“Just made a stop here as usual and had 1 medium bowl and 2 large bowls, the owner greeted us as we walked in while helping a customer, he was very professional and treated us very well. I won’t go to any other Poki bowl place and I come all the way from Elk Grove just for the best service and best poki bowl. I recommend the place all the time, I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and have always been pleased.“

“I visited here for the first time tonight and had the BEST experience! I had just gotten off a long and busy shift at work and wanted to treat myself to dinner. I looked up some sushi restaurants nearby and spotted this one and wanted to give it a try! Everyone from the hosts, servers, and chefs were so kind and attentive. I ordered the Salmon Truffle Sashimi and Sun Roll and it was genuinely the most quality fish I’ve had and hands down the best sushi rolls I’ve eaten! “Stopped at this place cause we were looking for Bento boxes. lol. I didn't read the menu prior to stopping. We contemplated leaving cause we weren't sure about the items on the menu. I am happy to report we enjoyed our meal.

Here's what we ordered:

1. Wakame
2. Taco Sake
3. Katsu Don

The taco sake was yummy. The sauce on the taco gave poke vibes but wrapped up in crunchy seaweed that stayed together nicely after each bite. The katsu loss a little of the signature crunch after being covered by all the yummies in the bowl but overall good. Maybe change the plating to layer the chicken on top so it doesn't turn soggy.

The tonkotsu ramen was rich, flavorful, and comforting, while the matcha dessert was light and refreshing. The décor, with lanterns and bamboo accents, made me feel transported straight to Japan.“

“I love Rice Theory, I have been several times since I live in the neighborhood and every time it’s delicious. Love the yuzu miso salmon but honestly you can’t go wrong picking at random. “I have been going to Otos most saturdats for 5 years. What amazes me is that the people remember you. I used to call ahead to have some items from the kitchen for me to pick up because I couldnt get there by 9:30 and theres no hassle even if its like 2 items…and they remember me.

The teriyaki chicken is plentiful and cooked just right. I love their teriyaki sauce. Every place makes their sesame chicken different, theirs is thin and crunchy, seems like a pounded out fillet of breast. Plenty of tables if you wish to stay and eat, I usually call ahead for a to go order.“

Not because it's delicious--it is--but because it is a HEFTY sandwich. I ordered the Jtown spicy chicken. I ate half + half a cookie and was stuffed. I took the other half home. The little box it came in was heavy. It's a solid block of yum. I would definitely come back for a shared lunch next time. Nice staff. Sunny table. Great cookie.
