“This is like your Korean friends mom’s kitchen. Very homey feel. Delicious food. Everything I’ve tried has been good. Most authentic Korean food in the valley. Big fan. Their potato and cucumber banchan is next level, I wish they could let me order just those two in a big container.“

“Been visiting for 20 years. Taste and flavor are always on point! Friendly service, you won't get unless you get the owner herself. But the food is always so friggin delicious, that I don't care about friendliness. It's not full service anyway, and the food comes out quickly. And, the price is so reasonable - better than reasonable. I could almost never go to any other restaurants in the same plaza because this place is so much more superior.“

“Love Jo&Go Sushi. They saved me when we first moved to LA and while the house was being remodeled.

4 years later... it's still as good as first discovered. It's a neighborhood gem inside the Korean Greenland Mrkt, which btw, is also awesome.

Must try is the salmon bowl, the salmon slices are so tender and buttery... they give you a crazy amount of salmon over the rice and seriously it's enough to have a 2nd meal! One note about the bowl... I'm not a fan of drenching really good cooked rice with sauce, so I always order without the sauce. The rice is not sushi rice which makes it even more delicious... the rice is always perfectly cooked. You get a miso soup and a cute little container of pickled radish (delish). I would love to know where they source the fish... it's like being in Japan, it's so fresh.

“This is hands down one of my favorite kbbq spots. The food is great, no frills, just good meat and sides. My favorite thing about this place has to be the service. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday, and there was no wait! We had three different servers attending to us this evening, and they checked in on us constantly, making sure we had everything we wanted. And they're fast and so friendly! Another great bonus is that the overhead vents are so strong, I never feel gross and oily after eating here like I do with other kbbq spots.“

Chicken fried rice was…not worth eating.

Vibe is very casual. Like the water is put on the table in what looks like a large novelty cup. Order is taken and food is delivered, but no hand-holding service.“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“I am by no means a seolleongtang connoisseur but Hanbat is well-known for a reason! They have a very small menu but they are very good at what they serve. I opted for the brisket in the soup. The beef bone broth is very beefy and the brisket is very tender. The meat to soup ratio is higher than what I expected, probably also because it sinks to the bottom of the bowl. Their rice was perfectly chewy and fluffy, and kimchi was refreshing. Keep in mind that to-go containers are an extra $0.50 so bring your own if you anticipate you will have leftovers! The portion is not huge though.“

I told them we were tight on time because of a show and they went out of their way to accommodate, making sure we got our table as soon as possible and fired all our food QUICKLY! We had some great recommended soju and 5 dishes between 2 people. Our favorites were the salmon kimbap, the uni tteok-bokki and the shrimp toast. (Note, we don’t eat red meat so cannot comment on those dishes). The crudo was a tad overdressed but fish was fresh. Highly recommend for a small party for pre show or pre night out dinner.“

“K-Stop has an amazing selection, and their kimbap is seriously delicious. I’ve tried all the varieties; tuna, beef, spicy chicken, and vegetable and every single one has been great. They’re super filling too. I usually order three for two people, but honestly, one per person is plenty.

“Pork and kimchi dish was the star for me. The staff was friendly and very helpful to get our orders in. We were the first group there for dinner. If you have people with big appetites, maybe order the fried rice because rice and banchan is not included. My brother had asked me before driving there. I looked up Butnal on Google maps and thought, surely banchan comes with every order! They did not offer it. So that was disappointing.

I would not recommend the fried chicken dishes for a group because it was advised that the serving size is for 2 people but I felt like it was only good for 1. The first bite my brother had was mostly batter, he forgot that it was a chicken dish. I wish we ordered the Spicy squid or Pancakes instead 😅

It was a farewell family dinner so I wanted it to be a hit! But maybe this is more casual option- like if you were getting something with friends before a concert. I guess street food means it is on the lighter side.“

I’ve noticed a diversity of employees that makes the experience all more genuine. The price is beyond affordable, the arrays of meat are delicious, and the side dishes add authenticity that can’t be replicated. The staff are beyond attentive at refilling waters, providing meat, cleaning, and checking in. I’ve noticed the owner takes the time to remember his customers and is always having a pleasant conversation that is heartwarming. “Food was good and for the amount you get, it was a good deal. For 4 adults and 2 children, we were all pretty stuffed. We got combo D that included a wide variety of dishes, which at first we thought wasn't going to be enough, but then it just kept on coming. 2 of my essential banchans were there: a potato dish (salad in this case) and cucumber kimchee. They also had raw shrimp, which was a first for me, it was pretty good.

Seating seemed private with tall dividers, parking wasn't bad at the time I visited. They use table bells for service, which is nice.

Only negative would be at the end, I felt a little rushed to leave, but to be fair, a line was forming and we were mostly done.“

I would recommend going with the regular flavor to fully appreciate the rich flavor of the broth. Kimchi is also served as a standard side dish. The ribs in the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the noodles themselves were delightfully chewy and tasty.

While the service was not particularly friendly or proactive, it didn't significantly detract from the overall quality of the food. Mountain Noodles is a solid choice for anyone craving varolious and well-prepared Korean cuisine.“

“Chick & Burger nailed the flavor but left me wishing for a little more. This is a small business with heart, and the woman who took my order was kind and welcoming. I genuinely hope they thrive. I’d also encourage the owners to engage with their Google reviews and hear the feedback, because it’s clear people want them to succeed. The food is already delicious, and with a few thoughtful tweaks, they could easily be a five star spot.

The fried chicken sandwich was a standout. Juicy, tender, full of flavor, and balanced perfectly with honey butter and light mayo. The bun held up, and the whole thing felt intentional, like someone cooked it with care. Honestly, one of the best chickens I’ve had anywhere. The bibimbap was also clean and comforting, no strange flavors, just solid balance. But the portion was small. I got both dishes thinking I’d have lunch and dinner, and ended up finishing the bibimbap quickly because there weren’t enough vegetables to round it out. For a dish that usually shines because of its mix and volume, that part felt underwhelming.

The meal came to $35.01 for take out, which isn’t bad for the quality, but the value didn’t fully match the flavor. A little more generosity with the portions, especially the vegetables or the slaw in the sandwich, would make a real difference. Still, the care shows, and I’d come back for that chicken in a heartbeat.“

“Hands down the best late night hearty meal after a fun night with friends! The food regardless of what you choose is amazing with fresh ingredients and full of flavor! The employees have it down and are so quick to assist and are friendly. It does get quite busy depending on when you go, but since SND closes so late there tends to be a wait at night. There’s plenty of tables and the workers do their best with the waitlist. Parking is limited, so your best bet is street parking. Def my go to late meal spot or hangover meal! :)“

“This was one of my childhood go to spots from when I used to live in L.A. It has been about eight years since I last came, and even though I do not fully remember the exact taste, I just remember really liking the food. Coming back while visiting did not disappoint at all.

I ate two pans, and yes, the servers can seem a little curt at times, but if you are a local or someone who has been coming for years, you understand that it is just part of the place. The food may not be super extravagant, but you can feel the sincerity in it.“
