“This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time! The restaurant is so cute from the moment you walk in. A couple friends and I sat at the sushi bar, shared a bottle of sake, crab cheese wontons and several sushi rolls.

The sushi chefs were incredibly kind and surprised us with complimentary salmon nachos while we waited which were AMAZING. To top it all off, they brought us mochi ice cream for dessert.

Every single thing we ate was delicious and the staff made the entire experience feel so welcoming and special. Exceptional food, wonderful service, and such a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be back! 😊🍣✨“

“The food has a homemade flavor that you don't really get from other places. I got the Chicken Katsu Don and you could tell it was hand prepped and made. The slightly sweet sauce paired nicely with the otherwise savory dish. I also tried the Karage and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

There is only 1 thing that keeps this away from 5 stars and thar is the Boba. I got the strawberry one and it was a bit too strong. Having almost a perfume flavor to it. But I also tried the normal milk tea and that was delicious, better than some milk tea specific places I have been too.“

“We love Kumoya! It is such a hidden gem. We came tonight for our anniversary and every single bite was delicious. The staff had personalized the menus for us after reading our reservation. Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. We love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs in action! We always recommend to our friends and family who have a special occasion or just love phenomenal food. We will continue to come back again and again!“

Peter, Christine, Eric, Ong and the rest of the team at Taki always make the experience special - even if its something as simple as a fun garnish on my plate or remembering my name and my favorite pieces.
I come around probably once a week since I live nearby, so I can walk home after enjoying a small bottle of sake.
Today I tired the hand rolls and was shocked by the sheer size and how absolutely stuffed they were! Also, the sake nigiri pieces are larger than life and I am obsessed with their umami red snapper and the beautiful presentation of the amaebi, sweet shrimp. I always get multiple orders of ikura and leave stuffed!

“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

Neighbors were also great people. Great downtown location and very walkable to many locations and union station. Units are pretty sound proof, rarely heard my neighbors ever and felt very safe here, along with a secure garage. Highly recommend Alara.“

“There was no bok choy or sprouts in my bowl as the description says. I also paid for an extra egg to be added and there was no yolk it was just the whites. The flavor of the rest was really good though and the chasu buns were delicious.
Ordered to go and had to wait an extra 20 mins beyond the expected pick up time.“

“Easy find an conveniently located. The sushi are so cheap, delicious, and well sized. Got 5 pieces of tempura sushi for around $7. They give you sauces at request and a good amount. The menu has amazing prices, especially in this economy. There's also drinks and snacks if you're interested.

My only true issue is the wait time. They only take an order or 2 every 5 to 10 minutes. I waited around 30 minutes for my order. I forgive this since there were only 2 workers and a decent number of customers. Bathrooms and tables are there while you wait. Clean inside.

If you're looking for cheap sushi- don't buy it for nearly twice the price at the target or Walgreens on either side. Get it fresher and tastier here.“

“Ill start with the positive: all the food was great, we had the snow white appetizer plus the Hawaiian and Dynamite rolls. + some seaweed salad, salmon sashimi and a fried rice dish. Thumbs up for all of that. The food was ready about 15 minutes after the expected time and they forgot to include the spicy crispy tuna for the promotion so that was a little disappointing.“
