The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. My favorites are the almond pastry paired with an iced mocha coffee made with coconut milk. “This is our favorite local pizza place. Been coming to the Upland location for 16 years. Before that my husband went to one in Rancho. Family owned and operated. Pizza, salad, hot wings, pasta, it’s all good.”

“We were looking for some Chinese food for Mother's Day. We first called Bamboo Garden. Someone answered the phone and said they were closed. Okay... time to formulate a plan B. The next call was to China Pepper. They said they were out of a few things and it would be about an hour to get a to-go order ready. Szechuan Garden in Montclair is always a good choice but no one felt like driving that far. I noticed Lotus Garden on Google Maps over in nearby Upland. I had passed by a few times and the name caught my eye because there used to be a Lotus Garden in San Bernardino. There's probably no connection however.

Anyway... we placed a call to Lotus Garden and ordered Almond Chicken, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Beef with Snow Peas, and Chicken Fried Rice. We were told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I headed out the door and arrived about 15-20 minutes later. Our order was waiting for me when I got there. I paid and was quickly on my way.

I forgot to take a photo of the food in the containers but you can see a little of each on my plate here. It was really good. They did give us Shrimp Fried Rice instead of Chicken Friend Rice but no one seemed to mind. I think my favorite dish was the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. I would definitely order that again.”

They make a great team! Jennifer handed me my food ... and she did a wonderful job ...refreshing to receive service with a smile. And when I didn't like my drink Jonathan stepped in and made a suggestion...never knew Jack and a Box had unsweetened raspberry Ice T. It was really a great experience. These days good service is hard to find. I hope that Vanessa, Jennifer, and Jonathan are recognized for there teamwork.”

The owner, “lady Aey” helped me with part of my order and she asked if I’d been to Thailand because I liked spicy and asked for the fish sauce- I think I was sounding very sure of what I wanted :) I told her that coincidentally, I was going to Thailand this summer. We exchanged what’s apps and she said she’d help me to plan a great trip.

It did feel like family- she called herself Thai lady Aey, and I am black lady Renee- I’m part of the family now- thanks Thai Family :)”

“Sign says open at 12. Went there with my son as a reward for having a good week at school. It was close to 12:30 and the store was all locked up. We waited a couple min thinking maybe they were seeing up inside or something but we saw no one thru the windows so we left. As we were pulling out of the parking lot we saw 2 employees walking up to the store. Not sure if they saw us waiting there or not but their car was parked right behind ours so it seems a little sus. We turned around to go back. Upon entering the 2 employees immediately looked annoyed, no greeting, no interaction of any sorts. Super unprofessional”

It was stronger than expected but very satisfying...I cheated and had them add a touch of half &half w/ dash of raw sugar. Mmm. I've also tried their boba teas before, not overly sweet but definitely full of flavor and the boba was the right texture.”

“My new to go fix! Went here with an open mind and left with a new perspective of how coffee should be made. They do it perfectly. The coffee is strong and smooth. And the service is excellent. Went here with my mom and ordered a Spanish latte and a “The Void.” If you need a strong pick me up, DEFINITELY would recommend this place before hitting up shoping or going to work. Overall, nice service, coffee, and atmosphere, would recommend.”

“Had breakfast there and was hot and filling. Ordered the country skillet and was excellent! Coffee is good but they serve it in a small cup that cools down too fast. Service was fast and excellent.
Also bought some of there cookies and they are good but not great.”

“Stumbled by this place after a hazy morning of fasting and having blood drawn at the nearby Quest.

It’s a solid no-frills breakfast burrito. You get three meats, but the quality of sausage didn’t wow me, and the cheddar cheese was one big clump. That said, it fit the price at $8.80 (with tax) and the reg. size filled me up good. I got the 3-egg but they make 5s and 10s if you’re really hungry.

Free coffee was hot off the pot and did the job at quenching my caffeine withdrawal.

Not a strong desire to come again, only cause it’s a little out of the way for me.”

They had one staff members going around refilling everyone's drinks and another checking to make sure everyone's meals were good. They also had fresh flowers on the tables which made our meals more enjoyable.”
