My wife typically places the orders online, so I don’t always know the exact dish names, but we’ve had a variety of their rice plates with different meats and vegetables, along with dishes like steamed pork ribs and fried fish. Everything we’ve tried so far has been consistently good and satisfying.

“I stopped by on Saturday with my wife for some lunch. I heard of the fundraiser this restaurant is having with the knights of Columbus. The restaurant will donate 20% of your bill to the knights. I thought that was tremendous and admirable. We shared several dishes like vegetables chow mein, orange peel beef and some beef that I don't remember the actual name. Everything tasted fresh and service was quick even tho it looked like a good lunch rush was the going on at the time. We had some ice cold flavored tea which we both enjoyed very much. We decided to share this place with our daughter so we pick up one of the lunch specials to go. Price was reasonable, the good was delicious, service was quick and friendly. “KW is genuinely one of my all time favorite restaurants now. I go all the time with my boyfriend and I always am excited to try something new. The portion sizes for the prices are genuinely amazing. KW has fed me for 2 days once! I ate my dinner then I had enough leftovers still for two lunches at work. Their HK Style Lemon Tea and HK Style Milk Tea are genuinely the best I’ve ever tasted. I also highly recommend their Beef Wellington (I think it’s called KW Signature Filet Mignon) and any of their grilled category dishes. Their honey walnut shrimp is also DIVINE. “Literally blown away by the authenticity of the Guilin rice noodles. Portions are big and very very authentic, you get 螺蛳 (snail) and 锅烧 (crispy pork). I also liked how the vibe of the restaurant was super chill and relaxing. No one is rushing you to order or pay, really enjoyed our time here.“

“I went with my mom to try out the dim sum and the service was spectacular. Everyone was attentive the minute we got to our seats. We got our food promptly. The dim sum is 3.99 (weekdays) and 4.99 (weekends). They also have a deal for Lobster noodles (21.99) and congee once you order 3 or more dim sum dishes. I would go back but make sure you go early because this place does get busy.“

“I’m updating my previous review after giving Chen Kee another try, and I’m happy to say I noticed a big improvement.

Their congee pot has much better flavor and remains a very generous portion compared with many other places. The wonton noodle soup also has the flavor and ingredients I’ve been looking for. I used to work at a place well known for wontons, and I’ve also made wontons myself for many years, so I’m quite particular about them!

They currently have a promotion where all dishes are $7.77, all day, including lunch and dinner. I honestly don’t know how they do it at that price!

What an improvement from my previous experience. I’m glad I came back and gave Chen Kee another chance.

“Staff was absolutely helpful and kind! The Decor and table set ups looked beautiful and family friendly. We ordered the Chow Fun with Veggies and the House Special Prawns. Chow fun was perfect! When I say it was the best prawns I’ve ever had, it was the best prawns I’ve ever had. They have something special here and I would recommend 10/10.“

“Was in the area so came in for a early Sunday morning breakfast and was pleasently surprised. Ordered the congee w/fried noodles and a western style chicken steak plate w/pineapple bun along with their signature HK style milk tea which came out in a flash. The portion were generous and the taste reminded me of the neighborhood HK cafes in Hong Kong! Overall it hit the spot on all the right places and will definitely return for their lunch menu in the future!“

“We are lucky that if you dine during the lunch time, the rice is free. Or else you need to order the rice separately. The rice portion is big, however, one of the rice bowl contains the VERY BOTTOM of the rice pot. (See my picture). I don't think that is the right and professional way to serve a customer with that portion of the rice. Therefore, that deducts a star for this restaurant.

The service is good and the atmosphere is standard.

In conclusion, the prices for this restaurant are a bit high in my opinion. I will ONLY come back if the 20% off discount continues.“

“Came here with fam for lunch on a weekend. It can be so packed at this place bc it va be very busy! This is very lowkey casual ambiance so no need to dress up.

Food is served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Drinks can be added on for $2.50 when ordering meals and if you want to make it large they’ll tack on extra 88 cents. The drinks do take a while to come out especially the teas bc they’re freshly made behind the counter. Also, they seem to be so busy that it’s hard to flag down servers unless they’re brining food or drinks.

The food is quite alright here and as expected for a HK / Canto style palate.

Note they have 2 menus — one that is bigger and more extensive, and a simpler one (photos are of the simpler menu). Prices are fair for the size of the dishes (they’re not huge like other places but also most are under $15 a dish).

We ordered the following and all was tasty:
- sweet and sour pork ribs
- egg over friend rice and gravy (the kids loved it)
- seafood tofu clay pot
- beef w mushrooms stir fry
- yellow chicken

Restrooms: they’ve got 2 separate ones. Decently clean, thankfully.

Parking is FREE but quite difficult here in the plaza bc the lot is shared with so many other eateries in that McDonald’s plaza. So either you wait for a spot to open or take your car down the block and walk a little.“

On weekends from 3PM-5:30PM, they offer an excellent afternoon team late lunch menu which is under $13!

Great wide selection of cafe style dishes, so filling you have enough for a snack later =]

We ordered:
Minced Beef & Egg on Rice - Very light savory in flavoring which is nice for lunch so you don't feel guilty. I had enough to take home to make more sunny side up eggs to enjoy it with

Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs - Comes with a large side of jasmine rice. The sour and sweet sauce is just right, not overpowering in flavor on one spectrum. There are bones on some of the ribs FYI. The sauteed vegetables is a great balance to the rib meat.

Baked Sole Fillet & Spinach in Cream Sauce - I chose pasta which hit the carb crave I was having. They had big chunks of sole fillet to balance the creamy sauce. I would recommend adding a bit of pepper if you want some adjustments to the flavoring.

The staff seated us immediately and provided their complimentary soup of the day, which was cream corn soup

“Had dinner at Top Island Seafood Restaurant recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions, making it a great place for sharing family-style meals.

“Friday 8/14/26 Lunch at The Noodle. Ordered a custom dish that is not listed on the extensive menu; shredded pork with bean sprouts chow fun wet style. This is an old time favorite Hong Kong style. Delicious and filling! The menu has extensive dishes where you can come back numerous times to try new dishes. It’s authentic Hong Kong style/Southern China foods. Lots of great dishes with their wok he (charred) flavors and savory soup base.

The service staffs were working hard and quickly for the customers. The restaurant were cleaned and the decors were average and dated.

I got a garlic veggie and a crispy noodle. Both were super delicious. The veggie sauce made it just right seasoning. Would definitely come back for some dim sum next time“

“I feel that in keeping with Asian restaurant tradition I should award 3 stars because, as we all know, this is the perfect amount. Five stars and it's a bougie Asian fusion place that's going to rip you off. You want three stars because the service will feel inattentive to western eaters but be perfect for eastern diners. So these five stars are adjusted for my tastes: I don't want to be bothered while I eat, I don't need ambiance when eating Chinese food, and I don't want to pay extra for these. In fact, I would say when I sent the service was a little too attentive 😂😂😂. I'll also say that I ate with my friends from China so my experience was we walked in, Chinese was spoken, we were ushered into a nondescript back room, more Chinese was spoken, huge plates of the best food were delivered, a person kept checking in on us hence my comment that the service was too attentive, we fought over the bill, I lost, and we left with tons of leftovers. Asian 3 stars. Would recommend and come back.“

“We get takeout from this spot all the time. The food is on point. We especially love the braised tofu, black bean beef, soy sauce chicken, and fish filet with seasonal veg. The combos are so worth it and can feed an army. We probably get food here at least once every 1-2 weeks.“
