“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to“

“All of the staff were super friendly. We definitely felt under dressed. I got the eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. There wasn't much hollandaise sauce, so it was a bit dry and the Smoked Salmon was strong. Their potatoes and veggies needed seasoning. My daughter enjoyed her french toast. For basic Brunch, it was pricey. Not everything they offer is on the menu, we had to ask about juice and coffee.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“Great experience, most of the food was absolutely delicious but the portions aren’t huge (as expected). The Kinship name on the door is almost undetectable, speak-easy vibes to the entrance. The service was impeccable, the decor is minimalist and not too cozy (very subjective of course). The beef tongue appetizer was as our favorite dish. Prices are pretty reasonable for the high end restaurant.“

“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)“

Like it) and the mushroom soup. Sorry I can’t provide pics cause I wanted to enjoy the full experience. Both plates excelled in presentation and flavors. They blew my mind; specially the mushroom soup. It was amazing! I also like that the Persian bowl was a feature by an Iranian chef recently arrived to the country. The ambience and service were outstanding as well. And I loved that I could, for once, speak Spanish without feeling intimidated.“

“One of my favorite DC cafes! The breakfast sandwich and burrito are delicious, the coffee is great (+ they free refills), and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I’ve come here after morning workouts with big groups and they are so accommodating. They have great indoor and outdoor space and it’s the perfect place to hang out or get some work done. “My classmates and I were coming here for happy hour and I called just to give them a heads up that a large group was coming. The manager went above and beyond and blocked off a section of the restaurant for us so that we could mingle and enjoy each other without disturbing other guests. The service was excellent and the food deals really can’t be beat. I recommend this location to everyone!“

“We loved having dinner so much on Friday night that we had lunch on Saturday! Lobster roll was delicious. Great selection of raw oysters. PEI mussels were the best! Service was on point. Friday night Ashley was great and sorry I didn’t get our great servers name on Saturday. Manager Ronald Vasquez was so personable and made us feel like regulars. Wish we lived a bit closer because we would be. Highly recommend!“

“My wife and I recently had an amazing experience at Jônt. The whole thing, from the counter seating and loud music, to the phenomenal staff I 10/10 recommend. The food was unique and so fun to try. Every bite may not be a hit for everyone, but like i said it’s fun to try.“

“My daughter and son-in-law treated me for my birthday and what a treat it was! From the birthday champagne treat to the special popcorn to the dessert and all meals in between—nothing disappointed. The food was delicious. Filet mignon prepared to perfection. Lamb chops, braised beef, shrimp—all delicious. The sides; I could go on. My husband also enjoyed his meal. Our particular teenaged granddaughter loved her chicken tenders. Even our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal. Definitely will return. This was our first time but it won’t be our last. And last but not least—our server, Micaiah, was the best. Her recommendations were on point. Top notch and so professional!“

Equinox on 19th is a special experience whenever you go, but we are especially grateful to have a top notch restaurant offering plant-based options. Service is always on point and the staff is friendly & accommodating. We arrived early, but they were happy to seat us right away. The pace of our meal was perfection and we enjoyed every dish. Located in the heart of DC, but we are always able to park right out front which is very nice. This is fine dining with a special touch. Not to be missed, especially if you're looking for a great plant-based meal.“
