is great!”
