“Just made a stop here as usual and had 1 medium bowl and 2 large bowls, the owner greeted us as we walked in while helping a customer, he was very professional and treated us very well. I won’t go to any other Poki bowl place and I come all the way from Elk Grove just for the best service and best poki bowl. I recommend the place all the time, I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and have always been pleased.“

“We had a large party and this was our first visit to pier 50. Fina was our server and did such an amazing job. We really did have an amazing experience and she was so kind and patient. “Came Friday dinner, around 7pm, busy, ~80% full, took ~40mins for the food to start trickle in. The deep fried gyoza were not hot when came out. Surprisingly were only warm. Tried bento box 2 items: sashimi and teriyaki beef. I enjoyed the salad more than expected. Love the house sauce. Teriyaki beef and sashimi were decent. My husband ordered a roll, can't remember the name now, it's decent as well.“

“Stopped at this place cause we were looking for Bento boxes. lol. I didn't read the menu prior to stopping. We contemplated leaving cause we weren't sure about the items on the menu. I am happy to report we enjoyed our meal.

Here's what we ordered:

1. Wakame
2. Taco Sake
3. Katsu Don

The taco sake was yummy. The sauce on the taco gave poke vibes but wrapped up in crunchy seaweed that stayed together nicely after each bite. The katsu loss a little of the signature crunch after being covered by all the yummies in the bowl but overall good. Maybe change the plating to layer the chicken on top so it doesn't turn soggy.

“This was an impromptu stop. My friend and I were doing some trinket box treasure hunting on March 6th and got very peckish around 3:00 p.m.

We were by rice theory and my friend had said that he had tried it a long time ago somewhere else and was wondering if this was the same place. So we stopped in.

When we got there we were greeted by the individual behind the cash register and she asked us if we had any questions. We asked what were some of the more popular items chosen and she gave us a rundown of what people typically get. We did enjoy her because she was playful about buying basically a handful of items to give everything a little bit of taste.

We decided to have the RT roll, spicy tuna salad inari, and the tuna egg salad.

While we waited we checked out the rest of the store which was super cute. As you could tell with some of my pictures they had some really cool items for purchase near the cash register that were connected to chinese/lunar New Year. And there was all these little designs throughout the shop that were just so playful and fun. The space itself was not very large but definitely comfortable. There was music playing in the background and it was just a nice space to casually be in and enjoy a nice moment with friends.

The items we got were definitely delicious great flavors, not overly spicier creamy, and the vegetables added into them were definitely fresh because they had a nice crunch to them. I want to definitely go back and try the rest of the food there because again what we had as a snack was definitely yummy yummy yummy“

Ju Hachi is a spot where fresh shipments of fish come first, and you can Taste it immediately. Clean cuts, fresh, succulent and juicy - the Chefs choice sashimi of the day was ocean trout + hamachi + salmon. For the fitness folks that need high protein macro friendly eats, Ju Hachi is your spot.

For service pacing, the holidays are times we're most businesses are understaffed and patience is truly needed with compassion to understand the service here stands out because they are focused on making sure we have a quality meal despite high volume customers in a small packed place.

Ambiance, the aesthetics makes the place great for family , business meetings, or even bonding time for folks that want to escape work chaos. The music playing was the 90's and 2000s RNB so - best believe it was a vibe.

“I have been going to Otos most saturdats for 5 years. What amazes me is that the people remember you. I used to call ahead to have some items from the kitchen for me to pick up because I couldnt get there by 9:30 and theres no hassle even if its like 2 items…and they remember me.

The fishes are great and fresh. Its very rare that my husband complains about it.

The teriyaki chicken is plentiful and cooked just right. I love their teriyaki sauce. Every place makes their sesame chicken different, theirs is thin and crunchy, seems like a pounded out fillet of breast. “Was hungry for lunch and had errands to run nearby (R Street). At first I scoffed at the price for a katsu sando bc $16 is a lot. When it came out, I saw it was worth it. Not because it's delicious--it is--but because it is a HEFTY sandwich. I ordered the Jtown spicy chicken. I ate half + half a cookie and was stuffed. I took the other half home. The little box it came in was heavy. It's a solid block of yum. I would definitely come back for a shared lunch next time. Nice staff. Sunny table. Great cookie.
