“Highly recommend this quaint tea house. Reservations required. Prices typical for afternoon tea service. We began with mimosas with apple cider.
And teas: peach was a group favorite with vanilla spice as a close second in my opinion.
The salad dressing was very good, as was the tomato soup with red pepper. The finger sandwiches were delicious, I especially enjoyed the egg salad and red pepper. And desserts were delightful.
The service was great. Terry is funny and cool and super helpful. The beautiful brick building is decorated to accentuate the historic details. After, we shopped their antiques and each found a few items to take home.”

Yesterday, we attended a baby shower and it was catered by this restaurant, and oh my goodness, it was the BEST tasting, clean, organized caterer for tacos we have experienced. Customer service was excellent! From approximately 40 taco caterers we have experienced this was the BEST!!! Normally, I would not leave a review but this one was worth leaving! We will definitely be visiting there full service restaurant here in Upland soon.”

Staff ..for me ..is like a 5 minute visit with friends each morning! That and a sandwich along with points and various promotions make it most affordable.”

“I was craving sushi and wanted to try a to go sushi place and found this gem! I remembered that one of my yelpies had raved about this place so I had to try it! Wow! The service was incredible! The sushi rolls were so fresh and tasty! My husband and I absolutely love this place! We ordered 4 rolls: Philly roll, dragon roll, eel avocado roll and a blue crab shrimp tempura roll…soo goood!!! We will continue to come here anytime we crave sushi! Highly recommend!”

“Rustic loaf is my place to get all breads for my family. I don’t buy store bought bread anymore. Many varieties of sour dough, but our favorite is the Pullman loaf.. highly recommend.

I also enjoy the olive loaf and cranberry walnut.

“Sign says open at 12. Went there with my son as a reward for having a good week at school. It was close to 12:30 and the store was all locked up. We waited a couple min thinking maybe they were seeing up inside or something but we saw no one thru the windows so we left. As we were pulling out of the parking lot we saw 2 employees walking up to the store. Not sure if they saw us waiting there or not but their car was parked right behind ours so it seems a little sus. We turned around to go back. Upon entering the 2 employees immediately looked annoyed, no greeting, no interaction of any sorts. Super unprofessional”

All of the people who work here are super friendly and it's probably the biggest sit down area for a bagel shop I've seen.”

“I would always pass by this place when I lived in Upland a few years ago but never thought to try. We came by for an early dinner a few days ago and wow, their menu is huge! Ranging from standard vietnamese items to a few thai dishes as well. We tried a couple items and it was okay. The pho noodles were a little bit al dente and I was hoping the broth would be hotter to help soften the noodles. The lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl was pretty good. We also tried the mango & sticky rice dessert, pretty good as well.”

It has a real coffee shop vibe with people actually conversating. The only issue my husband was unhappy with is the drinks are on the smaller side for the price and also they don’t let you pay with cash. Their spinach soufflé is delicious, but the lemon loaf was dry. The staff is welcoming though and make the drinks quickly, so the quality is there.”
